Palomo Furniture and Interiors Inc

In the summer of 2011 I was working with a home designer and asked for a recommendation for a company that does furniture restoration. The designer recommended Palomo Interiors, Inc. located in Sterling, VA. I wanted to either buy a new dinning room table or fix the one I had. In July of 2011 Armando & Hector Palomo owners of Palomo Interiors came to my home to give me an estimate. I pointed out one area of the table top that looked very bad (cracks/spits in the veneer). I told them that I did not want to waste money if it could be fixed. They assured me that it could be fixed at the price they quoted me was $1,200. They took the table to their shop and several weeks later returned the table. It looked like they had done a good job. However, in early 2012 the table top developed bubbling and cracks in the area that they said they could fix. I contacted Palomo Interiors and they came out to the house to look at it. They recommend that I wait awhile to see if after running the house air conditioner the cracks remained at the same length. In June of 2012 they came back out to house to pick up the dinning room table and took it back to the shop again for repair. Several weeks later they returned table and again it look very good. In early 2013 the bubbling and cracks reappeared. Again I contacted Palomo Interiors and was instructed to send them a picture because they were working in Baltimore, MD and could not get out to my house at this time. I sent them pictures of the area and their response was that it would cost me more money to have it fixed. My response to Palomo Interiors was that they had assured me in the beginning that the table could be fixed at the quoted price and that they needed to stand by their work. There as been no response from Palomo Interiors, Inc.
