GALLAGHER'S PAVING

I thought that they did a good job, but I found a problem. I tried contacting them several times, but I still have not got a response. They made an excuse for awhile, but nobody called me back. Then I talked to the owner, and he didn't even get back to me. It has been over several months now. I would not recommend them to anyone at this point.

Angie's List has removed my original positive rating for this company at my request. I was happy with the original work (Oct 07) until it rained. The way they graded the slope of the paving in front of my garage causes my garage to flood. They initially acknowledged the problem and said they would schedule me for a fix in the Spring (08), but they have failed to do so and have now become non-responsive. They have also failed to follow-up on the sealing the promised me to cover up the seams that resulted because they ran out of asphalt and had to return the next day.

I called them and wanted to get an estimate from them for my driveway, but they never responded. I hate to just go on one estimate, but it is frustrating when they don't even respond.

They did a good job. It was a difficult driveway to do, and they may have rushed a bit to get the pavement down before the grading was perfect, but the driveway turned out great.

Prompt and the price was very good. I just haven't done anything with the driveway yet but I was very impressed with the attitude and consultation. Estimated cost was $4,500.

I was very disappointed about the missed appointment and lack of follow up to my second call. I was surprised to have such an overall negative experience because my original contact had been so positive.
