Mark was great to work with. He obviously loves working with granite, and takes great pride in doing beautiful work. He was very friendly and helpful when I met him to select granite for my bathroom renovation. When I went back to finalize the selection and put down a deposit, I found another piece of granite that I liked even more than my first choice. Mark had no problem with changing the order. Although he only had a partial slab, he was able to cut pieces to fit both counter tops as well as the accent pieces for the top of the shower knee wall and the shower threshold, which added a really nice touch to the bathroom design. When the contractor was ready to have the granite installed, Mark was able to come out right away and get the job done quickly. I couldn't be happier with the results. I would give Mark my highest recommendation, and will certainly use him again should the need arise.

Mark was very knowledgeable and takes a lot of pride in his work. He made things very easy and was also available to answer questions. He always answers his phone and always shows up on time. I picked out my granite on Sat morning and he installed it on Sunday afternoon. Seriously! He did a beautiful job. When we realized we had a minor miscommunication regarding he scope of work, he immediately correct the problem and did not try to play the blame game. He was honest and friendly throughout the process....not to mention fast and skilled!!!

We drove out to Mark's place in Sterling to meet with Mark who was very friendly and knowledgable. He clearly cares about his work and the quality. He loved showing us the pieces he had done. We picked a granite we liked and he sent us to the place he picks out slabs to check it out. We did shop around but his personality and up-front demeanor sold us. It was all quick turnaround once we decided to go ahead and was more around our schedule than his-he was very flexible. They showed up and finished the countertops in just a few hours. His plumber came separately and installed the faucet, new disposal and dishwasher for us. Overall, we are very happy with their work and love our new countertops. He went the extra mile since our cabinets are not that well made and made the granite go into the wall with no extra charge. We would recommend his work to anyone looking for new granite countertops.

Mark, the owner of the company, is by far one of the best people to work with. He always answers your calls, gives you a very honest, fair and reasonable price for the job and will tell you everything up front. I shopped around for countertop fabricators for almost two weeks before settling with Mark and I'm very happy with my decision. Since he has very little overhead (he picksup the slabs from the distributors himself) he can easily pass the savings to the customer and that affords him the opportunity to do the job for the best price possible. There is a very good reason for his stellar Angie's list reviews, he really is one of the best fabricators in the area. He's also very well known and highly regarded by all the distributors in the area... so don't hesitate to select him, you'll be very pleased.

Words cannot describe how fantastic this experience was. Mark was super responsive, and we met on Saturday and picked granite, he measured Sunday (!!) night, and installed the counter on Tuesday. This was a total rush job after remodeling, and cooking for 20+ for Thanksgiving. Prices were better than anywhere else, and service and installation great. We had 4 other estimates and his prices were also better.

Mark is always available to answer questions one might have regarding the granite and installation. I was very impressed with Mark's knowledge of the various granite stones, I loved looking at the granite slabs at the various granite places and ventured into unknown areas to view slabs, I finally narrowed my preferences and met with Mark to look over the selection, he analyzed the stone slab for cracks and fissures, and was very knowledgable. I especially appreciated the fact that he "really enjoys his work", in my opinion he is a dedicated artisan. Once I made the decision to go ahead he and his superb crew were here in a few days, were excellent in clearing the area for the installation, removing the Corian (20 plus years) and fitting the new Granite. His team worked well together, were very professional and pleasant to deal with. They did some minor work outdoors to prepare the backsplash and cleaned up after the work. The granite fits very well and the new sink, faucet, garbage disposal all work well, the plumber and his helper also were very good and professional that work with Mark. I took a long time to proceed with my decision to select the stone, etc., and I am extremely pleased with the excellent result, work Mark has accomplished in my kitchen; he is very honest and knowledgable, and I love my new granite countertops, I consider them a fine piece of "jewelry" Mark is a very nice pleasant person to deal and spends time answering questions the client may have I highly recommend him for granite selection and installation, this was my first experience with having granite installed

Mark from GGG came out on Friday to do an estimate. By Sunday (9/30), I had a beautifully installed granite countertop in my kitchen. Mark even made a plywood mold before cutting the stone in order for a perfect fit. I was fortunate to find Mark to do such an amazing job.

