Description of Work: I had a pipe burst on a very cold weekend, and many of the plumbers were busy and not returning calls. I had my water shut off in the house. On Sunday Miguel called me back and was great. He helped me isolate a d shut off the valve specific to the burst pipe so I could turn the water on in the rest of the house. He was the reason I went with their service, even though I had home warranty coverage with another provider. i would have rated the service over the phone with Miguel an A plus. The person who came out wanted to tag on some generic fee of $160 because they were busy-in addition to the repair cost. Eventually he waived that. He seemed over worked and did not have a great attitude. He completed the work though. Fixed the pipe, and seemed to do a good job. Wasn't enthusiastic about showing me proper way to winterize the outside pipe. Overall rated service B.

Description of Work: Checked heating system, made adjustments to furnace and some recommendations for the future. The technician was knowledgeable, courteous, professional and friendly. He did a very thorough check of the system and made some adjustments. He also fully explained what he found and the work he did. The system is working fine now.

Description of Work: I had my main home furnace break down. Nugent and Sons was very responsive. They diagnosed the issues and setup a new install. I have used them before and would not hesitate to do so again. Great experience.

Description of Work: Installed a 50 gallon gas water heater replacing a leaking one. Experience was great - they showed up on time and did the job quickly. They handled the permitting process and the county just passed their work with flying colors. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: a tube on my HVAC was clogged with soot. they cleaned the tube. The tech was very prompt and friendly. I just can't believe it costs so much to have someone come out and do a 5 minute service. HOWEVER this is not the fault of Nugent....i think it's industry standard...which is unfortunate.

Description of Work: Basically, Nugent checked out the gas furnace for the winter. I have used Nugent for plumbing and AC/Heating and they are my first choice. Good quality, limited BS, and no sales job on things you don't need.

Description of Work: I have used Nugent for many years and I would easily rate them A with the singular exception that they have gotten so much business that you need to schedule routine maintenance long in advance. (I have not needed them for any emergency, so I cannot rate them on responsiveness to emergencies.) Other than that, they provide excellent service, on time and guarantee their work.

Description of Work: We lost our water heater overnight. I called Nugent before they were open, and they called me back within 20 minutes. They scheduled a same-day appointment, showed up, installed the new water heater, and left. Perfect job, reasonable price, outstanding service.
