Ivan and team were wonderful. They were professional and efficient throughout the process. I could not have been more pleased with the work. Ivan has an eye for details. I now know what a bullnose edge and the bathroom and the shower niche is amazing with it. I will use the again for sure.

It went great. The painters were pleasant and professional, kept a low profile, provided ideas and advice when asked, went out of their way to make sure the job was done properly, did lots of small extras that added tremendous value to the overall service.

They were a pleasure to work with. It was a hard job, involving a sloped yard that's hard to work from ladders and a deck overdue for cleaning. Ivan came at the agreed-upon time to provide an estimate, which actually went down when they didn't need as much sealant as forecast. He was very easy to reach by phone and email and he coordinated the best timing for us to have this job done, because we wanted to be home even though that wasn't required. The workers, led by Rody, arrived on time, set up protective covers for adjacent areas, moved furniture from the deck, and spent two days carefully doing work that other providers had usually just slapped through in a couple hours. They treated it like a proper project. Other differences that set them apart: They applied the sealant with brushes rather than spraying, and this kept the product from getting on anything but deck; they left a few days in between cleaning and sealing so the wood would have a chance to dry; they came with all the 3-storey-high ladders they needed; they picked up everything when they left, and came back in another few days to move the heavy furniture back up the stairs to deck.

I purchased a coupon for 16 man hours of work for drywall repair, wallpaper Rommel and wallpaper hanging. I received a prompt reply that the company did not hang wallpaper (just removal) which would have been OK but they also told me I did not live in their service area even though my address is clearly within the service area shown on the map at the Angie's List site. It hey told me to contact Angie's List for. Refund. Very disappointing given their stellar ratings.

The crew arrived on time and discussed all details of the project with us prior to starting. They put down drop cloths from the front door to the areas to be painted and covered the furniture. They did an excellent job of prepping and painting and left everything clean and tidy when they were finished. Their work is flawless. I would give them an A+ in every category if I could. We will definitely use this provider again.

The manager and team were professional, did excellent prepping and the results are terrific. We would definitely use this service again. One caveat: We highly recommend that you get any estimate of the job IN WRITING--an email will do. We were all clear from the beginning that the project would take more than the 16 man hours from the Angie's List offer. After discussion, M&D estimated two additional days, but we did not actually discuss the number of labor hours per day (e.g. how many painters would show up per day--2 or 3?). In our case the final bill was much greater than our understanding from the initial discussion. We worked it out amicably, so that the final bill was more in line with our expectations. We learned from this experience that if you are not sure the Angie's offer will fully cover the work to be done, that you call the vendor and discuss before purchasing. .

I am a repeat customer of M&D and have been extremely pleased each time I have used them. Regarding the closets, we had another contractor botch the job and Ivan was able to get his crew there on very short notice to help, as we are putting our house on the market and have a very tight timetable. His crews are at once very professional and meticulous, while also being much faster than I was expecting. Each time I have used the crew they have exceeded my expectations both in speed and workmanship. While other crews I have used match the quality, few are as efficient. And with all of that, they do clean up after themselves on the job and never leave paint anywhere (e.g. floors, etc.). Ivan himself once came to inspect the work of the painters on the job. I have spoken to him several times on the phone and in person and he is extremely polite and courteous. Thank you again M&D for a job well done!

This was is far the best deck power washing service I have ever received. Interaction with the service provider was excellent and attention to detail and results were amazing. I would recommend them to anyone that needs their deck, house, patio power washed. Thanks so much!

Once again, outstanding service from Ivan and his team. Turned up on time and as scheduled. Cleared the deck and spent 5 hours cleaning it and all the railings and boarding. The deck is 12 years old but looks like new again!

My experience with this company was excellent. The company is small and directly owner operated. Ivan provides the cost estimates, planning suggestions for the job, and supervision of his workers. Ivan is calm, competent, and effective. He helped me with issues in getting the paint to cover correctly. Although I decided to change the scope of work after we started, I think that Ivan was fair in setting the additional charges for the work. The company does a range of home repairs and remodeling. I will definitely get quotes from M&D for more projects that I am currently planning.

I bought an Angie's List coupon for 2 painters for 8 hours of service. I could not recommend them more highly. Ivan came over and did my estimate himself, and he was extremely professional and courteous. The painting crew did excellent work, and they were extremely fast. They were extremely responsive to any phone calls or emails. This company is a gem and we are already scheduling more work with them.

