They arrived on-time, at 8 AM, each day. They protected all my furniture and window treatments before doing any sanding. At quitting time, 5 PM, they put as much furniture back in their original positions as I needed. All my walls are totally smooth & painted, without drips & drabs on floors. The trim on windows & doors look sharp. They even helped me move some furniture into the garage to get them out of the way. Even though I thought the price was a little steep, I absolutely LOVE the job they did. I'd use them again & would recommend them to any of my friends.

The work was excellent--the drywall work they did was impeccable, and the paint looks fantastic. The house looked beautiful when they were done--they even followed up several times to see if we needed touch up work or if anything was left undone. Our carpeters came in after they did and punched a hole and scratched some walls, and the painters came back the next saturday to make repairs. My main complaint was the professionalism--specifically, an understanding that we still needed to live in the house while they were painting and respect for our stuff. First, they did not communicate which rooms they would do on which days or their expectations of how much we would empty those rooms. They shoved furniture to the middle of all the rooms and left it there--we came home the first day and the only place to sit down was on our bed. They also broke our coffee table and our fire alarm and nearly ruined an oil painting by shoving it (along with a bunch of other stuff) into our recycle bin. I would use them again for a totally empty house, but not one I was still trying to use as a home.

I purchased a Big Deal for two painters for a day for $499. My kitchen has an eat-in/dining area, so the painters essentially painted two rooms in a day, which was an excellent value. I'm very pleased with the results; the quality of their work was outstanding. The painters arrived early, despite a morning snowstorm, and worked without stopping the entire day. They were very professional and clearly very experienced painters. I would definitely urge other Angie's List members to use this company.

It went very well. All work was done thoroughly and was very carefully done. The painters kept the work area clean and did an excellent job with the work.

Wonderful workers; On time, flexible, professional, GREAT work. I asked for their card because I plan to have them complete a tiling project that has been planned for years.

Communication was outstanding. Within 1-2 days of purchasing the big deal I was contacted by the company to schedule the appointment. In addition they provided helpful information regarding materials needed, which were very specific. On the date of service they arrived on time, did a quick walk through, and then got to work immediately. They were very professional and efficient. This was a great deal, and I would use this company again for future painting.

Mr. Mora came to my home and introduced me to his primary crew(Alex and Roddy). He always came and introduced me to a new crew before they started work on my house., including painters(luis) and electricians. Alex and Roddy were wonderful and their attention to detail was amazing. He would come and check on them from time to time, but they were very capable and had some great ideas. When I started my bath project, I assumed we could open the shower to 60"s the entire expanse of the wall, instead of leaving it a small 48" across. The bath was dark and in desperate need of an update. When the wall was opened that was not the case, but we quickly came up with an excellent solution and they made it possible. I bought all the materials for the project and the only thing not replaced was the toilet, which had already been replaced not long ago. I posted photos, it came out so gorgeous. They demolished the room, moved the plumping to the opposite wall, then put up all the new durarock, waterproofed, created the pan, tiled the new shower and floor, did moulding, replaced the vanity and sink(purchased from Home Depot but had problems with mounting the sink to the vanity top-poor quality brackets, but he had a granite guy that came out and took care of the problem that day), faucets,mirror, fan, lights and shower door. The shower has Carrera ceramic tile with a corner bench and niche, Carerra marble threshold at shower and door. Painted the room in a light grey with white white trim. I also had other projects around the house including changing the lights in the basement bath, bedroom and hallway. Painting basement bath and changing the shower head and shower doors in the basement bath. They did some tile repair around the shower head as the old hand held was attached and I had extra tiles fortunately to use. I changed the bath lights in another guest bath and they repaired the wall and painted. Again excellent workmanship and attention to detail. The electricians he sent in, were excellent and fast. They also replaced my outside lightbulbs and receptacles and timers for fans and timer for the outside floods as well as all of the light fixtures. I also replaced the laundry tub with a new laundry tub/cabinet combo in my laundry room on the first floor. They did an excellent job doing that and repaired the walls and painted the entire room. The painter crew he sent in was fantastic. I have several more projects to do in the near future if my toilet and sink ever arrive. I won't hesitate to call him as he was extremely professional and excellent. I can't say enough about Mr. Mora. I'm sorry I didn't post this any sooner, but this was my first opportunity.

I am very pleased with the work the Team performed. I found M&D through Angie's list and was looking for a conscientious group that would do an expert job in my home. I am very particular and detail oriented. When I called Mr. Ivan, he was very responsive. He came out the next day to give me an estimate for the job. He arrived on time and was very professional. He took his time to walk over my project and hear my needs. He was very helpful and went above and beyond by helping me sort through old paint cans and find the matches. We opened and tested many cans of paint to determine exactly what we needed for my job. He was careful and meticulous. I hired his team and they were able to get the entire job done in a day with 3 painters. They team was very neat and clean and kept the house tidy and out down lots of plastic and cover to protect our things. They were courteous and did a great job! I would definitely use them again.

