Ivan's team does a great job - from the estimator to the actual painters. They were very receptive to suggestions and recommendations. Ivan's team is quick to respond and was quick to start the job. They even suggested weekend availability to complete the work. They did a great job cleaning up and making sure everything met the owners need. My wife and I have used them before on multiple jobs and we will continue to use and recommend them in the future. Thanks for a job well done.

The teams were very punctual and did a great job with regards to both time and quality of work. They always tidied, and cleaned up after themselves as well as if I had done so (which is saying a lot). I had gotten quotes from 6 different companies and their quote come in the lowest 2, but the quality was truly excellent. Ivan removed the cost of some paint that was not used but was initially included in his quote. We are going to be using them again to do remodel our bathroom!

We are fixing our home up to sell it, and our realtor recommended a fresh coat of paint. That seemed so superficial, but ok, the old pastel-colored walls did look tired so we brought Ivan and his team in. Let me tell you, it looks like a different house. Over the years we've gauged holes in the drywall hanging pictures and shelves. There was water damage on some of the ceilings and walls. There were lots of settling cracks along ceilings and in corners and under windows. Ivan's team showed up on time and got straight to work. They fixed EVERYTHING. They put down two coats of primer and paint, filled in every hole, took down and re-secured light fixtures and curtain rods and everything. They worked around our furniture and covered everything very carefully. They even proactively fixed things--they repaired two doors that were sticking in their frames and re-attached the bannisters on all the stairs, which had been poorly secured by the previous owner with drywall screws. They were supposed to be here 5 days, but they came back on the 6th day because they hadn't finished. They had actually put little pieces of blue tape everywhere to mark tiny spots on the white walls where they'd made final drywall repairs that needed to be painted over (without the tape I probably wouldn't have noticed). Such attention to detail and professionalism. I have an older home and I've worked with tons of contractors. This is the second time I've called on Ivan, and I'd bring these guys back in a second. I probably will for a final touch up after we move out.

Ivan and his team were very, punctual, sufficient and responsive in there work. Please beware, when Ivan say's the workers will arrive at 8AM, be ready to answer the door. Also, Ivan was always punctual and professional before and after first time visit. Ivan offered us many great remedy for our future renovations and presented top notch knowledge and quality when completing these home renovations. We are planning to work with Ivan and his team again for more home repairs, renovations and upgrades.

I solicited a number of bids, all coming in higher than expected. M&D's was one of the most reasonable, and had one of the earliest starting dates. Mr. Ivan came out to do the measurements himself, and ask a lot of questions. He also gave a lot of good advice concerning priming (which I chose to do myself), and came out several times to check on the progress of his crew. He was very flexible with scheduling, as we needed to account for multiple visits in order to complete the work. His crew members did a fantastic job, were punctual and had great attention to detail. The finished product was excellent, and they did a thorough job cleaning up. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

M&D repainted the interior of our home, remodeled our bathroom, and made repairs to a entryway trim that was rotted. They also added an interior French door and added architectural details to entry ways into the dinning room and living room. As always, they did a fantastic job and were adaptive to changes and added requirements.

PERFECT!!!!! Starting with the estimate, Ivan showed on time and provided sound advise for better and cost effective ways to do the remodeling. When Alex and his crew showed for the first day of work they were on time and spread protective covering over all my floors and carpets. In addition, they put up plastic covering any opening that might accumulate dust during the work process. At the end of the day they would clean the work area and take down any dust barriers they installed that day. Alex, is a true craftsman. Before tiling he would layout the work and make sure the pattern was what I wanted. As with any job there were challenges that would arise and Alex would discuss options to endure the job was to my specifications. Alex tiling skills are those of a true craftsman. He also installed and modified my plumbing. He also discovered that the original builder reversed the hot and cold water which he corrected at no additional charge. Every aspect of this job was perfection. There are not enough positive adjective to express their craftsmanship and professionalism. I plan to use Ivan in the fall for painting and crown molding. These people were some of the best we’ve had work on the house. They were out in a couple days and had the quote back the next day. Rain delayed the job start, but they went the extra with overtime to complete on schedule. The crews were a pleasure, while working efficiently.

We hired Ivan and his team to do a lot of remodeling and renovation on our house. The work they did covered the range from painting through to major bathroom remodeling. We are extremely pleased with the experience we had. The team was professional and courteous. They were responsive to requests for changes or accommodations to our schedule (we lived in the house throughout the renovation work). The quality of their workmanship was excellent; we were particularly impressed by their attention to detail. When our descriptions of work we wanted done were vague, Ivan made sure that he fully understood what we wanted before starting work. The work that M&D Home Repairs and Remodelling did for us touched almost every room in the house over the course of 3 months. We are happy with everything they did - there is not a single piece of workmanship that we can criticize. We highly recommend working with them.

This was a big deal purchase. I kind of give it an 8 or a B overall. The price turned out to be a little more expensive than I thought.

I highly recommend M&D Home Repairs and Remodeling. Ivan, the owner, gave me an estimate in a timely manner. He suggested that I start the work on Monday, so that there was no weekend in between.( very helpful) His workers were meticulous about repairing the ceiling and painting rooms. They were extremely neat and there was no dust or debris at the end of each day. All the work got done in four days as he said. The only exception was the installation of the ceiling fan- the electrician came early on the fifth morning at 7:30 am and was done by 9am. I appreciated that he steered me towards using paint that would be better for people with breathing issues (asthma). I hadn't even thought of this type of paint until he mentioned it. I plan on hiring M&D Home Repairs and Remodeling when I have other projects in the future. I highly recommend this company for handyman work and painting,

The work was fine but the problems were with scheduling. The job was rescheduled to accommodate the owners shift and paint crews. The work was originally scheduled to happen on Thursday and Friday but the owner requested that we switch to Friday and Saturday. He informed me on Friday that the crew would not be available then. We rescheduled again and I received an email at 9:20 pm on Friday evening that they would not be here over the weekend. I spoke with the owner at the end of the day on Friday from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm and had worked out a schedule that everyone agreed too.

The ceiling in second floor of my house was separating from the joists and needed to be securely reattached (cathedral ceiling height in some areas), patched and repainted. I also asked them to install crown molding in the areas of the house of greatest ceiling height. M&D made a very competitive offer, was able to provide a specific future date when they could do the repairs, and showed up on time. They worked diligently and completed the job in 2 1/2 workdays. They were extremely thorough, and went to great lengths to successfully contain and remove the dust generated from sanding the patched areas and to make sure no drippings from repainting the second floor ceiling fell on any furniture, rug or floor area anywhere in the house. I was very pleased with the entire process and the job they did.

I hired them to repair water damage to my ceiling. They found they would have extra time so they also painted several unrelated scuffs on my walls and staircase. Very pleased with their work.
