Maid To Please

I have been using them for more than a year. They are very reliable and flexible. The cleaning is fairly thorough.

Maid To Please have been very good and very reliable. He is very flexible. If I have to change the date or make other changes he is very good about doing it for me. When I have a question about what I want the girls to be doing he will make sure they understand before coming what I want. He is pretty good. I like them. Sometimes I have had to check with them to make sure things were done and if they weren't I mention it to them. Other than that they have been good. In fact I sent in a review into them, because they asked for a review and I put down excellent. I'd give them As. It is a great price. I got it on a coupon and then we set up for them to come monthly. My apartment is small and I keep it very clean and uncluttered. It is very simple for them to clean and dust. He is very open minded and listens to what I have to say which is the most important thing. They have been fine. I think only one time somebody showed up later than planned, but it was an issue they had and I was home so I was fine with it. They are housekeepers and they do the best they can. They are very thorough in what they do. They have you look around before they checkout and if you have a problem they fix it. The biggest problem is language. They always send someone who speaks English and there is always one person in the group whose English is weaker. I like that they are not here all day long, they come in, and the get the work accomplished. I like that they send 3 people and get it done quickly and for that price.

The first time they came, it went well. Two weeks later, they called to say that only one person would be available to clean instead of the usual two. This meant that the time to clean would be 4 hours rather than 2. I said to just forget it for that time, as I couldn't take that much time for them (I didn't want to leave them in the house alone). But, at 10 the next morning, someone showed up. They didn't speak English so it was difficult to communicate with them and explain that I cancelled since it was just one person and would take too much time. The next time they were scheduled to come, they called the night before to confirm. They showed up over 2 hours after the window, so they were supposed to be there between 8 and 10, but showed up sometime after 12:30 (after I had gone). They left a note saying there had been an email issue. While I was waiting around for the extra two hours, I tried calling (they only have an answering machine on the weekends) and I also left an email. After four days, I still hadn't heard back from the company so I called to cancel the remaining appointments. When they didn't ask why, I offered up my reasons, and that was that.

UPDATE: After the earlier experience the manager contacted me immediately. We discussed the problem areas and he assigned a different team for future visits. Upon arriving home yesterday, I found the house to be cleaned very well and above expectations. Would recommend. ***************** So far, not pleased. Awaiting a call back and will access further at that time. At this time it, looks like they will be let go.

Overall, the cleaner was pleasant, thorough, professional and quick. I asked if she could vacuum my loveseat and she kindly obliged. There was only so much she could do because I had purchased a 2-hour special.

I purchased the Big Deal ($30 for $60 of cleaning service) from Angie's list, and submitted an online quote for the company to clean my 4 bedroom house. I received the quote immediately and was contacted by the company several days later to schedule an appointment. The process was very smooth and pleasant. The day before the cleaning, the company contacted me to confirm the appointment. Two maids arrived at my house at pre-specified time window, and started cleaning immediately. They were polite, efficient and professional. It took them about 1.5 h to clean my house including one bathroom, and half basement. I was impressed by how clean my house looked after the cleaning. I will recommend to use them again. Maybe next time I will choose to use environment friendly cleaning products.

I don't understand how y'all get them to even talk to you. I need a move-in cleaning. I emailed them 2 times and called 1 time. 1st time emailed them via their website - no response after 24 hours. Ok no problem. Then I called their NYC office. The lady at the other end of the line sounded very professional and gave me a quote. The quote was very reasonable. However she said their system was being upgraded, and will call me back after 30 minutes to schedule. It has been 5 days without a call. As an eager new customer, I am disappointed needless to say. You gave me a quote of $190 for the 950 sq ft apartment. I found out we do not need to submit insurance certificate to the management office. Please call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx to reschedule when your system has finished upgrades. Thank you." I have all email records. This is not a misunderstanding. Our correspondence ended with the company telling me they will call me after their system got back up. I even gave the company a benefit of doubt to send a friendly email. As a customer, I don't believe it is my job to pursue any harder for a company to take my business.

They are thorough, courteous, and professional. We get a phone call reminding us of when they are coming and are flexible to let us add additional one time services/cleaning as necessary.

Did very well--the showed up right in the middle of the time range they gave me with all necessary equipment. (11-12, showed up at 11:30). They thoroughly cleaned the apartment as requested. Would use again with no hesitation.

