Greg's overall bid was very competitive and committed to doing all the required work within the required schedule. He started the day after contract award, labor was fixed price, materials were separate ~ he gave me his material's discount. Greg's team did an excellent job! All floors, furniture was covered while the work was done, afterwards he cleaned up and removed all trash.

He brought (2) workers with him; the job was reviewed with me and communicated with the workers. They were very polite & professional in covering the furniture, performing the job and clean-up afterward. The patching was seamless and cannot be detected as it blends with the rest of the wall. The workers worked continuously for 3 hours from start to completion. [ $300} The exterior work consisted of replacing some rotten wood around a (1) window, paint (3) windows and to caulk (5) windows. Again the workers were very polite, performed the work in ~ 2 hours and cleaned up nicely. [ $450]. All work included materials.

Greg Zuniga of Greg's Home Improvement & Painting was referred to us by a neighbor's friend who has used him several times for painting. She highly recommend him. We called Greg and schedule a time for an estimate. To our delight he was able to come out on a Sunday afternoon and arrived on time. We walked the property and we had advised him we had a lot of prep work to be done as the house was 14 yrs old and had been painted about 9 years ago. We asked him how long did he think the prep work would take and he advised at least three days. The house is a three story, all brick with walkout basement and has double shutters on eleven of the windows. The prep would consist of removing ALL the old caulking and replacing with new from around the 3 car garage doors, 30+ windows, two sets of french doors, repair any wood that had cracked or needed to be replaced, sanding on all wood trim areas and shutters, caulk any areas under the gutters or any seams that were noticeable, plus we asked for him to replace all the weather stripping on the two french doors, front door and side door and the underneath weather stripe (which you have to remove the doors for) plus paint the foundation. He arrived at 8am every day with two other men.. Greg is on sight working every day and everyone shows up on time.The three days to do the prep and the quality of prep alone warrants a review. We have never been so impressed with the detail this crew has performed on our house. They have caulked areas I wouldn't have thought to caulk . They are doing an excellent job and in our opinion this is the way a professional painter should do it. No shortcuts. We just don't find companies that absolutely do what they say they are going to do. Prep work is the hardest part of painting a home and it takes the most time. By the time he finished the prep and primed the house it didn?t look like it needed any paint. It was such a good job. We are over the moon and so thankful we have finally found someone of his integrity. The crew was finishing up and we asked if they would consider painting a small shed on the property and with Greg his answer as always is ?no problem.? They did another great job, looks brand new. He was even kind enough to removed an old Direct TV cable wire that was no longer in use and was dangling from the roof top as the tie from the gutters had broken. I will definitely schedule them to do the interior painting in a few months. As Greg was finishing up (again) we asked him if he would give us an estimate to repaint the inside of the three car garage and the garage floor. So we will follow up with that review as it will consist of removing and replacing all the old drywall tape and patching several holes plus sanding the garage floor to prep for paint and yes, we hired him for that too! Estimate was $1400.00!
