Ivan and his crew were quick, professional and on time. The entire process was completed within a week. The living room section was replaced and finished so that you can't even tell anything was done, including matching the paint color. They draped everything in plastic so there was very little mess to clean up. As we move forward renovating our home, M & D will be at the top of our list for any projects my wife and I can't handle.

The ceiling was completely restored and the quality of the work was outstanding. I will not hesitate to use M&D again. They were punctual, professional and pleasant. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Great! They were very thorough at removing the wallpaper paste to get a great service for applying the paint. Nice job overall. Ivan was very attentive to my scheduling needs and to any fixes that need to be done afterwards. The workers are kind, polite and do a great set up and clean up each day.

Edwin is a highly qualified craftsman, carpenter, drywaller and painter. He covered the entire area with plastic, no odor or dust went out to annoy the tenant. He worked diligently for 8 hours. His many skills enabled him to handle and repair the issues around the stained ceiling. The white ceiling looks great. I'm now seeing my home ceilings as dingy, dirty and old looking. We'll be back. The team that arrived were polite and professional. They were punctual and got the work done in a timely fashion. There were a couple of small communication issues more because I had never been through a renovation before but M&D worked with me and answered my questions. Sometimes there was a bit of a delay in getting responses but I always got my answers. The work was fantastic and I've already started a list of things that I'll call them about next year! M&D arrived on time the day of our appointment and brought 2 painters instead of just one, completing the job in half-the time (i.e. 2 painters for 4 hours vs. 1 painter for 8 hours). Their work was great and exactly what we would have expected. I would definitely recommend and hire them again.

Do not purchase this deal unless you want to wait over a month to get your work completed. I purchased the Painter for the Day at $299 deal, which I thought was a great deal, but two days later, I get an email telling me their first availability was not until after July 17, over a month! Also said, if that doesn't work for me to go request a refund from Angie's List, which I promptly did.

The quality of the job could not have been better. Beautiful and careful work and minimally intrusive given that I was home all of the time they were here. The only problem was an inaccurate estimate. The job would up costing me 20% more than I expected. However, the work that they omitted from the initial estimate had to be done. So I guess this is just what it cost.

Communication was prompt and thorough. I had no questions as to when they would arrive and what to expect. They arrived on time and completed all the jobs discussed plus one more that came up when they were on site. There were a couple of opportunities that came up along the way and I was consulted and suggested remediations were completed. Quality of work was good and professional grade. I would highly recommend them to others and will use again in the future.

Ivan's crew arrived 10 minutes earlier than the planned start time. I provided the paint, primer, caulking, wood filler and sand paper. The crew began the prep-work and soon began painting. Halfway through the day, the crew discovered that the end of the soffit was rotted out, as well as two boards that make up the rear bay window sill. I was made aware that there was wood rot damage by one of the painters. Ivan arrived and inspected the damage and gave me an estimate for the repair at an additional costs ($210-$220) for materials and labor to repair all wood rot damage. One of the painters was also a highly skilled carpenter, able to make the repairs within the same day. As I didn't have to hire another contractor to do the repairs, this was added value to me. The crew discovered that I had available materials on hand to repair the rotted wood, saving me additional costs. The final cost for repair of the rotted wood was only $90.00, which I consider very reasonable. Finally, I'm well pleased with the work performed by M&D, they did a great job! The exterior trim on my home looks really good. Thanks!

Everything was amazing, would hire them again. The painters were so thorough and meticulous in their work. They covered everything and their clean up was amazing. The bathroom updates were done really well, fast and careful. My only suggestion is that I wish the bathroom was cleaned up more post the completion of their project. (ie we found paint and sticky residue throughout our new sink top, so we have been trying to get that cleaned up. BUT I would hire again.

Ivan wrote very detailed estimates as requested and his workers showed up on time each day, were very friendly and pleasant, kept us informed, and cleaned up completely each day, even though it was a multi-day job! Unexpected convenience being able to use the kitchen each night even though we had work in progress! They did beautiful work and were happy to come back and do some touch ups we missed due to the change in lighting at different times of the day. Great people to work with. I will have them back again soon to complete more work.
