Description of Work: Installed an irrigation system for my yard. | |High quality work that I can see so far, have only had the system a couple of weeks. | |The reason for B's on Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism were because it took almost 2 weeks for initial contact from Hydrotech after my first call and message. I wanted a few quotes for my system, and Hydrotech and one other company were top-rated in my area. I left a message for Hydrotech and didn't hear back...I was just about to sign another contract when I finally heard from Hydrotech. Then the person coming to estimate a system for my home was significantly late for the first appointment, and I couldn't stay to walk with him because of work. | |Ultimately their price was the best, and the system design fairly similar to other quotes. Also on the plus side, they ended up installing the system a week or so before the scheduled date due to other schedule changes, and on install day they were on time and completed the work with no issues. | |System is working well so far, so overall I'm happy with the work. I would recommend them...I have a feeling the early responsiveness and tardiness issues were a bit of a fluke.

Description of Work: I've had an irrigation system for about 15 years. A couple heads were broken, some needed to be moved because landscaping had matured etc. Hydro-Tech was recommended by my lawn service company. I called for an estimate. Chris showed up exactly on time. He walked the property, ran the system, made notes, asked me some questions, made some recommendations and said he would email the proposal within a day or two. He did so and prices seemed very reasonable. I accepted and a date was scheduled about six weeks off. I certainly understand that their busiest time of the year is the summer! I was given a "window" in which the service people would arrive; that window was 7AM to 9AM. At 7:45 AM this morning, I heard a gentle knock on the door. The serviceman said he didn't want to wake anybody!!! We walked the lawn, reviewed the work order and they started. About two hours later, he said they were finished. We walked the lawn again and he ran every zone, showing me every new head they put in or where they had just made adjustments. Consumers hear, and share, a lot of horror stories of service companies not showing up on time after the consumer has taken off work or made special arrangements. It was a pleasure dealing with a company that provided a great value; with a company whose personnel showed up exactly when they said they would; with a company whose service techs were neat, clean, professional and polite. Great job, Hydro-Tech! Thanks.
