The work completed by the workers was fine. They did show 5 hours late, but they were professional. My main concern was about the quote, it increased sustainably once work was completed

I actually hired them after looking at Angie’s list. They showed up on time. They were excellent with the quote. They were very close to the estimate working on time and on cost. They did a really good job. They did a pretty good move. They called me couple of days before just to confirm. They were actually late but they called and informed that they were running late due to some other client and that was good. They did a very good service.

Could not have been more pleased with the services provided. Great experience from getting the quote, to scheduling to doing the move. The truck and crew arrived on time, professional and took extreme care during the move. They moved me from a second floor walkup apartment to a townhouse. Finished the move within my personal estimate of time. This is the second time I have used them and would use them again

Very happy with two guys. Very friendly on the phone, easy to work with. Agreed to start early to account for elevator schedule in my old apartment. Showed up a few minutes late, but brought 3 guys instead of 2. They moved everything out in an hour - all safely. Everything was moved into the new house and put exactly where requested - it was the fastest move I have ever experienced. Would use again, and recommend for anyone. Mike

Received a prompt, courteous reply. Ended up going with another mover, but was very impressed with this organization's attention to customer service.

We were completely satisfied with their work. They were on time. They packed things up well and moved things well. They were courteous enough. There was one thing that kind of stood out at the end. It doesn't say much about the company, but about one of the employees. They were about to pull away from our new house and we had a huge big fall of plastic that you wrap around furniture and he threw it in the woods across the street from our house. My husband was like don't do that. We didn't make a big deal about it because some companies have employees that have different cultures and didn't grow up around here but that was something that we remembered. Otherwise they were very good. They seem to be very reasonable. We would use them again in the future.

Called Two Guys and a Truck on short notice over the Christmas/New Years holiday when many other companies were closed, very happy I could book their services for a few hours that week as I needed to clear out by December 31st. Two guys showed up with their truck on time and got right to work, loaded and unloaded all my boxes very efficiently, they did a great job!

The two movers showed up about 30 minutes late, but got to work right away. I explained what needed to be moved and they got straight to work. They made the most of their dollies, moving many boxes at a time into the elevator and out on to the truck. They did a good job of wrapping furniture with mover's wrap to keep various components together and the prevent scratching. With one of the building's elevators reserved exclusively for my move, they completed the move out in 2-3 hours, a bit longer than I expected, but not unreasonable. I was able to clean as they moved my things, which helped make the most of my time. I provided directions for the storage facility and departed separately. They arrived within 30 minutes. My only direction was to try to keep the TV and the sofa -- which I would need to move in first -- at the front of the storage unit. I then departed with their promise to call me once they were nearly complete. About three hours later, I returned to find them moving the last of the items. With everything already wrapped and no obstructions, this took longer than I expected, and ultimately the sofa ended up in the back of the storage unit behind most of my belongings. To be fair, I was not present to see if they encountered difficulties fitting my one-bedroom apartment worth of belongings into a storage unit the size of a single car garage. Though much of my belongings remain in storage and I have not verified the status of everything packed in boxes, no furniture was damaged and appeared to have been treated well. All in all, I was satisfied and gave both movers a good tip.

It was a good experience. My only disappointment was it took a bit longer and the price went up. That was not really about them though, it was part of the contract. I did not have any problems and nothing got broken during the move.

The prior review I listed here talked about an issue we had this company where damage occurred to our house during the move-in, we submitted our claims and contacted them numerous times, and did not receive a response or assistance. Note: this was all an issue with the follow up service - we had no complaints about the actual movers, they just made an innocent mistake puncturing the drywall with a couch leg and were apologetic and courteous about it. So we stated that we would not use them again or recommend them, and gave them a couple of "F" grades. However, since then a manager got in touch with us and made it right. They sent a repair person out to fix the damage at no extra cost to us, and he did a nice job. So, in all fairness, I'm amending the review here - we would be willing to use them again. The movers were on time and worked hard all day on one of the hottest days of the year, and when we finally talked to the right manager he was helpful and got the repairman in touch with us the next business day. I guess my only reservation is how long it all took to resolve, but overall I would now say we had a positive experience.

Two Guys and a Truck was very prompt and provided an estimate after hours to accommodate my schedule. We decided to go with another company, however they followed up with a refund within 14 business days for the down payment I provided.

I originally had a problem with this mover. A representative of 2 Guys and a Truck contacted me after reading my negative review. Actions have been made by the company and I am completely satisfied with my move.

