Description of Work: heating system tune up on 08/15/14 for $80.00

Description of Work: Replaced air conditioning/furnace/water heater and added humidifier and minisplit. Also expanded breaker box to accommodate the minisplit. They were on time for the 3 days of the job: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. UNTIL they had to correct a few problems that occurred during the work. Promised to be here between 7-9 and the first person showed up at 8:45. They didn't get finished until noon. At installation, apparently there was a problem replacing the chimney flue and soot was spread throughout the furnace/storage room. They said they cleaned it up but everything was filthy. It spread a soot film throughout my house. I have photos of my clean-up swiffers that I tried to clean up for the week between installation a week later, late morning to clean it all up. Also when installing the minisplit, they drilled holes in the wall and ended up hitting a steel beam so had to move the unit leaving a big hole that had to be filled and paint that had to be matched. The person that did the plaster/paint work did a good job (the late morning arrival fix) as did another person who assisted in cleaning up the soot everywhere in the furnace room. At installation, they asked me if I knew how to use the thermostat, but no one cared to show me instructions on the water heater ("the info is on the water heater") or anything regarding the humidifier. Left me the booklets. Finally, last evening, while I had guests at dinner, everytime the air cycled on and off, my lights flickered so I have to follow up on that. I feel fairly confident that they did a good job on the air units but the rest of the experience was abysmal. So more follow-up may be needed. Recommended by Angies list and a friend -- and I have to admit that I was disappointed.

Description of Work: We had a day of emergencies and our plumbing problem arose due to my enthusiasm to empty a box of Rid X into the Master Bath shower drain. The powder stuck and flooded the bath. It was a simple fix but I did not know that. Miguel arrived earlier than expected and was done in a few mins. He also gave us quote for our garbage disposal which needs a new unit. I liked the professionalism and the civility and had them in today to do our HVAC service. We have an outstanding issue re the HVAC which needs another visit -- will post a separate review.

Description of Work: I needed to replace two hot water heaters. They had done warranty work on them before. Their price was much higher than others and didn't have what I needed available that day. They were professional enough to recommend I go with the other company that I found that had the units and that it was a great price. We've had issues in the past with their plumbers. This rating is not based at all on there H/VAC service which is much better.
