They were great. They took the time and were pretty thorough, we were happy. It was a good experience.

They were responsive, and they came on short notice. They completed the work without having to come back. It was great.

Kolb was able to come out quickly to replace our old attic fan that died during house renovations. Our fan was so old that the replacement fan brought by the technician did not fit so he went to a local home store to buy the appropriate part and was able to complete the job in one day. We added additional items to the request - installing ceiling fan, fixing wiring in some of the outlets installing hall lights. The job was done quickly and efficiently.

They did a great job. They came out on schedule and did everything very well.

They were professional and seemed to know what they were doing. The price was reasonable. They went above and beyond in checking any possible safety issues. They were prompt; I called them to schedule service and they came out two days later. It took about 2 hours for them to do the attic fan, as they had to access it from the roof. Overall, I was pleased.

Our bathroom vanity light bar ?shorted out? and the vanity row bar pulled out of the drywall as if it was inadequately anchored. We thought the problem was that the light bar was too heavy and it had just pulled the wire out. We contacted Kolb by email and set up a time for them to come. The electrician arrived and quickly determined that the person who installed the light had done so improperly. The wires behind the switch were bare, causing the electricity to arc and pose a fire hazzard. He had to go to the home improvement store and pick up a replacement switch. While he was gone, my husband removed some parts to make it easier and quicker to fix. Upon his return, the guy (sorry I don't know his name) quickly fixed the problem and reanchored the light bar. My husband was very pleased with the work. I wasn't as pleased because the company charges in 15 min increments after the first half hour, and I wasn't happy about paying someone to go to the store for me. But there was no way we would have known what the problem was ahead of time or that we could have obtained the parts in advance. We are going to inspect all our outlets for this problem and call Kolb back to come and fix if necessary. We'll have the parts available for the electrician ahead of time.

Called them because my dishwasher kept shorting out and dishwasher repoair guy found that a combination of faulty outlet and frayed electrical wiring caused the short. Called Kolb and they promptly sent me someone the same afternoon. Their voicemail said if I call before 8 AM I would get someone the same day but they were able to get me the same day even though I called late morning. The electrician was very competent and knoew what he was doing. He told me couldnt replace the complete wiring but would instead have to add a junction box in my basement ceiling where the wire ran from the kitchen dishwasher. He asked it iwas ok to cut out a small section of the ceiling drywall and explained to me that per code I would have to install an access panel after he did the repair. I gave him the go ahead and he wrapped up the repair pretty quickly, charging me a reasonable fee

Work was performed satisfactorily although perhaps a little slowly (it was a time & material contract due to complexity so that resulted in a higher price than expected). Overall though I am happy with the work and would use Kolb again.

I think that they know their stuff and that their prices are fair. Especially when they've done a big job for us, they were really willing to work with us and figure out what we wanted. We've had recessed lighting installed and the lighting changed in several rooms of our house. The big project was reasonably priced, it made a big difference, and added value to our house.

I called Kolb Electric at about 8:30 in the morning. Twenty-five minutes later a technician named Pat arrived, and within an hour he was finished. He was exceedingly quick, efficient, tidy, and pleasant. With good grace, patience, and humor, he even endured the loud attention of my three rowdy dogs. This is the second time I have called Kolb, and that first experience was as positive as this one. I will definitely call Kolb when next I need an electrician. The service was excellent.

The workman arrived on time and was very polite and professional. He completed his work and made sure to show me exactly what had been done and how it worked.

This was a pleasant experience. Hey came and got right to work and completed everything pretty fast. They worked in a clean and proper manner and I will be bringing them back for more work when I need it even though they are not the cheapest in town.

I was having a patio door installed where there had been no door before, and needed an electrician on hand to move wiring and wall receptacles, once the door installers got to a certain point in their work. Kolb was terrific! I called the week before, explained to Dave what I needed, and the fact that I would only be able to give them a day's notice of when to come out. He said, "No problem. Just tell us when you need us, and we'll be there." And they were! At my request, Kolb also pulled the required county electrical permit. The technician was polite, punctual, tidy, and did good work. I had anticipated that he would have a bit of "down time" on site while the door guys did their thing, so I had him install a couple of new ceiling fixtures while he waited, so as not to waste his time (and my money). Both jobs (electrical and door) came off without a hitch, and I am very pleased with the results.

None of the guys that came out could find the troubleshooting problems, and they are always inconsistent with their quality. One time, they came out, and everything went well. Another time, they completely botched the job. For minor, they are okay, but for bigger work not so much.

Excellent experience, actually priced over the phone, and charged about $100 less. Pulled permit.

Electrician was pleasant and completed work in a professional manner. He cleaned up when finished.

Requested two items be repaired. Stayed home for first day visit scheduled between 8 and noon. Received call at 11:24 AM from dispatcher. Leaves message electrician now available. I returned call at 11:34(had been on conf call). Dispatcher told me he had re-assigned my tech. due to my lack of response. Another tech eventually assigned and arrived at 1:45 PM completing first task and leaving at 4:30 PM. Tech stated he would be at my home at 7:30 AM next day to finish. Second day-Dispatch calls at 8:30. Raining at their shop. Will not send tech. out in rain. Could not grasp concept it was not raining at my home. Tech. finally arrives about Noon,installs lines. Leaves drill residue on floor saying ''You have a sweeper don't you?'' Spends two hours fiddling, never getting 3 of 4 lines to work. Then says, ''This is not my specialty. Call the phone company''. Bills for over three hours. Verizon repair confirmed, this clearly not his specialty. Outlet rewire

They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and did what was needed, not what they could get away with. Rates are high for electricians in general in this area.

THEY DID THE JOB IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER WHICH I APPRECIATED. THEY DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB THAT LOOKS VERY NICE. THEY CLEANED UP ANY MESS THAT THEY MADE. OVER ALL AN OUTSTANDING JOB.
