+ 0 moreSome hiccups but overall, great job. Mark Blankley (Owner) came to do the estimate and also came to do the install. His explanations and suggestions were right on target. He and his team came when they said they would, did the job I contracted them to do, cleaned up afterwards. Now we now have a great looking counter. The only hiccup in the whole operation was a plumbing problem that developed afterwards. We have an older house with unusual plumbing. One of the pipes was not reconnected properly after the job by the plumbing subcontractor, but when I called to complain, they sent out a guy that very night to fix it. He went to the local hardware to get the part needed, repaired the pipe, then stayed to test the fixture, all at no cost. The owner of the plumbing subcontractor even left me his personal number so I could call him directly if there were any more problems. Spot-on great service. I highly recommend them all.
Description of Work: 40 square ft of granite counter tops plus 5" backsplash installed to replace old counter tops of same size. Included new sink and faucet fitted to existing garbage disposal unit. Included removal of old counter tops. Paid $180 of $2,930 amount listed above for plumbing work to attach supply line to new faucet and disposal. This was done by a subcontractor.

+ -1 moreI called Mark from Granite, Granite, Granite and he came out and measured our countertop layout. We weren't sure on how we wanted our island to be and he came up with a great design for our overhang. He then helped us pick out which granite he thought would go with our cabinets, paint, appliances. He said it would be about a 5-7 day turnaround which was good for me because I had some last minute things to get done before he came. Of course he called me in 3 days and said he was ready so I had to get everything together for the next day. Granite came and installation was easy and they were out in a few hours. We get compliments on our kitchen everytime people come over and they love the granite.
Description of Work: Granite Granite Granite installed my kitchen granite tops. He did an amazing job and somehow he was able to do it without seams in the granite. He also made adjustments to my sink template so I didn't have the overhang on the sink to prevent mildew growth. They definately take pride in what they do and I will be calling them back when i'm ready to do my bathroom vanity tops.

+ -1 moreAfter a numerous amount of estimates on granite counter tops to replace my aging laminate counter tops I went with GGG because they took they time to explain in detail the work that would be required. They offered a wide selection of samples (color's and finishes) and made a lot of suggestions on what would work best with out existing cabinets. The owner (Mark) made the wife and I extremely comfortable unlike some of the other companies that made it feel a tad bit rushed. Mark wasn't the cheapest solution out there but he was close and he was by far the easiest to work with. The work was started two days after I made the selection and was completed in about 3 hours. Mark's plumber came by shortly after and had the faucet and garbage disposal back in place in no time.

If you would be willing to choose a different type of granite from what we have and consider a different edge profile such as an ogee edge let me know." Really? I'm going to spend a fortune remodeling a bathroom and not get the granite I planned to use, because they don't have any on hand?

+ -1 moreMark was very responsive with a quote on the phone when I gave him rough dimensions and told him which granite we had selected (we had been to other granite showrooms prior to calling him). His quote was on par with one other company I had an estimate from but significantly cheaper than Home Depot/Lowe's estimates. He also said that he could do the work within a week or so. I was tired of living in a kitchen without countertops, so this was especially appealling. I scheduled him to come take measurements a couple of days later. He confirmed the price of the granite and said he actually already had some in stock. This was good news since 2 of the other suppliers I had spoken with were out and wouldn't get any for months. Mark took measurements and determined that we didn't need any cabinet leveling (ours were newly installed). He advised against the cast iron sink that we had thought about buying. He recommended the Silgranit and found a supplier that could get one in within days. He came out for the estimate/measurements on a Thursday and was meant to install the countertops the following Tuesday. However, the sink supplier had messed up the sink order and so the sink was not going to be delivered until the next day. Mark called apologetically and said he could install the countertops that day and the sink the following day. However, we decided to just wait. He showed up promptly on Wednesday morning with his helper and they were in and out within a couple of hours. We are very pleased with the countertops and Mark was very professional. We would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Installed granite countertop (with half-bullnose edges) and 4" backsplash in our kitchen. Price included a 10" undermount Silgranit sink and installation. The pieces of counter cover an area of ~8'x2', 4'x2', 4'x2' and a fourth piece of 1'x2'.

