They did a great job; everything works perfectly, they did the work exactly when promised, and the price was maybe 1/4 what I feared it would cost. We will use them for maintenance in the future.

Great! No complaints, only compliments. We have a very complicated landscape design, both terraces and hill planters. The irrigation system was installed in one day and works perfectly. The crew took care not to damage existing plantings and did a fine job of cleaning up after the project was completed. Originally, the project time was estimated at two days, but the crew worked diligently to complete the work in one day. All the men were courteous and worked well together. Then, five days later, a supervisor came out to the house and spent a good deal of time walking me through the system and teaching me how to use the mechanics. He spent at least an hour patiently explaining everything to me. As he left, he gave me a DVD and other paperwork to help me run the system. From the salesperson, to the crew, to the supervisor, everyone was helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of system

Perfectly. Exactly as described in the estimate. As a interesting bonus effect, the new sprinkler heads they use (compared to the ones they used for our previous house 10 years ago), make a visually cool water show.

these guys were much better than the company that installed and serviced my system for the first 3 years. cheaper, more responsive and helpful in getting my wife's questions answered and sprinkler heads aligned the way she's wanted them...no muss, no fuss...no additional service calls and costs. glad i found them on angie's list.

I found this company through Angie's List and contacted them through their company website. They promptly contacted me back via the phone and we set up a time and date to meet for my in-person consultation and free estimate. One of their Certified Irrigation Designers, Joe Horvath, came promptly at his scheduled time and talked to me about their products. He explained how the system would be installed and how everything would work. He was very professional and a very nice person. He explained everything and answered all my questions. I was having my front and side yards landscaped, and so he took my landscape designer's contact information and said he would design a system after talking with my landscape designer. I received my Hydro-Tech design for my yard a couple of days later via the mail. I thought the price sounded reasonable and this company was recommended by my landscaping company, and so I decided to use their system for my yard. On the day of the scheduled installation Joe and his installation crew came promptly and immediately started to work. They have their own plumbers and so they don't need to contract that out, and so everything can be done quickly and seamlessly. The installation crew was excellent! They were very professional, worked hard, were very efficient, got the job done quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. After my landscape was completed, Larry from Hydro-Tech came out to check to make sure I had proper yard coverage, go over the Hunter Pro-C controller, and answered any questions that I might have. He also was very professional and very nice. He double checked everything to make sure the system was functioning properly and that all my shrubs/trees/plants were being reached. He answered my questions and he gave me a packet of information that provided POC information should I need additional services from Hydro-Tech. I was very impressed by this company on how professional and friendly/polite everyone was from the installation crew to the system designers. It is nice to see. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this company to my friends and family.

Overall they were excellent. They were on time and professional.

Owner, responding to our call, came out and discussed alternatives. He sent a proposal a few days later. We preferred it over other proposals we had and chose them. Installation went smoothly. It has not been close to a year since the system was installed and it has perfomred well. Their representative who flushed the system for the winter and turned it on again this spring is pleasant to work with and helpful.

Hydro Tech Irrigation Co arrived on time explained what exactly what they going to do and finished the job on time. They cleaned up area properly.

When initially contacted the company was very responsive. The sales representative discussed our requirements and answered my questions and then promptly submitted a proposal by email. The one slight glitch in the process was a failure to respond to my additional questions by the promised date but this was very rapidly rectified when prompted. I had found the contractor to be highly rated on Angie's list and verified the top BBB rating. I liked the evident professionalism as well as the care taken to understand my desires. Based on this, decided to proceed without checking other possible vendors. The installation was completed in two days and was done to my desired schedule. A follow up inspection and walk through was carried out the following Monday to verify the system worked as intended and explain how to program the controller as well as the flexibility of the system. As the rain sensor did not appear to be working the contractor scheduled a visit by a technician and it was found that it needed to be wired differently - apparently due to a change by the manufacturer. Great care was taken to minimise any post installation damage and to a great degree it proved very difficult to see any adverse impact within 24 hours and certainly within a week. There was one area where the wheels of the ditching machine had slipped, due to the incline and the wet ground, and the contractor immediately offered to put down some top soil and grass seed to speed the recovery when this was pointed out. Due to the wet weather at this time of year I have not yet needed to use the system but am confident, based on the demonstration thereof, that it will do exactly what I was looking for.

Service was excellent overall. The owner met with me to provide an estimate. He also provided a reference for a good plumber to install a sub meter for the irrigation system. I felt like the estimate was competitive. The team of workers arrived on time the day of the install. The owner was with the team to plan the work and provide instruction. He returned the next day to walk me through the system. The job was done right and the team cleaned up their work nicely. I would definitely hire Hydro Tech again.

They were honest and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me. I was under a very tight time line due to a family emergency that came up and the person was quite willing to move the world in order to make it happen. They are a smaller company compared some other ones. If they feel smaller then they are more affordable and you so don't have a long of a wait. They are able to be more accommodating. I didn't go with their estimate as the other company were able to do it with less sprinkle heads. I would gladly give that up now in order not to have the 3 week late times and the impersonation. I am giving it one more summer to see whether or not the dead parts may grow up. I don't think that the other company did it as well. I want to see if it was because of me being out on the family emergency before I give feedback. Hydro Tech seemed very confident, very personal and very customer centric.

