They've been doing weekly lawn care for 10 consecutive years. We hired them when we lived at our old house at Loudoun County, Virginia, and we brought them with us to our new place here in Fairfax County, Virginia, and they've been doing lawn care and mowing and landscape work for us for 10 years now. They're a good group. We're going to have them back to do little more leaf removal.

From the initial phone call to completion. . .A+. Mike met with me at my house to go over my "vision". I wanted to replace a large bed (tear out all shrubbery and replace), create a new large bed on the side, add a stone walkway (approx. 30 ft) and integrate lighting throughout. He and I spent 30 minutes or so tossing around ideas and walking through the areas to be worked. When we were done he took measurements and began the design process. In a few days he presented us with a detailed plan/drawing that included plant types and placement, location of the walkway stone, placement and types of lights as well as alternatives. We loved his ideas and changed very little if anything. We agreed on a price and he estimated a start date a couple weeks out. Mike called a week later to confirm the start date which was within a day of the estimate. The crew arrived when he said they would. They were very efficient, professional and curteous. They worked on the project for the better part of a week and Mike was there each day monitoring progress and getting my input an various things. They were very flexible when we wanted some minor changes and add on's. We were extremely happy with the final results but wished we had done more with the lighting. No problem. . .within a few days he was back installing a few more lights. Customer satisfaction is obvously important to them! I would highly recommend Howard Landscapes!
