Good - only one spot that should have been dusted was missed.

Workers are efficient and friendly. Some areas of cleaning need improvement ie moving small items from floors for vacuuming.

It could of gone better. The cleaned the bathrooms upstairs and the powder room on the main floor which were great!! They vacuumed the top and main floor which the did a great pattern. When it came to the kitchen they were not great at all. They were scheduled to come back and were a no show AFTER I PAID!! When they did come back they jus wiped the counter and I ended up doing it muself

Awful. The communication workflow is ridiculous. The customer service rep that you end up actually working with at 703-823-1726 was half asleep both times I called and had to tackle her. NO estimate of time for arrival was given. I was told to call back and get it, and no one was available to take the call. I was quoted $300 for this cleaning, including window details (no blinds). We were overly cautious to be transparent about the work that needed to be done, the room spaces, bathrooms and bedrooms and detailing the flooring throughout - 1800 sq ft. We were never asked about the colour of our furniture or floors nor informed this could indicate an upgraded fee -- I've NEVER had to report such a thing for a cleaning estimate and I've never heard of a fee for cleaning dark toned floors vs. light toned floors. They arrived unannounced middle of the day. I was not provided a notice of any sort other than confirming the date when I booked the appointment. 1.5 hrs into the work, I received a call from the office asking for $75 MORE because I "have black floors and black furniture" - I do not. I inquired if they would confirm they do LESS of a clean on lighter toned floors and was told that wasn't the implication of the call -- but that I had to pay $75 more for the quality of work they want to deliver on. This indicates a 25% increase over the quoted estimate, to accommodate the statement that "you have darker floors so they require us to clean them more." Unacceptable. The representative went on to state that they clean all floors equally, regardless of colour, but that I still had to pay for an extra hour of time. I was offered a $25 coupon in light of the day-of change. I will not be continuing service with this company. This is just a ridiculous way to make an extra few bucks and not the sort of relationship I'd like to build. The women who did the actual work were very kind and did great work. I hope they find a better employer in the future.

The ladies do I wonderful job. If there is something that they forgot to do or that I want them to do in the future, I get emailed a feedback card after every cleaning. And they are sure to do whatever it is I need them to on the next visit. The communication between the office and myself is amazing. I have tried to use other cleaning companies and none do that wonderful "clean green" job that Maid Brigade does.

They are awesome! I have been using their services since the summer of 2013. The ladies who come out are so nice. They always arrive on time as scheduled. They provide their own green cleaning supplies, but they will use your products if you leave them out. They do whatever chore that I ask of them without any trouble. They clean my home better than I could have ever cleaned. They really go above and beyond what I was expecting.

I have had my house cleaned many times but working with the franchise of Maid brigade was so fabulous. I was given a quote over the phone based on my description. the girls showed up and went to work exactly when we had appointment booked. The finished and called the office with final details and the final invoice ended up being less than quoted....when does that ever happen, everyone always wants to add charges. Misti in the office did a follow up call to check on the service. I work in the home improvement field and now utilize their services on the properties in their area and refer them to friends. We have recently moved out of their service area and using different franchise that does a good cleaning as expected but just doesn't have the customer service and follow up of this office.

We used this company for approximately three years and have recently cancelled this service. Pros: --We really liked the green aspects of the cleaning and that they do not use harsh chemicals. --On most occasions the cleaning itself was satisfactory. --They bring their own cleaning supplies and vacuum. --The company was responsive to most complaints, switching us to a different team upon our request and in some cases compensating us for damages. Cons: --We experienced damages on multiple occasions including: ----When their vacuum cleaner broke they went into our unfinished basement - an area off limits - found our vacuum, used it and then had an accident which left the vacuum broken into several pieces. ----Baseboards and the base of wooden furniture have been dinged throughout the house. ----Various irreplaceable items - including some made of stone - were broken. ----A large light bulb from the kitchen light fixture was broken. ----The stainless steel refrigerator was dented. --The cleaners dumped out the vacuum canister in our front yard on one occasion. --The cleaner threw her cigarette butt in my front flowerbed once as I watched from inside. --When I was present the banging and crashing - both vacuuming and moving our belongings around for dusting - made me wince. --They can't tell you in what time window they are arriving and it varied widely, which was inconvenient on days when we were home. We realize no one will take care of your home the way you would and because the cleaning was generally satisfactory we tried to give the benefit of the doubt and understand the damages were accidental. After we complained about the dent in the refrigerator and cancelled the service we were refunded the cost of the last cleaning.

I have used them for nearly 10 years. They always do a great job, are very accomodating of my requests when I make them, and are flexible in regards to scheduling. I appreciate that they let me know when things break and when my cleaning supplies run low.

Overall, we have been satisfied with their services over the two years that we have been using the company. They usually send the same crew each time. Furthermore, they have broken items on a couple occasions, but they have been very responsive in making reparations.

Everything is going well thus far. We have no problems with their service.

They always do a good job, and they don't require supervision.

They are always timely and do a very good job. Furthermore, they have been accomodating of my requests since I recently fell ill.

I find them to be very good. They were the 3rd ones I tried, and I kept them. I had a particular time of day I wanted them to come and they do that. They were flexible in working with my schedule. Also, I get the same crew each time and that was important to me. If I have ever have a problem, they are quick to resolve it and I appreciate that. If there is a complaint, a supervisor visits the next time and makes sure that we are happy and that they follow through the changes. They are very responsive! When you find someone who is really going to clean, doesn’t forget the corners, windows sills or little spaces, then you want to stick with them! They do great top-down cleaning!