If I were looking for someone to do granite work, I wouldn't walk, I would run to GGG. I contacted this company based on already outstanding references from Angie's list and my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. Mark, the owner, came out promptly after my contacting him. We discussed several possibilities and he was so knowledgeable about all kinds of stone even though his focus is on granite. We discussed colors and he explained which ones were porous and would stain, which ones would show every fingerprint and smidgin of dirt, etc. I contracted with him for granite work and he volunteered to help pick out the stone. We met and went to some granite places and he has a wonderful eye for catching defects and imperfections. On the other hand I saw some really beautiful granite slabs but they had seemingly large imperfections and he would say, for example, " no problem, I can cut around it--that would be where the sink goes".. All this is just to give you an idea of how helpful he is. Even decorators don't know what he knows about the actual stone. Today he came and did the work and it it outstanding. Everything so perfectly cut, so beautifully done and he can provide you with a plumber that works with him who does outstanding work, as well. And from the reaction of both Mark and the plumber, it isn't just a job. They both take tremendous pride in their work and want to make sure you are satisfied. And, when they left, everything was cleaned up. And as an aside, if you are looking to redo work for selling your house, Mark is very good at knowing what goes and what doesn't. He is up-to-date on everything. I looked at several different places and Mark was by far the most professional, honest and decent. But, mainly, he does beautiful work and at a very competitive price. The price was right.!!!

Mark at GGG did a great job with the fabrication and installation of new granite kitchen counter and bathroom vanity tops. He helped me in selection of the granite slabs to make sure I ended up with a quality stone. Overall, I was very happy with the process and final product. I would definitely use GGG again and recommend them to others.

Of all the companies I contacted to get quotes on granite countertops, Mark was by far the most responsive and trustworthy. I decided to go with Mark, and I am SO GLAD I did!! He gave me a quote over the phone, came over right away to measure, and two days later I had beautiful countertops! No fuss, no changing of price, no trying to talk me into a more expensive piece of stone, and best of all, Mark is a true craftsman! He chose a beautiful piece of granite (one piece) for my giant island! Other companies would have used two pieces with a seam, to make their job easier. The plumbing was separate. He is reliable, responsive, and reasonably priced.

This is our 3rd granite install with Mark. We don't need to look anywhere else. He measured on Wednesday and installed on Thursday. Another flawless job and we couldn't be happier with the result. You won't find anyone easier to work with than Mark and his crew. It's done right the 1st time with high quality at a good price.

This overall experience underscores why we use Angie's List! We learned of GGG by reading reviews on Angie's List. My wife and I drove over to meet Mark, the owner of GGG. He has a small shop in an industrial complex-- no large overhead costs are passed on to the customer here. We looked over the many samples that are offered, and he spent a considerable amount of time with us explaining how he approaches his projects. We were impressed that we were dealing directly with the owner who does most of the work himself, and it became clear that we were dealing with a very talented and experienced craftsman. We took several samples home, decided which one we wanted, and made arrangments to get the work done. We met at a granite supplier nearby to mark the specific slabs that would be used, and in less than a week the job was complete. He made two visits to our house. The first visit was to take measurements (he actuaally made a template for our kitchen island, which was challenging to deal with). The second visit was the installation. Everything went extremely well. Mark was able to make the upper counter on the island from a single piece of granite--you could tell that he was pleased at how it turned out. We recommend GGG without reservation. Their work was precise (dealing with the many imperfections left by our homebuilder) and looks terrific. It certainly is a pleasure to work directly with the owner of a small business who works very hard and wants everything to turn out well. He and his crew are proud of their work, show up on time, and clean up after the job is done. Best of all, his price is very competitive. Keep up the good work Mark!!

We hired GGG after finding them through Angie's List and had a great experience. Our initial scope was to have our kitchen counters replaced so that we could prepare the house for a move. GGG provided recommendations that would help the house sell while keeping the price reasonable. To help us with our busy schedule, GGG conducted the install on the weekend. While precautions were taken, accidents happen. As it was being removed, our old countertop fell on the hardwood floor causing damage. Without hesitation GGG offered to take care of the damage and followed through. Great reaction to a problem. We liked the finished product so much that we decided to have the same counters installed in the master bath instead of selling the house. Again, the result is excellent and the price reasonable.

