Good. Was fixed and out in less than 30 minutes.

When we purchased a new over the range microwave, we discovered that we would need an outlet put in the cupboard above. I called a good friend who is a local plumbing contractor and asked for recommendations and he sent us to Huntington Electric. I spoke with Amanda first on the phone. She was friendly, helpful and informative. She made an appointment and mentioned that we would possibly need a whole new circuit run since our home is over 25 years old. I told her we are on a concrete slab and that the fuse box is at the opposite end of the house. She noted all the details and a few hours later called and said Blair was in the area and could come by to see what was needed. Blair was very professional and personable. He assessed the situation and answered all the questions thoroughly. He explained that they would possibly need to open the drywall in some rooms since they would be running wire through the ceilings, and that definitely they would need to open the drywall above the fuse box. Later that day we received an estimate in email. The estimate was way below what we feared so we scheduled the work for the next week. The team showed up in the provided time window and got to work. They were obviously very experienced. Only one very small hole was needed in the drywall inside our pantry and they covered it with a solid electric panel so it didn't even need to be repaired! It took about an hour and a half longer than proposed but the proposal indicated that it might be necessary to extend the time depending on how the electric was built in our home. Instead of charging the full extra time, they met us in the middle, which we truly appreciated. All in all, a wonderful experience and we would definitely use this company again based on expertise, price and the great company staff.

Very very happy! Great - he quickly diagnosed the problem to a forgotten outlet behind the armoire. The wires stretched at the outlet - the neutral wire/connection was dead. He replaced that outlet & another one he'd viewed that had also aged out. My husband is a decades long DIYer & was impressed with the technician's methodical & quick approach to problem-solving. The technician was professional, willing to explain the process & to the point.

Finding a problem like this is really tough. It was not like the circuit breaker was bad or anything. It was actually an intermittent short that was going. The guy who did the work just was experienced enough where he could think thru the problem instead of spending hours checking everything and possibly not finding it. He thought through the problem, figured out what it probably was and fixed it. He did it all in like a half an hour, which was amazing. I was impressed. That is why when I had another problem, I called Huntington Electric.

It was a little complicated. They had a new hire come out and it was a really simple job. Initially they charged me $224.25. I paid it but I was really bothered by it. What happened was the new guy charged me for an hour of time plus time for an assistant. And the outlet was right next to the circuit breaker box. So it was a really simple job that was easily done by one person in less than a half hour. I called up and spoke with the owner. The owner asked me to take a little photo of it with my cell phone and send it to him. Which I did and he agreed with me and just refunded the difference. So he is a very responsible, honest guy and that made all the difference for me. The work was done well, it's just that the price was outrageous initially. And what he wound up doing was giving me, the owner that is, an honest price. He told me he would talk to the new guy and tell him he had to charge his customers more carefully. I would give them an A in spite of the initial short fall because mistakes happen. It was a new guy and he didn't know any better. The owner should have trained the guy better initially on the pricing thing. I was very pleased with the way it turned out. If he hadn't done what he did, he would have lost a customer. Instead he has somebody who trusts him.

First visit of a two-part job, so don't know what the cost is yet. But Steven was personable and professional, and I am confident that when they come back to actually do the work, things should go great - will re-review once the job is complete. And Amanda is the office was a pleasure to work with as well.

I moved in a beautifully built house, but after years of neglect, it needed major work. One of these was the electric wiring in the garage. I have exposed bathroom pipes, wires that didn't go anywhere, lighting that didn't work, and outlets that had no business being where they were. They paid a visit to discuss the options, and did a beautiful job of putting things in order in one day. Now I can find the switch and the garage door opener! and my outside lights work (yeah!!!) Now, about the exposed pipes on the ceiling of the garage.... Hope they don't freeze during the winter.

This company did a great job. They were on time and were very professional.

Excellent service. We will definitely call Huntington again for all our electrical needs in the future. I was so pleased with how thorough and knowledgable they were. They also gave us good advice about our current fire detectors and how they should be upgraded. Their pricing was very fair.

Our main 200 amp circuit breaker had tripped three times. Mike made an effort to stop on his way home to trouble shoot the problem and then squeezed us in and came back first thing in the morning to replace the circuit breaker so that we wouldn't possibly be left with no electricity and no heat in the middle of the night. While he and Travis were here they took a moment to move some electrical panels to enable us to do some planned remodeling. Mike was very professional and happy to answer all of my questions. I really feel that I got good service and value for my money.