Estimator was on time and had great advice about what materials we would need to pack oursleves. The crew was on time, polite and went above and beyond what we expected. We have moved all over the world and seen good and not so good. These guys were great! Everything arrived safely and was put exactly where we wanted. The whole crew worked at break neck speed and finished in great time which saved us money since you pay for the crew and trucks by the hour.

After hearing so many horror stories about moving companies, I had the absolute best experience with this company. From the initial phone contact, everyone associated with this company was friendly, helpful, and professional. On the day of the move, I was told the movers would be at my house between 8-9 am. The two movers showed up promptly at 8:00 am. Jorge and William worked without a break for 4 straight hours, and treated my belongings with great care. I was especially concerned about a couple of larger pieces of furniture with beveled glass, and they handled them beautifully. They also were very careful about not hitting the walls when taking things out of the house. When they unloaded the items to the self-storage unit, they made the best use of space to ensure everything fit, but without damaging any of the items. I just can't say enough good things about this company, and especially the two young men who did the work for me. This was a very positive experience from beginning to end, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Excellent. They started with a tour of the house so that all of them (six) knew what was to be moved, then they worked very quickly to get things loaded. They took care to protect our floors and they carefully wrapped the furniture pieces. They worked so quickly they came in under budget which was already quite competitive. There were only a few dings (expected) in the stairwell as they worked very hard to be careful with the larger pieces.

They were running a little bit late but they sent extra people and they got it done very well. They were young military guys and they were all very professional with ?yes sir? and ?yes ma?am.? I think the other move ran over time but they apologized profusely and did everything they could.

The workers (3) showed up at the friend's house before I could get there and were loading the washer and dryer, then the fridge! It was wonderful not to have to sit and wait for them to show up. Then they followed me to my old house to load up my belongings. They worked very hard and were willing to take a couple of items that I didn't plan for them to carry, they were patient with me. When we arrived at the new house, they were helpful and efficient, things got moved to the correct rooms as per the labels on the boxes. It was all done in 5 hours which was what I had hoped for. A very polite and professional crew!

Everyone we dealt with were very nice and professional. They provide free used boxes for pick-up which helps! They worked with me when my dates changed more than once. Movers were courteous, careful and very strong! Moving is expensive no matter how you slice it, but these guys helped put my mind at ease.

Outstanding experience!! Made phone reservation with Barry to reserve 3 guys and a 26-foot truck for a Saturday afternoon move. Based on description of what we wanted and how prepared we were (boxes already packed and large glass curio cabinets & dining room china hutch already bubble wrapped), he suggested 3 guys (versus 2; 1 to move boxes while 2 to move furniture) and that 3 hours (the minimum on a Saturday) would probably take care of it. Francisco and 2 guys called in advance of arriving. These guys were awesome! They knew just what they were doing and hustled to do it. They blanket wrapped the wood and/or glass furniture including the stuff already bubblewrapped for extra protection. They were polite, professional and quick! Would definitely use these folks again!

The whole experience went great - Dan and Havie were prompt, courteous, careful and FAST!! This is the 2nd time we have used 2 Men and a Truck from sterling, va and would definitely recommend their services to others!

They were about 30 minutes late and were not in much of a rush while moving. They estimated it would take 3 hours, but it took closer to 5. Thus, it cost much more than they quoted.

They were very fast, very efficient and very nice. The price they quoted was great. They were very very helpful. They were very patient and very nice.

(1) Company estimated 8-9 hrs with 6 men and 2 trucks for a total prices around $2700. Chose 2GT over competition due to price estimate. However, day of move was approximately 15 hrs, needed 3 trucks (so we had to unload 1 truck and send back), and cost over $4000. I realize that it was just an "estimate" but being off by 50% seems more like a low-ball scam. Plus we had packed and staged the boxes for ease of loading, took apart all required furniture. There was nothing for movers to due but wrap in blankets and load. Still took all day. Actual movers were very nice and we did have a lot of stuff, but estimator should have know better. Even the movers knew it would take more than 2 trucks and 6 men. (2) They offered free used boxes to help assist with the move and save money on buying boxes. However, had very few used boxes to use from their warehouse. So I had to buy anyways from local store (which had great prices). (3) Estimator provided good initial contact and communications, but after signing pretty much never returned any more phone calls. DO NOT CHOSE THIS COMPANY BASED ON ESTIMATE.

I gave this company a call and left my number. A few hours later someone called me back and we set up the date and time. The men arrived on time and they moved everything. Everything went smoothly.

They were very professional and did a great job. They wrapped all pieces so they would not get damaged, even pieces that I didn't feel really needed that kind of care. Nothing was lost, damaged or broken in the move. My only complaint was that the move took longer than I expected; since I paid by the hour the whole thing ended up costing me more money than I expected.
