Smooth, two day job, completely clean afterwards.

The work they did was great! Can't see the seam where the ceiling was repaired, and the paint jobs look very good. The crew was on time the first day but not the second. They were very polite and professional, but did track a little paint onto throw rugs and the wood floor. They did their best to clean that up; they were also good at cleaning up after themselves in general.  I appreciated that they touched up a line where paint and darker woodwork came together to make it straight. Overall I was satisfied with the service for both quality and value. Will definitely use them again and got a quote on another project while they were at my house.

We bought a "big deal" for $500 which gave us 2 painters for an 8 hour day.  We provided the paint and brushes. They finished all but the walls/trim going up the stairs.  Because they didn't finish, we were able to pay half the amount of the big deal for one of the painters to come back and finish the work.  They were polite, prompt, and very neat with all the trim work.  My only "thing" was I really don't know how long the entire job should have taken.  Should 2 professional guys have been able to complete everything in 8 hours?  I don't know.  Overall, though, I still think $750 to paint everything probably was a good price and we were very happy with the end result.  They came when they said they'd come, they were precise in their trim work, they cleaned up well.  Ivan was always prompt in his email or phone responses.

They arrived on time and did a great job - they were very professional.  I actually had them do some additional work since they did such a great job on my foyer, cutting in shadow boxes and lots of trim work.  I would recommend these guys to any of my neighbors!

It went well. They came out and gave me an estimate and we decided to go with them. We scheduled it on the weekend but a major storm was coming up so they decided to come out 3 days early to fix the roof. They did the work so that we wouldn’t have a leak which we thought was very impressive. They didn’t start calling us for payment until after the originally scheduled day. They did a very good job. They were right on everything.

Service provider was called when they were on the way so we could be home to meet them.  Workers were punctual and quality of service was good.  They cleaned up when work was completed and we are satisfied with the quality of the work.  Would use them again.

A great job.  Deck had only been washed once in 15 years.  Looks much better - almost like it is washed on a regular basis.  Very happy with the results.

Was told to expect morning arrival and he showed up right at 10 am. Took a long time (which means thorough to me) to wash and rinse each deck. Moved all the furniture carefully.The decks look quite good. He was very professional. Great price and I'd definitely hire them again.

M%D power washed my deck, sanded where necessary, and applied sealer to exposed surfaces.  Additionally, torn screens on
the deck were replaced and a disused exterior light was removed at my request.  All work was satisfactory or excellent.  Some
scheduling problems were encountered, mainly a result of inclement weather, so that overall I would rate their efforts as largely
on schedule.  Quality of materials used was excellent, and Ivan and his crew were courteous, responsive and professional.
I would recomment use of M&D to others in need of similar services.

I had a minor communication problem with M&D Home Repairs during the days leading up to my service, but we nailed down a time for the service on the day it was to be performed.  The crew showed up at the time expected and went right to work.  I had purchased the "Angie's List Deal" for the Townhouse Siding Pressure Washing (due to an HOA write-up) and there was an additional charge of $15 over the $185 "Deal" for the Mildew Cleaner that was needed for my cleaning.  I asked the two workers if they could pressure wash my little Deck while they were here.  They charged an additional $100 for the Deck Pressure Washing.  All told, they were very professional and the outside of the Townhouse, including the Deck, has never looked better.  They even went over a problem section twice and cleaned a heavy mildew patch from the neighbor's Townhouse that was accessible from my Deck.  I would recommend M&D Home Repair and will likely have them back soon to perform some Interior Painting that I cannot access myself because of the height involved.

It went extremely well.  I contacted several firms on your list.  He was the first to respond with an estimate and time of delivery; that is, when he could clean and when he could seal deck.  Big plus.  Also, he told me what to expect if rain, et cet.  I was delighted to hear from him when rain was in the forecast and he had a date set for reschedule.  Very prompt.  He came and cleaned the deck himself.  Excellent job.  Moved the furniture on deck and set the date for the sealant.  This was done by a different person, who also was very efficient in calling and setting the time.  The deck was sealed wtihin a few days.  I am extremely happy with M&D and will use them again.  Also, I will let my neighbors know about what a great experience I had.

Everything went well. They understood my instructions and did just what I needed. They arrived at about 8am and left around 5pm.

Went better than expected.

It worked out just fine. It took one day for exactly two people. They provided the painters and supplies, we provided the paint. They put plastic down to keep paint off of the floors. They were very professional. We actually talked to them over the phone and told them what we were doing and told them we had paneling. They told us to get a different kid of paint than we originally planed. We chose them largely because of the big deal. It turned out very well.

We hired this company for a painter to come out for a day and help with wall repair and interior painting to get our home ready for new renters. The walls were really a mess and Marco, the painter, got right to work. By the time I had gone to a very close-by Home Depot for paint he had repaired most of the holes on a very large townhome. (a large amount of wall work was needed). He explained to me that it would need primer so as not to show under the final paint coat. I asked him if he could prime all the walls so that I could start painting some of the easier walls as it dried. He primed all the walls and stopped to open my supplies for me and get me all set up. I didn't ask him to do this, he just did so as a courtesy. When finished priming he started to paint some of the kitchen areas which I felt would be harder than the open walls. He painted twice as quickly as I did and it looked very good.
By the end of the day, I was quite exhausted and he saw what needed to be finished and very promptly and efficiently did so.
Marco was good spirited all day long and quite helpful and professional. The walls ended up looking great and I was very pleased.

Ivan was very responsive from the first time we contacted him until the very end.  He returned phone calls and emails promptly.  He provided an estimate on the first outing and honored the pricing.  The only hitch was that the fence soaked up more stain than he had anticipated and we don't believe that he could have foreseen that based on the condition of the fence.  We had to buy more stain for a second coat and we easily agreed on a price which was fair to both of us.  They were at our home when they said they were going to be there and they worked professionally, efficiently and quickly.  I would highly recommend Ivan if you need to get your deck or fence done.

Ivan and his crew were great...professional, reliable, skilled and reasonably priced. I received many quotes for the services I needed and Ivan was by far the most reasonable. Work was done in a timely manner and with a high standard. Ivan was even nice enough to offer touch-ups for anything that we might have noticed in the weeks after he performed the work.

The service was excellent. The owner came out and looked at our deck. He recommended some repairs to be made. He said the work could be done but it was not crucial. The deck was not bad enough to be treated the way I wanted it to be treated. So, instead, he repaired the issue where the door had a big draft. He said the storm door was installed incorrectly. He repaired that. He also recommended a place to buy a new door. He ordered it and installed it in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I continue to use his services.

We loved the service that we recieved from Ivan and his crew. Ivan was very professional and the workers were constantly working. They showed up on time every day and worked for the full 8 hrs. They cleaned everything once they were done. The level of service was excellent. They paint job was also excellent. We will for sure use them in the future.