Proposed system was on-par with other bids. Extra year of winterizing and Spring turn-on/tune-up was the difference along with the fact that company had been in business and was larger than the other A-rated company. Crew arrived on schedule and completed the job in one day with minimum disruption to the yard. A follow-up visit was completed about 5 days later to go over system operation and inspect/test the system for defects, along with adjustment of sprinkler heads.

Excellent. Loved this company. The only downside I experienced was some difficulty reaching them, but if you leave a message or send an email, they do get back to you. I thought they did a great job.

Everything was great. They saw the damage was caused by the gas company, and they separated the billing for us so we could possibly be compensated by the gas company.

The salesperson was courteous and kept his appointments right on time. The estimate he gave was exactly what our final invoice was. The installation crews were professional, clean, neat and polite. The work site was kept immaculate with very little damage to the existing lawn. A final inspection was conducted with us by the owner of the company and he walked us through all the aspects of the system including how to program the controller for the most efficient use of water. Our system looks great and our lawn looks even better. If I had it all to do over again I would do exactly the same thing. Some other companies were a little bit cheaper but this was truly a seamless transaction. We highly recommend this company .

Amazing. Just amazing. They showed up on time. The crew included approx. 15 workers. I did a walkthrough with the Project Manager at 8 a.m. to confirm the drawings and equipment. The crew knew exactly what they were doing. The whole job was finished by 4 p.m. I have rarely experienced a "perfect" contractor, but Hydro Tech qualifies.

Excellent service overall. Their sales rep seemed very knowledgeable and was very courteous. Their bid was reasonable and their status on Angies List was great so that was enough for me. During the install, they cut a few Cox Cable lines since they were not marked correctly by Miss Utility. They had Cox come out that day and Cox set my house up with a temporary line so we could get internet service (I use Dish for TV service). Later I found out that they also cut a line that went to my neighbor's house. In typical Cox Cable fashion, they told my neighbor it would take 10 days to fix. So, I mentioned this to Hydro-Tech, and that I felt bad because my neighbor shouldn't have to suffer for 10 days without TV/internet/phone. On their follow-up visit two days later, Hydro-Tech showed up with two guys. One to show us how to use the system, and the other to find the cut line. Well, they found the cut line, and performed a temporary repair right there. My neighbor was very appreciative that he would at least have service until Cox comes out there with a permanent fix. (On a side note, Cox's customer service is a joke - telling their own customer that they would be without service for 10 days!) Hydro-Tech, in contrast, was excellent and really went the extra mile to satisfy us (and my neighbor). Oh, and I absolutely love my new sprinkler system. It seems to work great and was pretty easy to program.

Right on time, completed work exactly as described and on time. System works spectacularly, and continued advise through the whole process. I am recommending them to everyone in my neighborhood!

The first gent showed up at 7 am and marked the property with flags denoting were each type of sprinkler head would go. We met, walked through the property and I gave him my specifications. The crew showed up by 8 am and immediately went to work... and so did I. My wife called and told me I should be happy I wasnt' there seeing it. The tore up the lawn and the landscape stone. But when I returned, everything was back to normal. The landscape stone was replaced and the lawn looked fine. You could tell something had occurred, but it really wasn't bad. The lawn and landscape was virtually how I left just a few hours earlier. I ran the system and I noticed one of the heads were leaking. I called hydrotech and the next day they had a technician out there and he fixed the problem. Aside from digging up one flower in my garden, I have no complaints. They came, they dug and I have a d*** green lawn. I would refer them to anyone. Thanks Hydro Tech! You saved me 1.5 hrs a day out of my life... If only you could help with my bloody commute into the city!

Owner was the person who did the work. He pointed out that the system was old, but that it was a good installation although such systems are not put in basements any more. He got all six zones running, pointed out which valves should remain closed, programmed the system, inspected all the heads. He added that the coverage may not be great and that different heads could be used to expand the reach in some areas. He told us how to winterize the system and said that his company could do it. He said "I'm not going to sell you a new system unless you need one or you find that this one doesn't suit your needs."

They arrived early and did a great job. They were efficient and finished the job in time. I would have them come back and do more work....

I felt very confident in their knowledge and experience. On the day of installation, they showed up on time and finished that day. The followup visit taught us how to use it and made sure we knew we could contact them if needed. It was a great and comfortable experience all around.

The technicians were prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable of my system. They suggested changes and maintenance (which were not an upsell) then explained my system and best practices for coverage and timing across my zone. I've used them for yearly maintenance for > 4 years and will continue to do so.

Was very pleased with their responsiveness relatively late in the season after I could not get my normal company to respond. They accomodated me on my day off, and I decided to sign a maintenance contract for the spring start up of my irrigation system.
