First I had difficulty getting a hold of him at all. We finally scheduled an appointment (I took time off work) which he did not show up for. When I called to inquire where he was, I was told he was still at another job and could we reschedule for the next day. I showed up from work today, expecting him to be there, and he has yet to show up or call me about our appoointment. He did not follow through on anything he promised.

When the deck was cleaned on April 30, it had been raining for several days and following the cleaning there were more rainy days. About 10 days later when the deck finally dried out, I could see long strips of grey throughout the deck. I contacted Ivan and he immediately returned my call and came out to take a look at the deck. He wasn't exactly sure why there were so many grey streaks, but he said he would clean the deck again. There was more rain, but on the very first dry day, Ivan and his helper were back at the house to clean the deck again. Then more rain...but as soon as the deck finally dried out it looked like new again. I couldn't ask for a better job. Each time they moved all the furniture and pots off the deck and then put everything back where it belonged. I highly recommend M & D Home Repairs and will call them the next time I need work done.

The Angie's List deal was for $129, which was a good deal for deck cleaning. The square footage of our deck exceeded the allowable amount covered by the deal, so we were charged an additional $52 for the overage. The appointment date was set up by email. They arrived while we were at work to clean the deck. They did a good job and followed up with me by email. All in all, a painless, efficient transaction. We were pleased.

He arrived even a bit ahead of time and got to work right away; discussed using a bleaching agent with me because my deck is trex and I went with his recommendation not to since it would whiten the gray color. I was concerned without the bleach he wouldn't have been able to get the deck clean but I was so wrong! It's the first time the deck has been thoroughly cleaned in several years and it looks like new -- the white trim and lattice gleam and the grays are spotless. As he was finishing up, I happened to look out the window and he was washing the glass doors to the deck, from all the grunge splashed by the cleaning. Outstanding; I will definitely use again.

We highly recommend M&D. We are currently compiling a list of repair/maintenance items that need attention, and look forward to working with them again.

First and foremost, the company principal kept in excellent contact via email to confirm dates and times. Secondly, they showed up exactly on time - WOW! Thirdly they went to work and worked the whole time accomplishing the goal of a clean deck. There are no gotcha's to this story - it went like clock work. I paid extra for stairs but, they told me up front the charge and it was reasonable. We plan on using them again for possible painting.

Spoke to Ivan prior to purchasing coupon to make sure I understood what was being offered. Very professional and he made sure he understood what I was looking for. I purchased the coupon and an appointment was scheduled for Saturday, March 31. He called prior to scheduled time to let me know he was running late due to the additional requests on the early morning job. He estimated 45 minutes but he actually arrived before that. Upon arrival he went over everything again to make sure we were on the same page. Ivan proceeded to power wash the house siding and deck. Both look brand new. He did a fantastic job. After he was done he reviewed everything with me to make sure I was happy with the end results. I was. Ivan also provided some professional advice regarding the staining and sealing of the deck as I was going to do this myself. He definitely knows and enjoys what he does. I would absolutely hire him again.

Everything went very well. The team arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Very pleasant staff and a very thorough job.

For the past six months, I have been using M&D Home Repairs for all my projects because they are reliable, with very reasonable rates, and the quality of their work is great. I first used them because of the special they had and have been using them ever since. Ivan provides good estimates (I had problems with other contractors who always adjusted their estimates in the middle of the project) and he goes over all the work when completed. He points out problem areas (I have an older home with lots of quirks) and his men will fix items that I notice before they leave. When I want to do little projects myself (paint trim, install shoe molding, etc.), Ivan provides helpful hints for me. He is punctual and very friendly.

Working with them was a very pleasant experience. We set up everything using email. They arrived exactly on time. We walked through the project before they started. We have a screened-in porch that we did not want power-washed and he made double sure we were going to be OK with the spray that was going to get in there. It had been years since our deck had been cleaned and I mentioned our willingness to agree to a surcharge if he felt that it was over-the-top but he graciously declined. They simply worked away without fanfare, got the job done and everything looks great! Will definitely use this company again, very good experience.

I had Ivan install a backsplash in my kitchen. He was incredibly prompt in replying to my inquiries, and very flexible in terms of availability to come on dates that worked for me. He arrived when he said he would, did a meticulous installation job, and was very careful and respectful about cleaning up when he was finished (very important to me.) I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for other jobs, and would highly recommend his services.

The service we received was outstanding. We will definately use him again for other jobs around our house - I just need to get my list together!! ;-) The price was right, the final outcome of the job was fabulous!! He is honest and hard working and I would recommend thsi company to everyone.

Ivan and Regan with the company arrived on time. They were friendly, polite and professional. I will keep having them back because they so such a good job.

Ivan Mora is the owner. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and very responsive. His crew was also very nice. Overall, they did a nice job. They were punctual and took care to clean up. A couple of the items such as painting the columns outside and staining the wood panels took a little longer to complete because of the heat and weather but Ivan followed up. He was unable to fix the rail lamp head because the part is no longer made but he came up with a solution to balance the remaining lights. Ivan is very intent on providing good customer service and several times stressed he wants to make sure we are happy.