They arrived on time, cleaned, and left in under an hour.

Overall they did a good job. Will give them another try next month.

Their staff is very responsive. Answered my phone every time I called. I was given a call before the team arrived and was informed again before they finished so that I can go and check the apartment. Two staff showed up on time. It took them about 3 hours to clean the apartment. They did an excellent job with the clean. I'd use their service again and recommend them to friends.

We scheduled with them four days beforehand for this cleaning. They asked for a 3 hour window for when cleaners could come and I said 9-12. They said someone would call me the day before and let me know which hour of 9-12 they would come, for a 2.5-3.5 hour cleaning of my home. This call never happened. I called at 9 today to see when they would arrive and mention that I didn't get a call and got a machine, so I left a message. 15 minutes later I called back and got someone and I explained what had happened and he checked his schedule and said I had my house cleaned four days before....the very day I CALLED them to schedule a cleaning. I corrected him and then checked my credit card to make sure they didn't charge me wrongly and they didn't. I will keep an eye on it. They were not apologetic at all, but said they would call me right back with someone who can come clean for me today, that they will rearrange their schedule--I was clearly not on their current schedule. I waited 30 more minutes and didn't hear from them, so I called back and a woman answered who DEMANDED I was going to be cleaned today---again, not apologetic at all--and then said that the guy I had talked to earlier was "trying to find someone to come clean for me", meaning they were randomly cold-calling people on their cleaning roster? Not acceptable. I told her that they were fired and she DEMANDED--again---that they would clean my house today. I said 'no, you are FIRED' and she hung up on me. I'm going to keep an eye on my credit card for false charges. Taking the day to work at home to meet them really p***** me off when they stand you up. Don't count on professionalism or organization here, folks. I can only wonder how well the home would be cleaned..... See second update above, they made up for this issue and I would recommend them now.

They are very thorough. They always come on time. They are very professional.

I liked that they came on time and did everything that I had asked. In total they worked for 2 hours and 15 minutes and I was very pleased with them.

I have been using their service for the past ten years. They are excellent. I would use them again in the future.

They did an alright job cleaning the bathrooms but that was about it. They did not vaccum under the couch, the beds, or any of the furniture. They did not fold the clothes. And they left three trash bags of trash in my house and didnt even offer to take to the dumpster downstairs. In a lot of places my hardwood floors felt sticky which is especially weird since they are waxed. If you need a very last minute clean of your bathrooms for a party than I suppose they are fine, but I would not use them for anything else.

I have been using this company for over 3 months now and am extremely satisfied with their service. Have recommended them to a few friends as well. They are usually on time and always very courteous and professional. A couple of times I had to change the schedule and they were very receptive to that and were able to reschedule without any hassles. Planning on continuing to use them in the future.

Kitchen sink remained dirty, counter tops not cleaned (knife block) and toaster not moved, dust crumbs underneath and along back. Had to remind worker to vacuum utility room. Wood floors dusted, runner not moved, only cleaned floor around it and wet bowl in basement not cleaned. Quality / attention to detail severely lacking most employers that move here do not speak English. I asked for a "re-do" of the kitchen counters and to vacuum stairs (not done first time) this was scheduled in a email but I received 3 different emails each with a different time to expect the teams arrival. Poor co-ordination in the office, the team then showed up 30 minutes before the earliest time given in one of the emails, not professionally done. I do not expect perfection, but basic cleaning must be done.

Three ladies showed up and went right to work, they did an excellent job and the house even smelled great when they done! I'd use them again, I was very satisfied.

Great job calling day before and letting me know when they will arrive, which is always within their one-hour window. Price charged is less than private individuals charged. Quality is very good. Even when they miss something, they are very responsive to feedback and make quick corrections. They send 2 people who really spend their time cleaning, not talking. They bring their own materials, but are fine If you want them to use yours.

They were on time and very thorough. I did not like their price, and they ended up cracking a mirror. I would not use them again in the future.

I also used them a month or so ago in July or August 2011. They are easy to schedule without much notice and they come. They are thorough and they do a good job with the cleaning.

Our experience with them was fantastic. We were moving out of our apartment and were going to be out of town, so they came in and cleaned the apartment. The billing had raving reviews about the cleanliness of our apartment, so we were very pleased with them. They were easy to work with and reasonably priced. We would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future if necessary.
