He is very thorough and detail-oriented.

John did a great job - very responsive to my request, which was initially just the gutter cleaning, but he noticed that the gutter was pulling away from house. While he was here I mentioned that we had some issues w/ the dryer vent and bathroom vent. He cleared those while he was here as well.

John was very quick to respond to my inquiry. He made an appointment with me the same day, I was thrilled. John repaired both toilets, was quick and affordable besides being so friendly. Will definitely use him again.

The appliance was installed but i paid twice what anyone else would have charged for the same work. He took full advantage of not aggreeing on a price upfront, then wasted a lot of time. This was the worst service i have ever had.

He is great in most areas but sometimes over streaches his abilitys beyond plumming.

While John called to do the work, he was ill and never completed the work. After over a month, he told me to look for someone new as he was unable to do the work.

I was in the process of installing a new shower faucet assembly in my bathroom and had shut off the main water valve. However, once I was done, I turned the valve back on and it started seriously leaking. Unfortunately, this was on a Saturday evening and I ran through about five numbers before I found John's. I was afraid that I was going to have to shut off the water at the street and wait until Monday, but John came over, diagnosed the problem quickly, tightened everything up to stop the leak, and explained what had happened and how to prevent it in the future. All of this at night on a weekend for a reasonable rate. Fantastic experience.

How did it go? It went the same way it always goes when I call someone from Angie's list: Sucky. After being badgered for model numfber and serial number, the supply just flat out refused to call back to schedule an appointment. I supplied three different phone numbers, so it was not a case where there was a wrong number. Finding qualified, competent suppliers in this region is next to impossible.

John agreed to a next day appointment. He arrived and began troubleshooting to see if the problem was electrical in nature or was related to the appliance. He diagnosed the problem (faulty switch) quickly, and bought a new one at the local Home Depot since the part he had on hand was not a cosmetic match. He was on site for a little over 2 hours, and billed me for 1.5 hours at a rate of $75 per hour. He was a few minutes late due to a family obligation, but he called to notify me. For future issues he will be the first service I call, I was very satisfied with the level of service I received. I felt comfortable with his knowledge and level of professionalism.

John, owner of the company and repairman, was very thorough and responsive to our requests. He returned our phone calls promptly and gave us accurate estimates. We felt his price was fair for the work accomplished. So far, the work has held up and appears to have alleviated our concerns for the longer term. Time will tell. He called OFTEN, throughout the repair work. The only part of the experience that wasn't completely to our satisfaction is that John recommended several other items that might need repair....as in he appeared to be looking for ways to do more than just the work we had asked to be done. I suppose he is interested in future business, can't blame him for that especially in light of the economy, but we want to be the ones to call him when we need something done, not be "talked" into fixing things that we are not yet ready to repair/pay for. This property is a rental and we manage it ourselves. We will use him again for future repairs...in fact have already contracted with him to fix a broken pipe that ruptured in the cold weather. Will comment on his plumbing skills when appropriate.

John is an excellent handyman to have. He does every job, no matter how small. He is always willing to give advice on things unrelated to the actual job his client has hired him for. He is willing to work around your schedule and understands people work for a living, and is willing to work evenings and weekends. He performed the work excellently and took great care to make sure it only has to be done once. He warranties his work for the life of the installation. He is educated and very professional. He is clean and respectful of people's homes.