+ -1 moreWithin a few days of phoning the company, Mark came to measure. I told him I was having trouble finding the right color of granite to go with my blue wallpaper and showed him the samples I had picked up from other places. He suggested a color he thought would work and phoned other companies to see if they carried it in their showrooms because he did not. He located some, gave me the address, and I went to see it and fell in love with it. I phoned on a Monday to see when I could get it installed, and the owner, Mark, gave me a choice of Thursday or Friday of the same week! Mark even made an additional trip to my home to pick up the deposit, since I had not given him one when he measured due to being unsure I would find a color I liked. They arrived when they said they would, and installed the granite in less than two hours. He phoned the plumber so that he would come as soon as Mark finished his part. They, too, did an excellent job. We are thrilled with the whole experience, and they could not have been a more professional, friendly group.
Description of Work: Tear out of old counter tops. Installed new countertop on our kitchen island, and a smaller one next to stove. Installed new sink and faucet and disposal.

+ -1 moreI called Mark on Wednesday to give me a quote on my granite countertops. He came out that very day! I was very impressed. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I told him I would call him back and let him know in a day or two. Mark said he could do the work for me that Friday. (2 days from quote) After reviewing some preexisting quotes I got from a few other granite companies and they were all $600 - $1000 more for similar or the same stone so I decided to call Mark back that evening and went ahead with the work. I felt pretty comfortable because Angies List has many rave reviews for Mark and his work. So he came out on Thursday and made a template for my countertops. I told him I wanted Uba Tuba. Last minute Thursday evening I called him and asked him to switch to Tropical Brown which he did! He already purchased the Uba Tuba but said he would be happy to go back to get the one I wanted because Uba Tuba is so nice he knew he'd be able to use it soon for somebody else. I was floored that he was so easy going about it. I didn't expect that he would allow me to change my mind after purchasing the stone. I went with tropical brown which I really like too. He was also very good at examining the stone slabs for imperfections or areas that might be discolored. He is a stickler for quality which I really appreciate especially at this price point. So he picked out a very nice stone for us and came over Friday with two other installers (who were so nice and professional) and they did the job in less than 2 hours. We had a challenging kitchen with lots of angles and they worked around it very well. I am so pleased. I hope anybody who is looking for granite gives these guys a chance for the job. I am confident you will be happy.

Mark was immediately available and met with my customer to iron out every detail. His demeanour with my customer was exceptional, his granite fabrication and installation were perfect in every way, GGG's prices are very reasonable and coupled with Mark's skill as a fabricator, installer and his knowledge of all things granite you cannot find a better craftsman.

Description of Work: I was looking for a more skilled owner operated countertop fabricator. After carefully screening about a dozen granite top fabricators, I decided to have Granite Granite Granite (GGG) replace 38 square feet of my kitchen counter tops and install a new 30"single basin stainless steel single basin sink + faucet. My original granite countertops were installed about 10 years ago. Unfortunately due to improper installation methods by the original fabricator, the granite around the faucet cracked and then popped this December. My initial thought was to see if I could get the area repaired. However, I soon realized that nobody could really guarantee the repair. Furthermore, the cost of repairing a small area was about 50% of replacing two sides of my countertops. Eventually I found out that the reason my faucet area cracked was attributed to a number of incorrect sink installation procedures; some by the sink manufacturer installation guidelines. The original 36" undermount cast iron sink was too heavy and improperly supported. The previous fabricator etched the underside of my granite countertops around the sink cutout and installed support metal rods. This eventually rusted and weakened the faucet tap area. Most sink manufacturers and fabricators still etch or drill the underside of the granite to support the undermount sinks. Neither Mark (GGG) or I believe in this practice. As a x-carpenter, Mark designed and installed support structures for my sink from 2"X4" lumber that are independent of the granite. Basically these support frames look like two "T"s under my sink and mounted flush to the sides of my kitchen sink cabinet. Now the weight of the undermount sink is supported independently and the weight is transferred to the cabinet floors. With just a couple of screws, I can remove these brackets and replace/repair my sink in the future with ease. These are just a few things Mark sold me on. Mark (GGG) was very responsive and knowledgeable. Within the same day of calling his office, Mark showed up to analyze my damaged sink and measure the countertops. Mark's prices were very competitive. For 38 sq. ft. (L shape) and sink cutout, Marked charged me $2,100. The price included removal of my old countertops and installing a 6" backsplash. I elected to go with Mark's 30" Elkay (Dayton line) 18 gauge stainless steel sink; about $300. I also went with Mark's Blanco contemporary kitchen faucet (model 157-090) for about $475. The Blanco line is very similar to the Grohe German brand at 1/3 the cost. After negotiating price, Mark was able schedule the installation within a week. He only needed 1/2 day to remove the old granite countertops and install the new tops. Mark does all his own work and is very responsive. I would highly recommend GGG. + -1 moreWe had a great experience. We met Mark on a Sat. to pick out a granite color we liked and get a quote for the job. Once we decided to use Granite Granite Granite, I called Mark on the next Monday to negotiate a price. I was very happy with the final price we settled on. He was able to come to my house on Wednesday to measure, and he installed the countertops on Sunday, so the whole process took 8 days. Mark was a pleasure to work with, and he and his men did quality work. It was nice to deal with the same person the whole time - no salesmen who couldn't answer installation questions. Mark was always around to answer my phone calls, and he arrived promptly for both the measurement and install. He was able to recommend a plumber who came right after he finished and reconnected the water lines and disposal. We are really pleased with the new countertops. The only issue we had is that we arranged with him to install a dish soap dispenser next to the faucet. He forgot a dispenser and he had to run out during the install to buy a dispenser. This caused about a 45 min. delay in the work, but it worked out okay.

