Description of Work: I moved from one home to another. The first set of movers was awful, didn't speak English well and didn't communicate with you. The second group were amazing and professional. I called to complain and the response was prompt but largely vacuous. I wouldn't use them again.

Description of Work: On time, with a full crew that were very professional and worked quickly to accomplish all that we wanted done the way we wanted it. They are a great company and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Description of Work: We boxed our home contents ourselves. They moved everthing, including all furniture. We moved approx. 16 miles. It was expected to be the hottest/most humid day of the year (it was). On the day of the move, the lead guy recommended one additional mover. We accepted, and it turns out it was needed. The worked very hard and very quickly, and all were polite & friendly. They managed to move an oversized L-shaped office desk into the basement, when we were convinced it wouldn't fit. They protected floors, walls, handrails, and stairway ceilings before moving anything (both our old and new homes). The lead also pointed out existing dents/marks before moving anything. Awesome. Would highly recommend/use again.

Description of Work: So, I'm still in the process of engaging My Guys for the big move early Sep but wanted to share some very positive feedback related to my initial contact with them. Punctually at the scheduled 9am on Fri, George shows up at my house with a big smile on his face. He was very easy to talk to and very professional. We walked around the house while he made accurate notes of what was going to move and what was going to stay. He was very patient and answered any and all questions I had. At the end of the tour he sat down, prepared the estimate and went over all the options in detail. Their rates for both the labor and packing materials were reasonable. I'm currently working with George to schedule the move on 9/3 and should have more details on D-Day immediately after....stay tuned..If only all moving companies were like My Guys moving :)

Description of Work: My organization performed an internal office move. I contracted with My Guys, so staff would not have to move heavy boxes and furniture. My Guys were on time and worked so efficiently that we used only one full day and a couple of hours the next to complete the move, almost a full day ahead of schedule. | |The crew was friend, responsive and polite to the many people trying to get their attention. But with proper planning and efforts extended, the move was completed seamlessly!

Description of Work: Used them twice in the same week. First my girlfriends place and then mine. The team we had was absolutely fantastic. I have moved many time in the military and this was the most professional and efficient move I have ever gone through. The crew definitely maximized the time. They worked quickly and carefully on our households and took great care in moving. Excellent. I literally can't say enough good things about them.

Description of Work: I only had them move a sleeper sofa and recliner from my home to my sister's home. I was so appreciative that they would do such a small task. The movers were awesome, prompt and careful with the furniture. I would highly recommend them and would use them for a whole house move.

Description of Work: They moved the contents of my 4-bedroom house in VA, including a baby grand piano, to a smaller house in PA. The foreman and movers were all excellent workers and well-trained. They arrived promptly to load and unload, and everything arrived safely and the piano got put back together and positioned correctly. I had no complaints at all.

Description of Work: The movers showed up right on time. There were three of them and they did a fantastic job, from transporting all of my pre-packed boxes, to breaking down my furniture, to wrapping all of the furniture for the move. I loved that the coordinator itemized each and every item placed into the truck and that I have a manifest of all of those items. | |All of my home goods went into storage and the warehouse coordinator called me to tell me that they'd been put into 5 crates, rather than the 7 that had been quoted. Saved me quite a bit of money, that! | |I'm hoping that I get the same crew for my move in as the move out, as they were all courteous, professional and hardworking.

Description of Work: Moved furniture around several rooms in my house and unpacked a storage unit to load onto my brother's trailer. The crew showed up early, was very cooperative and professional, and went the extra mile to help my brother tie down the trailer with rope and tarps.