The two painters were efficient, polite, and skilled. They stayed a little extra to get the work done. They were easy to talk to. The manager was responsive, especially during the big snowstorm in January. I recommend them highly.

Ivan and his team did a fantastic job. They arrived before i went to work and when i returned they were just finishing, if i had not seen the work that they had completed I would of never known they were in my home. They left everything so tidy each day when they left, not a spec of dust to be found. The quality of work was fantastic. I will definitely be using them again for future work.

They did most of the work 2 months before the final finish work because I needed linoleum installed in one half, and carpet in the other (they don't do flooring); so we had to wait for to do the final adjustment for the doors between sections and the trim until that was done. Also, there was one small area on the first floor that was missed in the first round where I had ripped the wall to fix plumbing they said they'd finish. After the first part was done, I paid them completely- there was little work left (and I could've done it) and I was right to trust 'em for it. Two months later they came back and finished it all very nicely indeed. Despite some starts and stops on MY part, and the flooring hiatus (not their fault at all) they did a great, professional job, and came back and made it really nice and neat in time for Thanksgiving, with no muss and no fuss. Ivan's a nice guy, and follows up to make sure the work is done well. I had absolutely no complaints, and the little bit that needed to be done after was more me than them, to be honest. Certainly recommend them for this type of work. I'm happy with the basement as it is now.

The painters arrived on time. I had all of the materials required. They were very professional and personable. I had a list of several projects to complete for the day. They told me what was feasible. I prioritized activities and by the end of the day all the work was done and it looked beautiful. The project manager was very helpful. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

These guys are awesome!! We have used M&D before and we'll use them again. You get a full 8-hour day from these guys. They did quite a bit of spackling, more than we realized we needed; they have good eyes. They painted two coats on the living room, foyer, and stairwell walls, two coats on the stairwell and hallway ceilings, and one coat on the hallway walls. They would have done two coats on the hallway, but ran out of time. In preparation, we moved all the small stuff and they moved the large furniture. They protected the house and furnishings very well, covering doorways, floors, and furniture with drop clothes. We have used this provider twice, had two different crews, and are very happy with their work and professionalism.

I communicated with Ivan via email to setup the job. He was very responsive in scheduling an appointment for the service and he provided a list of supplies needed for the work. The painter (regretfully I never caught his name) did a fantastic job. He showed up on time both days, asked all the right questions to make sure he understood the job, worked efficiently and skillfully, and was a perfectionist which is exactly what you want in a painter. He repaired and painted some pretty damaged wall that had previously been covered by wallpaper. We also had some pretty large cracks in our stairwell and upstairs hallway that were the result of settling (we have the lower 2 floors of a 4 story condo). He was able to repair the cracks and re-paint the walls so they looked as good as new. I am very pleased with the work.

Very good response from this company. They came arrived when they said they would and did even more than I expected. Drywall repairs in the garage from having to cut through old drywall due to a frozen pipe in the spring. MD Home repaired that section, included insulation and primed area (we did not schedule to have it repainted as we will have that done at a later date). They also repaired multiple other drywall spots in the garage and kitchen. Everything spotless and no junk left behind. 2 guys here today, both polite and friendly. Will definitely be using this company again for other services. Very pleased.

I used M&D Home Repairs & Remodeling LLC. They were here about a year ago. They're not that good at syncing up the schedules. The workers were good.

I purchased the big deal. I gave them a description of everything that needed to be done realizing that they probably wouldn't be able to accomplish everything in the time I wanted. I was really pleased. Ivan sent an email following up with the exact materials that were needed. The crew showed up on time and nearly finished everything on my list. They patched all the holes, painted the ceiling of the main room I wanted done and painted a bathroom. They did a great job and I am very pleased with what they did. You can't even notice where the holes were. I would definitely use them again.

Came in and gave a very thorough estimate. Immediately said it would take double the time that we applied for on Angies list, and it made sense. We were responsible for getting supplies, and they laid that out at the estimate appointment. The team came in and started working. The only issue we had was that on the second day, the painting team waited outside while we were working outside of the house. They had locked the door, and were waiting to be let in while we were working outside. Nobody approached us to ask to be let in. We don't normally lock the apartment when it's being worked on, as the apartment is attached to our home. An hour was wasted ... we also were not told that they were running out of paint, so the final room only had one coat, and needed a second. We didn't find out until they were gone, so we had to paint the final coat, or pay for more time. An inconvenience on our end that we would have paid for, if the hours they charged included the hour waiting for us to open the apartment. Probably a language barrier? But, over all we were happy with the detail and professional job.