Mike and Jeremy did an outstanding job and were professional in every aspect of their work. They explained what they were doing all along the way and willingly answered my questions. The particular circuit supported the electricity in the garage and all of the outdoor lights. They gave me recommendations on the best light bulbs to purchase for outdoor use and suggested replacement of defective deck light fixtures. I highly recommend Huntington Electric and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

It went great. They said they'd be here between 7-7:30 am, and arrived at 7:15. He didn't even have to turn off the power. He was done in approximately 15 minutes. He did it quickly and efficiently. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Outstanding high quality work. All licensed electricians performing all the work (not one licensed and then unlicensed helpers like some other companies). All very competent and highly experienced. Very neat & tidy. Outstanding cleanup after performing all work. Have used them in the past and will do so again in the future. Note: Exact total cost unknown. The new circuits and much oft he lighting was done as a subcontract to the remodeling contractor (my recommendation to use them). The $3300 estimate above is for the additional work I had them do which included the new circuit breaker panel and some additional ceiling lighting outside of the remodel areas, and moving the existing ceiling fixture. I highly recommend Huntington Electric.

We recently bought a Reston, VA townhouse and hired Huntington, upon recommendation by our realtor, to wire and install ceiling fans in three upstairs bedrooms. Huntington was very prompt, and their prices were very reasonable. Upon installing the fans, Huntington noted substantial electrical problems in the upstairs bathrooms. Given that we were very pleased with the ceiling fans, we hired Huntington to address the other electrical issues as well. They were easily able to accommodate the fact that we had a contractor doing work on our home at the same time, and worked with our schedules. They exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely hire them again for any other electrical work we might need in the future!

Dan Boisvert did the work and it was terrific, he was great.

They do electrical work for me on occasion. The price depends on what I am having done. They charge about $100 an hour. They are very reliable and they will fit me in for emergencies. I will continue to use them.

The woman who I initially spoke to was helpful and assured me someone would be out by the end of the day to look at the problem. The technician that came was so nice and helpful and diagnosed and fixed the problem within no time. We were so pleased by the whole experience and would definitely call again if we needed some electrical work done, although, we hope we won't anytime soon ;)

The two men arrived right on time and got to work. The installation of the ceiling fan in my office went perfectly, as did the installation of the hall ceiling light and the chandelier in the den. The lead installer then asked about the fan in the master bedroom -- it seemed I had forgotten to order a downrod and he thought it might be missing. Thankfully he had not begun the installation. About three weeks later, once I got the downrod, he came back and completed the installation. For the time involved, the cost was very reasonable; the total cost for both visits was $590 but it would have been less had they been able to do it all in one visit - my mistake. After the second visit and the final fan installation, I noticed the fan was making a noise at a high speed. I phoned and he came back out (no charge) -- one of the fan blades was slightly misaligned and he was able to fix it quickly and easily. This company is professional, stands by their work, and the electricians were efficient, clean, and courteous. We had actually used this company several years ago and we would use them again. (The company even sent a thank-you note.) I highly recommend them!

Fantastic service. Mike and Joe were able to quickly run a new cable outlet box form our family room to living room. Somehow they to and quot;fishand quot; the line without having to damage any drywall in our finished basement. Pure magic. They were quick, cleaned up and very professional. This is the second time I've used Huntington and I will continue to call them first for any electrical issue.

We have been using Huntington for many years. From the time you place your call and speak to Andrew who asks all the right questions so that the service consultant has all the necessary materials to the moment your service consultant leaves you are treated with the utmost professionalism and consideration of your belongings. Huntington has serviced our outdoor lighting for many years. This year there was more work than usual as a couple of the light fixture interiors needed to be replaced. Of course, the fixture itself no longer quite matched the interiors but our reps were able to and quot;jury rigand quot; and the fixture works as good as new. Our dining room chandelier is an old chandelier of heavy brass (25lbs or so). Takes two to take it down. Great job!

The electrician arrived on time. He brought the required parts and installed them competently and courteously.

With the very first call to Huntington, I was impressed. The person on the phone asked a number of questions about the project and offered advice which, was excellent. The work was conveniently scheduled early in the morning so that I did not have to schedule a day off of work. The technician arrived a bit early, which was great. He showed me exactly what he was going to do; advised as to pluses and minuses and ensured that the work was going to meet my expectations. The initial request was for the external lights. Once he finished that work he asked if there was anything else which he could do in 15 minutes or so. I showed him the internal light and he completed that replacement quite quickly. Very pleased and will recommend Huntington and I will use them again.

I don't remember how much I spent on their services. I will use them again in the future if I need to.

They got the job done and everything went according to plan. It looks great and it worked. I have already called them up and have more jobs for them.