+ -1 moreThis was a terrific experience. I am a very uptight customer and Mark was very patient and delivered exactly what I wanted. I would recommend that those who use him rely on his artistry and expertise. His knowledge of granite and how it would look once cut down to fit your needs is remarkable. I could not have been more pleased with my seamless countertops. Marc also does a great lazy susan to match your countertops - make sure you ask him about it. I would also suggest that if you have a choice between a full back splash and a 4? backsplash ? you go for the full back splash. My kitchen looks very rich as a result. I have included before and after pictures.
Description of Work: Installed granite in 2 bathrooms and kitchen and accompanying hardware. Removed all old hardware and countertops.

+ 0 moreI called, and Mark answered. We were in a bit of a fix because the faucet on our sink had just broken, and it would have cost a couple of hundred to replace. We had been considering granite countertops for some time, so I called Mark on a Saturday. To my great surprise, he said that he could install the countertops the following Tuesday! He came to my house to measure my countertops, and then he went with me to the granite showroom in Sterling, I think it was Europa stone, and we walked through the place together and he pointed out the positives and negatives of the various stone. I decided on Tropical Brown. I also was able to pick out a sink and a faucet with Mark. We were all set. He and his assistant arrived on Tuesday morning, and everything except plumbing work was done in a couple of hours. Minimal disruption. They way Mark worked it out, I only had one seam in the entire kitchen and you can hardly see it. Then he arranged for E.A. Kiker and sons to hook up the drain and the garbage disposal. I wish I could remember the guy's name who came over, but he was very friendly and professional. We are 100% satisfied with our experience.

+ -1 moreWe selected the granite at Europa and asked GGG to come out and measure for an estimate. Mark made several suggestions and provided a reasonable quotation on site. He scheduled and completed the work within five days. The seam shows up more than I would like, but he did a good job of sealing it. The day after the installation, I noticed that the dishwasher was out too far. I called him and he was back within a half hour and recessed it.
Description of Work: Uninstalled old laminate countertops. Fabricated countertops, per our instructions and installed new granite tops.

+ 1 moreI initially e-mailed the company and they were quick to respond. They gave me a rough estimate, then arranged to come by for a measurement. When they came to measure the countertop, they brought a few samples that were in the color family I requested. They came back about a week later to install the countertop and were done in one afternoon. They also put in a new sink, but did not connect it to the water.
Description of Work: They removed my old countertop and put in a new, custom cut granite countertop & backsplash.

