Description of Work: I had them come out 2x because they were such a good value and did the best job for the money. Each time they came out, they painted 2-3 rooms in our house. They were knowledgeable about the type of paint to use (painted bathrooms, bedrooms and dining room) and estimated how much paint they'd need so I didn't over-buy. They were clean and the job was excellent!

Description of Work: We had M & D remove wall covering in our powder room and paint the walls in our foyer, stairs, and second floor hall. Everything went well. The wall covering in the powder room was very difficult to remove and I understand that there was an excess amount of glue to scrape. This took a lot of their time. Given that challenge, the crew was still able to finish the painting in the same day with no additional charge. I have since finished the work in the bathroom and I am very pleased. I am very satisfied with the amount of work that they were able to complete in one day and I would definitely use them again in the future. |

Description of Work: I needed a ceiling patched and painted, hallways painted, the ceiling of a large attic bedroom painted and they had enough time left to paint my bedroom walls. They were fast, efficient and very helpful. I'd definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Powerwashed and sealed deck.

Description of Work: I bought the coupon for 2 painters for 8 hours work. I wanted to have my kitchen ceiling repainted and have the walls and trim in the adjacent family room repainted as well. Ivan was very accommodating about arranging a time that would coordinate w/the work I was having done in my kitchen. He explained the service and suggested what I should purchase (amt and type of paint(s), smoothing tools, rollers). The team arrived on time and after we discussed exactly what I wanted done they quickly set to work. I'd moved most of the furniture into the center of the room, but I have a very large entertainment cabinet that needed to be moved away from the wall -- which they did w/out complaint. They covered my hardwood floors w/drop cloths and taped plastic over my new kitchen cabinets and countertops to protect them from splatter. The team worked hard all day; I certainly feel I got good value from them and I'm quite pleased with the result. They weren't able to paint the trim around the windows because we couldn't figure out how to remove the blinds and they weren't comfortable trying to paint free-hand around them (it would've been too time consuming anyway). The could've been a little more careful (they didn't always use painters tape to protect crown and floor molding from wall paint, so there were a few little spots that weren't "perfect." -- I'm probably the only one who notices! There were also a few errant drips that I did have to clean off on the windows and a couple spots on the floor that they missed during clean-up. But I removed them w/out difficulty. All in all, a great job! I've already recommended them to a neighbor and will not hesitate to call on them for my future painting needs.

Description of Work: The provider is swamped with business, so we were unable to find a mutually agreeable time to do the work. I spoke with the owner who suggested that I could apply to Big Deal / Angie's List for a refund.

Description of Work: I scheduled the washing, had to delay due to rain. Needed to reschedule but couldn't find a time to schedule when the painter was available to stain. Found new provider that could power wash and stain the same day. Don't need the power wash anymore. M&D was very accommodating.

Description of Work: Replaced dining room ceiling. Tore down existing plaster ceiling which was cracking and sagging. Taped off the area and demolished exising ceiling. Hung new drywall ceiling, painted ceiling and walls and cleaned up after themselves. Performed the work over a three day period and showed up timely as promissed. Would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.