THESE GUYS ABSOLUTELY ROCK!! I had contacted Ivan, the owner, after finding this company through Angie's list. He immediately returned my call and did a site visit within 24 hours to review the damage. Before leaving, he reserved possible dates to do the work just in case we selected his company for the work, which eventually we did. He immediately followed up that afternoon with an e-mail quote. We've had work done to our kitchen ceiling in previous years, so we sort of expected the typical patch 'n paint job. Not this time...Ivan and his crew arrived promptly on the morning he was to begin work. Within no time, they had completely covered all the walls and furniture before beginning the drywall work on the ceiling without us having to lift a finger. They also went the extra step to repair seams that appeared to be showing, presumably as a direct result of shotty work done from previous drywall repair work. During the entire 2-day job, the crew was courteous, professional, and conscientious of both the quality of their work as well as the well-being of our home. When the job was completed on the 2nd day, which was within the given time estimate, the ceiling looked absolutely fantastic, the paint matched perfectly, and there wasn't a single hint of a drywall seam. They even did an awesome job of cleaning up. If you have drywall repair that also requires painting, you need not look any further than Ivan and M&D Home Repairs & Remodeling. They are the best!

After we bought our Angie's List coupon for $499 (two men for 8 hours), M&D immediately contacted us via email to request dates and details of our project (yay!). We promptly replied, but received no confirmation for several days (bummer!), at which point I called, and M&D confirmed over the phone and then followed up with an email 24 hours later with detailed instructions on what to buy for the painters beyond paint, such as tape, rollers, etc. (yay!). M&D said they would purchase these items themselves for $65. (We chose to buy them ourselves). The painters arrived at 9AM on 11/24/14 (the email said they would arrive between 7:45 and 8:15 AM), and worked until 5:30 (having taken a half-hour lunch). The gentlemen were considerate, friendly, and upbeat (yay!). After stripping the wallpaper from our two walls, they noticed that MORE wallpaper and paint were underneath, changing our timeline dramatically. The painters' boss, Ivan, stopped by in the afternoon, and we discussed how many more hours the project would likely take and how much it would likely cost-- another 8 hours worth of work with 2 men ($499). This was very helpful (yay!). The two painters used chemicals (added $25) to remove ALL the wallpaper and old paint and patched up all the old holes. Hard work, but they made it seem easy (yay!). Ivan committed to a schedule over the phone that evening for the rest of the project, which was very helpful. Two more painters came back only in the morning of 11/26/2014 (day before T'giving) for 4 hours. The entire room needed to be compounded and left to dry, due to the damage the old wall paper made. Yikes. This is difficult work, but it looked great after they were done. On 12/1/2014, 2 painters came back for almost a full day to complete the final two coats of painting to the walls, ceilings, door, trim, and closet. They cleaned up everything, minus a few minor things. I think the the room looks great. (yay!). Despite it taking a little more time than we thought, Ivan charged me only $499 for another day's work past what the voucher covered, which was very nice. Hence the total of $1025 ($499 voucher + chemicals + $499). I would use them again definitely, but would probably just triple check whether the correct date/time was confirmed first. I appreciated their positive attitudes and quality work. Thanks, all!

Something came up and I had to cancel the service before it was performed.

It's pretty good. It didn't go over the big deal purchase. I used them before and they were pretty good. I used them again. I would use them again in the future. The person I talked to was very detail-oriented and he gives a lot of tips. They put the cover in the floor so paint wouldn't splash all over. They know what they're going to do and what needs to be done.

They were extremely professional. After buying their Angie List offer, they contacted me by email asking for preferred dates. We settled on a date and they told me what supplies I would need (by brand) and offered to sell me a package for a reasonable amount -- I choose to buy from them. They repaired numerous holes in 1 ceiling left by electricians, repaired a closet ceiling with water damage, repaired a wall with water damage, another ceiling with water damage and water spotting, repaired a wall and ceiling in the kitchen and closed in a new window all within the 16 man hours contracted. I was so happy with them, I brought them back for a second day at full price to finish some additional repairs, and sand, prime and paint the work they had done. The two workers (Carlos and Carlos) worked extremely hard and left the house as clean as when they walked in. A supervisor stopped in both days to ensure all was going as planned. I highly recommend this company and I am discussing additional work with them.

M&D sent two painters to my house for a day and I was really impressed by how much they accomplished in just one day and the quality of the work was excellent. They were on time and cleaned up after the job. I would definitely use them again.

From the estimate visit, the pre- job visit, and the job itself, everything was done professionally with excellence. The owner did the estimate and pre-job visits. He explained exactly what what would be repaired, painted and with how many coats and the types of paint that would be used. The estimate was exact and detailed, and included how many days the job would take. As a result, I had no surprises during the length of the job, which was five days in total. The two work men were on time each day and explained what would be done that particular day. They cleaned the work area at the end of each day. Throughout the entire process, the owner came to check on the job's progress. I would definitely use this company again, and have no hesitation recommending M&D Home Repairs!

I have used M & D twice now for paint jobs and been very happy with them. I found their pricing to be competitive and the quality of the work to be high. Their painters are pleasant and hardworking. I plan to hire them for future jobs.
