Everything was delivered as promised.

They power washed a pathway in my back yard to make up for the square footage because my deck was too large. The deal was a bit deceiving because I thought I was going to get my deck power washed but they said their deal didn't extend to hat amount of square footage but the power washing of my pathway was good. I didn't spend anything other than the cost of the deal. They contacted me and chased me to schedule it so that was good.

Marcos and Luis did a wonderful job. They were on time, were prompt on the estimate and cleaned up after themselves. They even fixed a few holes in 3 places in a different room while the paint was drying. This was above and beyond what we expected, I would highly recommend them and we will use them in the future.

M&D Home Repair were very easy to work with. Due to a busy work shedule, I communicated with them primarily via email. Ivan came by the day before to review the project and discuss the deals of the good buy: 1 man for two 8 hr days, or 2 men for one 8 hr day. Also, I had uncovered a bad patch in the ceiling and Ivan said his crew could fix it - I just had to buy the drywall to repair the resulting large hole (they fixed this bad patch on day 1). Initially, I thought it would be a snap to paint my new (old) house; however, I underestimated just how "thirsty" the drywall would be, nor how much prep work it would take to cover up darkly pigmented, poor quality paint the previous owners had used. (Note to homeowners: if choosing a paint color for a house with minimal natural light and non-existent light fixtures, do NOT paint your walls a dark color and then go with super glossy walls in a paltry attempt to reflect any available light). I ended up purchasing another day of painting. On the first day of work, 2 employees showed up. Only one spoke English, so there was some language barriers. Ivan showed up initially too and helped clarify things. Their prep took a long time. I had prepped the walls by filling in picture holes (so I was frustrated that it took a long time), but they found additional dimples and previous painting goofs and drips that needed additional prep. Plus, those darn shiny walls - the old paint was so cheap and difficult to paint over - even with good quality primer - that I had to use a deglosser the night before to wash the walls down, and then they had to vigorously sand the walls, and then I wiped them down again. Their prep work did pay off - the walls looked great when they were finished! In the end, trim was painted twice, ceilings were painted 2-3 times, and walls were painted approx 3-4 times (2 coats of primer). We went through a lot of paint. I would use M&D Home Repair again.

The vendor was responsive and help us set up an appointment and move the appointment to a later date when something came up for us. But then after our second correspondence, they outlined all of the things we would have to supply including plaster compound and tape, which the vendor for our previous Angie's List Big Deal had provided. My husband and I then discussed his concern that the work we have won't get done because there's a time limit of 16 man hours, and there's no incentive for the workers to work quickly. We'd rather have a company come by, show them the work that needs to be done, and then get a quote.

They did an outstanding job! The team was prompt, friendly, and diligent. We've received many compliments from our neighbors on the work completed. Ivan was very responsive and easy to get hold of when we needed to confirm details. From the initial meeting to the completion of the work, we were very pleased with the overall project and the work completed.

I thought the quality of work was decent, not great and not poor. But, I didn't think the provider did a good job of letting me know up front what the extra costs were or that they did a good enough job of accounting for their crews hours. I wouldn't use them again -- too much competition to for average work at a higher than average price.

All went very well. Two workers arrived on time and worked continuously, with a short lunch break, until the job was done. They were very courteous and professional and cleaned up the area very good at the end. My walls look good and will be painted after some remodeling is done. They did a great job!

We love our new bathroom! We had Ivan and Alex replace everything in our 1993 bathroom. All of the work (painting, tiling, installation) is very high quality. Everything was done professionally, courteously and was a good value. They built a wall to expand the shower and leave us space for a new linen closet. We have a new recessed light in the shower too. We are so appreciative!

It went GREAT. They arrived on time. They worked efficiently. They really did a good job. Some areas needed some patch work and they did it very well. They cleaned well after themselves.

I found M&D via an Angie's List Deal for wallpaper removal. There were two men for 8 hours; I was just hoping they'd be able to remove all my wallpaper, but they accomplished so much more. During the time span, not only did they remove the wallpaper, but they also patched holes, primed the walls (twice) and painted the ceilings. These guys work fast and were professional. I recommend them.

M&D did a great job. The lines along the ceiling are very straight, they promptly cleaned up the area very well, and promptly responded to follow-up questions and requests. I would definitely use them again for interior painting. Overall a very positive experience.

The two men arrived on time, cleaned the areas to be painted, fixed the damaged railings and painted the deck and stairs. They worked diligently and completed all the work ahead of schedule. They were very polite and professional. They did an outstanding job. The deck looks like new.

The provider came at the time that we made the appointment for. He brought all the necessary equipment, explained what he was going to do, and did the job thoroughly and professionally. He discussed possible stains to put on the deck once it was dry, gave me information on purchasing the stain at a discount that his business has with hardware stores, and will return in 3-4 days to apply the stain that I purchase. In addition to cleaning the deck, he also power washed a very old picnic table that was sitting on the deck and that had acquired a certain amount of mold, at no extra charge.

I purchased a big deal from them but they do not service my area.

Ivan and his team arrived on time and immediately began work as requested. HIs team were respectful of my environment and quite professional with their work. All of the wallpaper was removed, the walls prepped and were painted with a base coat as was the kitchen ceiling. All work was done in a timely manner and I will again hire M&D to complete similar work in my home.

The workers came on time for 2 days and carefully laid down clean floor mats to cover stirs and foyer. The worked efficiently and both rooms were beautifully finished in 2 days. They cleaned up very nicely. I would recommend them highly.

We were not in the provider's service area.

Got everything done I expected and a bit more through a big deal I purchased.