I see them every three weeks. This has been going on for several years. They are very quiet. The two women do not speak English fluently and communications are not easy; however, any clarification needed could certainly be achieved through a telephone call to their headquarters. The house is always left neat and clean. If something more needs doing, one can always ask them to tend to it before they leave. We are always here during their visit (although that is probably unnecessary). Their quiet work is amazing! We stay out of the way--and when they get to where we have perched, we move to a room already done. At the end, one of them calls, "Finished." At that point I am probably supposed to take a quick look around and check on any missed spot; I find that totally unnecessary and too much bother. They have never failed to please me.

I am very pleased with their service. It has been very good. Two people come out every two weeks for the cleaning.

I have used them for over 6 years. We have no complaints. Everything has gone well and they are always available if you have any questions.

They were on time and they finished on time.

We were very happy with the service that Maid Brigade provided and they did an excellent job of cleaning my home. I had a slight problem with the fact that showed up to the house later and later each time they came which was inconvenient for my infant's nap time, however our biggest issue with Maid Brigade is that on two consecutive visits, a bottle of wine each time disappeared from a wine rack. Since we have no actual evidence that they took it, we did not accuse them of taking the bottles, but we are not drinkers (the bottles actually had dust on them) and rarely have visitors to the house, so the timing was uncanny. Throughout this episode Maid Brigade was very professional, but ultimately some things cannot be undone or unsaid, and we were not comfortable with continuing the service. A maid service has full access to your home and so it is a very intimate thing, so when something like this occurs, it feels like a violation. From that perspective, it was very disappointing. This was our first experience with a maid service and will likely be our last.

Another very short-notice request for Maid Brigade services and another time where I was not disappointed. Provided brief run-down of what I needed done and then the team was off and running. A few hours later and the house was just were I wanted it to be! Professional cleaning and an extremely accommodating office is what you get with Maid Brigade. --------------------------- Original recommendation from 4/13: Needed full house cleaning on extremely short notice. Found my way to Maid Brigade and put in a call. From the first contact via the main number I found them to be extremely professional and accommodating. I received a prompt follow-up call and they were able to determine on the spot that they would indeed be able to help me the next day and provided all pre-appointment documentation. Two ladies arrived just minutes from estimated start time and immediately got to work. This was their first time here so they gave everything a good clean and happily accommodated a few requests. It was nice not to have to worry about any cleaning materials b/c they arrive w/everything they need. The cleaning level was pretty much what I expected but the customer service (ease of scheduling appointment, follow-up, etc.) exceeded expectations.

The Maid Brigade came for their second week today. Since they sent two different ladies I was initially concerned, but the standard of cleaning was better than my first cleaning. If I could give this company a grade higher than an A I would. Thank you, Maid Brigade!

I want to clarify that the $222.00 I spent on Maid Brigade was for an initial cleaning. After this cleaning the price will be $108.00 per cleaning.Maid Brigade sent two cleaning ladies. Both spoke English. They were very professional and began cleaning as soon as they arrived. They cleaned all the areas I contracted for in the amount of time I paid for. The house looks great and is very clean. Before leaving they asked me to look at all areas they cleaned to insure they had done what I wanted them to do. All in all this was a great experience. UPDATE: 11/6/12: I have used this service for a year. Unfortunately I had to discontinue this service. The teams sent did not clean well. For the past eight weeks I ended up recleaning after the team sent by Maid Brigade left. Dusting was not completed, rugs were left unvacuumed, and items damaged and broken. Maid Brigade did send a woodworker to repair damage done by their team to a new piece of furniture.

Maid Brigade is my new favorite company! I requested assistance to get my new home "move in" ready and then to have my town house "move in" ready for my new tenants. I could not be happier with the professionalism and the quality of the service Maid Brigade provided. In fact, I hired them to continue to clean my house 1x a month to augment my regular cleaning because they do such a thorough job!!

I used them for two and a half months, after leaving another firm for failing to perform some of their advertised tasks. I addressed three areas of concern when hiring Maid Brigade (Sterling), but during the cleanings, these areas never seemed to be taken care of. I specifically told them that these were the areas I was upset that the previous company ignored too, and continued patronage was contingent on these areas. I don't think this was overly demanding. They were 1) vacuum the couch (I have cats), 2) mop the bathroom floors (kitchen was always done, but bathrooms were only vacuumed), and 3) don't bang the vacuum into the furniture. I did have them come out for a repeat visit once, and they did do a better job then, but it's inconvenient to keep calling for repeat visits. They should clean as promised the first time. This last cleaning, they even broke a part off my shower door. Instead of leaving a note, they put it back on hoping that I wouldn't notice. I received comment cards in my email for the first two cleanings and the repeat visit, but never another one after that. I guess they don't want to know a client's comments if they aren't going to be straight A's. Consistency must also have gone down; I've had at least 3 teams clean my house in 6 visits. When I asked for my key to be returned, the manager tried to refer me to her friend who also does housecleaning. I thought that was classy. I hope my experience was out of the norm, but wanted to post it since they haven't had a recent review. Overall, I wouldn't say they did a "bad" job, but on the other hand, it's not a great job either. I do realize that no one will clean my house the way I would, but I'm at that point where I know I can get better service, so why keep wasting time?
