They were extremely responsive and very flexible with scheduling the work. I bought the big deal for 16 hrs of labor for $499. The basement is large with very heavy weight lifting equipment. We were unable to move a lot of it, so the guys worked around them. They were very professional and friendly. I am very pleased with how the room looks and will definitely use them in the future!

Less than 24hrs before the work was to be performed, we received notification that they did not service our area. When we scheduled the appointment/work to be done, this was never mentioned. They gave us a full refund so we could find another service company but the fact that they scheduled the appointment with us and we took off time from

I bought the Angie's big deal for $499 for 16 hours of drywall and painting. There were 3 painters there in the morning and they were meticulous with their plastic sheeting and made sure to cover everything and tape. They even did some drywall repairs along the way. I was very impressed with how professional they were and they consulted me before doing any repair work even though they didn't charge me for it--I think it was part of the big deal.

The painters arrived on time and from the moment they entered our home they were extremely conscious of keeping everything clean. They placed plastic sheeting to protect the floors and carpet; from the front door up the staircase and into the master bathroom on the second floor. In the bathroom my wife and I had done preliminary repair work removing wall paper and patching dry wall where old lighting fixtures had been installed and holes from relocated hardware. The painters came in and did an excellent job with the finish work; they repaired the drywall where a new skylight had been installed as well as popped studs, sanded all the walls and ceiling and finished what we had done so that none of the patched areas showed. They were extremely efficient, all the patches were primed and each surface received 2 coats of paint and caulk at the seams where needed. If this weren't enough because we had the high gloss paint they also completed all the trim pieces. Lastly, on the second floor landing there were two speakers that were installed in the ceiling but no longer worked; I asked if they could be removed and that the resulting holes be filled in with drywall and spackle so that at a later date we could paint the entry hall. They completed everything and based on the quality of the work I sent Ivan an e-mail to have them come back to work on the entryway ceiling (this is a two-story entry way with crown molding). This deal was phenomenal, we definitely got more than our money's worth.

We purchased an Angies' list deal and we are very happy that we did because we had the chance to work with Ivan and his team. The renovation of our half bath took a bit longer than we expected but it was worth to wait for. It was very nice to work with Ivan and his team, very respectful people. In addition, Ivan's suggestions were very helpful for us.

The work was excellent and the workers were fast, effective and professional. There were some additional costs that hadn't been made clear in the original offer though. I was under the impression I would only need to pay for the paint but also had to pay for some other supplies. Overall, however, it was worth it and the room looks great!

They did eveyrthing I asked and more. they cleaned up beautifully.

IMy walls had a lot of nicks and dents in them from some construction work/remodel. I had them come in to fix all the imperfections and put a fresh coat of paint on. It took a little while to find a date to do the work that worked for both of us, but once it was scheduled they communicated very well what I should provide and what they would provide. On the day of work they showed up on time, and did good prep work to cover all the carpet/tile/cabinets in the work area. They did a very good job at both the drywall repairs and at painting the room. It looks great. Thanks!

The painters were professional and handled most of the work properly. They even took care of a couple of other areas beyond what we initially intended since there was about an hour of time left. Overall, very good experience.

Very smooth from beginning to end. The office was very accommodating, as I had to change my appointment for painting. The painters were professional and did an excellent job. They did what we discussed and the job looks great. I would definitely use them again.

Hired them to remove wallpaper. But I don't believe they had much experience at wallpaper removal. My walls were left badly gouged and I had to hire someone else to come in and repair the walls before they could be painted.

Even though it was an Angie's List deal, coordinating and scheduling went smoothly and the company responded promptly to schedule. On the day of, the 2 painters arrived on time and did a great job. I would definitely use them again!

I purchased the $499 for 16 man hours. This is the 2nd time that I have used M&D. The previous homeowner had a daughter who clearly loved pink - the bedroom had pink walls and a painted heart border. The border and the baseboards were a dark, more "pepto bismol" pink. In addition, the hallway was painted wallpaper. The M&D crew arrived a bit early and stayed late to finish this job. While neither area was large, there was some difficulty getting the painted wallpaper removed. And, the pink definitely needed to be primed before the paint. The crew covered carpet and furniture and were efficient. This was a different crew than the first time I used M&D. While I think this 2nd crew was good, the first ones were a bit better. But, I am still satisfied with the work, and would use them again.

I purchased the $499 deal for 16 man hours. The job was to remove wallpaper in my living and dining rooms, repair any drywall issues, prime and paint the walls. The wallpaper was painted over by the previous homeowner, and while it was peeling in the corners, it was fairly well adhered and the paint made it difficult to remove. Since they were worried about the time to remove the wallpaper, M&D offered a second day for the same rate. It was a good thing, since it took them most of the day to get the paper down and repair the walls. They were able to finish priming, painting, and doing all of the trim on the second day. The crew was very polite, efficient, and took a lot of time to prep. They helped me move the furniture before and after. They cleaned up multiple times on both days and were very professional.

I had a few issues on my end but Ivan and his team worked through them with patience and professionalism. Wonderful!

Had two drywall/plaster techs for the day. They repaired a large number of cracks in plaster ceilings and a few drywall repairs. The crew did a fantastic job. One of the best contract jobs I have had done period!
