Description of Work: I had an interior design consultation. I thought it was useful although I wish we could have come to decisions on things.

Description of Work: I got two hours with a nice person who I suspect is very good at what she does. I have no time so wanted to connect with someone who I could turn the work over to and know how much it would cost me. I'm confident the work would have been done and done well. I was told I would know how much it would cost (estimate). I ended up with paint samples and assurance that Yes, we can do the work. I chose not to pursue something I thought I should have been given for my $149. so bowed out.

Description of Work: Paulanne was wonderful. I requested paint colors for 5 rooms. I've had 3 of them painted and I'm thrilled with her choices. Every color is compatible and the house has a coordinated feel to it. A vast improvement. I plan to ask her advice for my next project.

Description of Work: Recently I worked with Ms. Paulanne Gregson of Exquisite Designs to change the decor of the master bedroom in my house. There was nothing physically wrong with the room except that I was experiencing emotional stress every time I passed or entered the bedroom. My wife of 41 years had died unexpectedly in her sleep from a massive cardiac event in that room on 4 January 2012. Memories are wonderful at times but quite emotional at other times. Anyway, I discussed with Ms. Gregson that I wanted to change the entire style/design of the room to one more welcoming and comfortable for me. She assured me that she could accomplish that goal and at minimal cost. We discussed which items could remain in the room and identified those that would be removed. Ms. Gregson then took measurements of the room and departed to commence her search for items that she planned to utilize in her design. Over the next few weeks Ms. Gregson visited her supply sources and returned with samples of materials for rugs, spreads, lamps, etc. She also had encouraged me to look through various home style catalogs and to bring to her attention any particular items or styles which I would like to have incorporated into her design. On several occasions I did provide her some recommendations which she welcomed and incorporated. In addition to acknowledging my input she double checked with her suppliers and found she could get the item at a better price. These cost savings were shared with me and saved me close to six hundred dollars. Over time we decided which items would be kept and the design was implemented. The bedroom is now my room and I love it. Exquisite Designs is without a doubt the best firm I have ever worked with in this area, (and I have lived here for over forty years) for the following reasons: They are extremely customer oriented and cost conscious; Client satisfaction is their mantra; She was extremely punctual for every meeting and was prepared to discuss the design status and any problems in getting an item if that was the case; Additionally each invoice submitted for payment contained a complete breakdown of the hours she worked on my behalf and the cost of materials delivered. And finally, every item ordered was personally inspected by her or her staff for defects and to ensure it was what she ordered. It was delivered only after this inspection. I have been totally impressed with the professionalism of Ms. Gregson and her staff and their attention to detail and client satisfaction. Ms. Gregson has an uncanny skill in being able to put colors and fabrics together so that they look fantastic in place. I heartedly recommend Exquisite Designs to anyone who wants to change a room's design or decor for a very reasonable price.