We knew nothing about granite countertops and picked Granite, Granite, Granite and one other company, off of Angie's List, primarily due to the rankings they had received. Granite, Granite, Granite replied to my email within an hour - I never heard from the other company - their loss. Initially there was an issue with emailing through Angie's List, so be sure to include your phone number and email address within any correspondence you have with any contractor - within 2 days I had an appointment on 8-9-2012 to meet with Mark (the owner) - he walked us through the different types of granite and told us which he thought were the best - which were problematic, and which he wouldn't recommend. We picked out a sample we liked, then he and his co-worker, Earl, went with us to two different sites where we picked out two slabs. Earl brought them right back to the shop and Mark came back to our house and did measurements (I had initially provided them with measurements in an email so they could give me a rough estimate of cost). Mark bought the sink (he had a catalog for me to pick one out) - and I was responsible for the faucet (I had a great experience with www.faucetdepot.com) the countertops were installed on 8-11-12 and are FABULOUS!! We paid an extra $200 for a plumber - who Mark brought with him - they hauled away the old countertops and left the house clean - unbelievable price for master craftsmanship and professionality!! I will recommend him to everyone - knowledge, pricing and workmanship- WAY WORTH THE DEAL!! If I could gie him 20 stars I would.

Contacted Mark on Monday and he got granite fireplace surrounds installed on Saturday. Quick response and really nice job! will definitely use their service in the future.

I picked out my Granite on Saturday and had my countertops installed by Wednesday! I would recomment GG&G to anyone. Mark is responsive, easy to get in touch with, honest and seems to love what he does. He knows granite very well and provides honest answers to selection and maintenance questions and doesn't try to see you anything you don't need. The price was much more competetive than the more well adverstised companies but considering the Angie's List reviews, I was comfortable I was not getting involved with a sub-standard company. And, I was right! I will not hesitate to use GG&G for any projects in the future or to recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

I found GGG on Angie's list and decided to choose this vendor because great feedback and rating. Mark, the owner is great! Very responsible, friendly, and professional. I visited his store on a Saturday and picked the granite and told him how much I was looking to spend. We agreed on the price. He happened to have a few slabs of granite I picked in the store, so I got a chance to see them. He came to my house that Saturday afternoon to do the measure and offered to come on Tuesday to install (because the appliances are coming on Monday). But I told him I rather do it on the following Saturday and he does work weekends so I don't have to take off work. On Saturday, he came right on time with two men crew. He was quickly took off the old corian counter tops. No seam in any of the granite installation. It looks great in the kitchen. They are very professional, nice, and I am very pleased with the work they did. The plumber that Mark used was also very good. Overall, great work and reasonable price. I will highly recommend GGG.

I called at 11:45 and he was here with 2 other people in an hour to do the job; it was such a small job and I was so grateful. They were neat and left absolutely no dust anywhere. He had a $300 minimum to come all the way but only charged me $200 once I told him I'd found him on Angie's List. Great service; if I ever redo my kitchen he'd be the first guy I called!

Working with Mark was a fantastic experience. I called on Tuesday to see if I could come out to his shop the next day to discuss installing granite in a listing I had coming up. The next day I met with him at his shop and discussed what I needed. He said he had a leftover slab that he could use, which ended up being the perfect color and perfect price. The best part, he offered to install it that Friday! Talk about service. They did a fantastic job, were on-time, delivered what they promised and were extremely friendly. I'll be recommending GGG in the future to everyone I know who needs Granite work done. A+!

The entire process was simple and quick. No complaints.

I needed a piece of my granite counter top removed to accommodate a new double wall oven installation. I spoke to Mark, the owner, explained my dilemma, and he could not have been easier to deal with. They arrived on time and did a terrific job . The repair was so good you were unaware it even occurred. The entire experience was flawless.

Mark Blankley is super to work with, very responsive and provides a quality product. I contacted Mark after reading reviews on Angie's List. He came over the next day to take measurements and provide an estimate. Since the estimate depended on the type of granite I wanted installed he sent me to his granite folks to find what I liked. When I was able to stand in front of the huge granite slabs, I completely changed my concept. The two by two inch pieces of granite many people carry around for ideas just don't do the product justice. I selected my granite and Mark gave me an estimate over the phone when I contacted him that same day. I am not used to such responsiveness in the DC area! Mark came on the appointed day and time and completed the project very quickly and within his estimate. He has obviously been doing this quite some time. I am thrilled with the countertops and would use Mark for granite work again in the future.

We were very pleased with the work. I attributed the great looking countertops in helping us sell our house in two days after putting it on the market. Leaving behind the new countertops was one of the hardest parts of moving for my wife. She still has the sample piece of granite as a reminder.