+ -1 moreMark will tell you he relies on word of mouth and his reputation as his advertising. He makes a point of answering his phone. He is knowledgable as he has been doing this for close to 20 years. His estimate was similar to what I was expecting, but he also took care of the sink, faucet and plumber. He is easy to work with and does a great job. He does what he says and it looks great. Stop searching and call him!
Description of Work: We had granite countertops installed in our kitchen. I called Mark Saturday (and he answered). He came Tuesday to measure and show us samples. The coutners were installed Friday! Very FAST! He is very personable and takes pride in his work. He will give you advice about the stone and also improves cabinets and molding as needed to support the new counters. I worked with Mark because he was the only person who felt he could do my counter with NO seams. He accomplished the job flawlessly. He also arranged for a plumber to install a new disposal, undermount sink, and faucet. Mark showed up early (11:55 on Friday) and was done by about 3. The plumber came at 2:50. The whole thing was perfect and painless. We installed new sink, disposal, faucet, countertops, backsplash. Room had 64 sqft of counter and 24 feet of splash (6"). We purchased the disposal on our own. Mark arranges the plumber, but you pay them separately. Forget the discount countertop guys. This is something you will install once. You want the best, not the cheapest. Go with Mark, you will not be disappointed.

Although his estimate was the highest of 3 obtained, he was also the most knowledgeable and professional. We felt that he was an expert in this field, which was demonstrated by his workmanship. Our entire kitchen/bar has only a single seam, whereas other estimates would have included multiple seams. Mark does the job right - and it is well worth the price! Mark and his crew were always punctual and went above and beyond to ensure that we were completely satisfied after installation.
Description of Work: We had granite countertops installed in our kitchen and bar area. The owner, Mark, personally came out to provide the estimate and measure a template. He also accompanied us to Europa, his granite supplier, where he patiently walked us through numerous granite samples. Mark was also present for the actual install, and personally followed up to ensure we were happy with the work. The granite countertops and bar included only a single seam. Mark recommended a plumber who installed a new undermount sink, faucet, and garbage disposal simultaneously, which completed our "new" kitchen. Optional brackets to support the bar were provided. His turnaround time was amazing - we selected our granite slab on Saturday and everything was completely installed on Wednesday, sink etc included!

+ 0 moreThe head of Granite Granite Granite, Mark, keeps his cell phone with him and answers it! Mark provided the lowest of three estimates I obtained for granite or quartz-based countertops, and he stuck to the estimate. He also included more, such as the two bathroom sinks. He is incredibly fast: I chose my granite slab on Monday, on Tuesday he came to measure and offered to install on Friday. He did extra work that was not part of the deal: he shortened the molding that was under a wood kitchen ledge he replaced with granite to make it look better, and someone working with him straightened the molding, which had originally been installed bowed. Europa Stone, a granite supplier Mark recommended near his workshop in Sterling, had a good supply of granite and was very helpful. Once I chose the slab, Mark obtained it directly from Europa Stone. I am extremely pleased with the service and with the gorgeous countertops.
Description of Work: Mark replaced my tile kitchen countertops and cultured marble double vanity bathroom countertop with giallo veneziano granite (42 sq ft in all, including back splashes and the ledge between my kitchen and dining room). Included in the price was virtually everything: two Kohler undermount bathroom sinks, stainless steel undermount kitchen sink, and kitchen faucet; tear out of old countertops; cutouts and drilling of holes. I provided the bathroom faucets and paid for the plumber to come reconnect everything (and was very pleased with the plumber Mark recommended). I also need to do the caulking at the top of the backsplashes.

It could have been done even sooner (one week after granite selection) but we delayed the installation to coordinate with other kitchen work (appliances and painting) to be done. Installation was accomplished with only one seam being necessary. Owner even came back (next evening) to drill an additional hole needed to accommodate a change in the plumbing we need to make.
Description of Work: Replaced kitchen countertops and island countertops with granite (approx. 85 sq ft; including back splash). Part of the project was a slight enlargement of the island countertop.

They came on site and were very professional to work with. There was one issue in the master bathroom called a fault line in the black marinachi. He had outstanding reviews on Angie's List and that is why I went with him. He did a great job for the most part, and I would recommend him.

Accommodated my schedule and installed a quality product. Had to make modifications to 21 year old cabinetry to make a good install and did so without extra charge. Easiest home improvement project ever!

Mark was very nice and was able to give us a great price and same day installation of the granite we selected. Installation took only about an hour and a half. We will definitely use Mark again for future projects (i.e., kitchen countertops, additional sinktops, etc.)
