+ 6 moreJuan Carlos came over and took the measurements, then provided the estimate about 5 days later. They began work within a week and finished in 5 days. The job began and ended on scheduled. They arrived at various times during the week, but were always finished by 5:30. They left the kitchen area clean and free of debris each evening. All of the people who worked on the project were very courteous to my wife and two small kids. Before the installation of the floor they leveled the subfloor, screwed it down to get rid of the squeaks, and installed backer board. They replaced all of the molding but did not caulk or paint at our request.
Description of Work: Juan Carlos did the demo, framing, drywall, electrical, and flooring for our kitchen remodel. The work included removing a decorative partition wall and soffit, rebuilding the pantry to make room for a new refrigerator, removal of existing double oven, rebuild extended soffit, removal of one recessed light, installation of 3 new recessed lights, removal of ceiling fan, addition of 3-way dimmer and switch to recessed lights, installation of 2 wall cabinets and 1 base cabinet, move refrigerator water line, removal of existing wood floor, and installation of 320 square foot porcelain tile floor. The tile floor is a pinwheel pattern with 13"x13" and 6.5"x6.5" tiles with 1/8" grout lines set on backerboard. Juan Carlos is not a designer so you need to know exactly what you want to do.
