Description of Work: DryHome re-caulked a leaky inside elbow corner and also placed a strip of tin on a stretch of gutter that had water run behind it. Robert was the technician and was excellent. I dinged on price a bit, but it is certainly nice not to have to worry about it.

Description of Work: I contacted them when a property I was responsible for actually had a hole in the roof. They came out the next day and checked everything out. Explained everything that needed to be done so I could understand. They also provided a great sample of the color as I needed to have everything approved by the HOA (very strict rules). The HOA was so appreciative of the sample size they asked to keep it. | |The Dry Home staff are great to work with and very efficient. I have used them on two different homes over the past four years.

Description of Work: The man who did the estimate was thorough and listened patiently to all my questions and provided simple, straight forward answers. When I decided to replace all of the sheathing the company rolled with the change without an issue. The roofers were professional and did a good job. There was some minor damage to things on the deck (insignificant but one should move everything out of the way - my failure) but overall I recommend this company and would use them again.

Description of Work: Dry Home did a complete roof replacement. The project included all new decking; a new peak vent system to replace old multi-vent system; installed new flashing; and replaced three skylights. | |Work was performed professionally and completed in a timely manner according to schedule. Work site was kept clean and the crew did a thorough clean up before departing. Crew used three magnetic takes to collect any loose nails and picked up all debris from the tear off. They followed up about a week later to do an inspection and take another walk around the house. We are very pleased with the results.

Description of Work: Replaced entire roof and installed 2 new replacement skylights. Very neat and prompt. Cleaned up quickly. Dry Home sent out a quality control inspector to check the work done as well as clean up. This work was done prior to 2011. Have recommended Dry Home to several people many of which used their services.

Description of Work: I received a call back stating that they were booked completely through the month of July, which to me means they aren't interested in my small job. If you've just got a few shingles or a flashing to replace, you'll need to look elsewhere...

Response from DryHome Roofing & Siding Inc
Thanks for your comments. After any major storm most reputable roofing companies receive many calls or internet requests. We have a repair staff of five that are working very hard to keep up with all of the work load. Unfortunately we take work on the order they come in and we do service all types of repairs as well as full replacements.

They did an excellent job.
Description of Work: We had a new roof put on by someone else in 2001 when the roof sprouted a leak I had them come out and give me an estimate. Not satisfied with their attitude I asked around for recommendations and several people recommended Dry Home. I had them out they gave me a competitive estimate made the repair on time and within budget. Since then we had some storm damage I had DryHome do the repair. I won't let anyone else touch my roof.

Description of Work: Company not very responsive - had to follow-up on the quote multiple times (one excuse was that my email went into the junk folder?? huh? the first one asking for a consult didn't...)and then have been told twice that I will be scheduled for the estimate I signed. Still no call to schedule - ever after following up several times. I have a bad gutter and because of it when it rains I get water in my basement - they don't really seem to have any empathy. They are probably only doing New Jersey repairs since they can probably charge an arm and a leg after all of the damage. Really disappointed with the service I've been getting.

Response from DryHome Roofing & Siding Inc
In response DryHome would like to respond with a time line of how events occurred. The customer called our office on October 10th to schedule an appointment to have the gutters looked at. Our technician was out there on Monday, October 22nd and an estimate was emailed to her stating in that email that as of that day our repairs are about 1-2 weeks out and forewarning her that it might be further not knowing the results of the upcoming storm Sandy and what we might have to reschedule. We did not hear back from her until she contacted our office requesting that the estimate be emailed to her again which I did on November 6th. Again, we did not hear back from her until November 13th stating that she wanted to proceed with the work and also requesting a picture of what the gutter screens looked like – an email that had gone into my junk folder. She emailed me again on the 15th of November stating that she wanted to move ahead with the work – and that no one had responded to her. I apologized that the email was not seen initially and answered her questions about scheduling and pictures of the screens. I also informed her again that to proceed with the work we do require a signed estimate be sent in before we will schedule – this was stated in the first email as well. The customer did fax over the signed estimate on November 16th and I acknowledged receipt of that signed estimate and emailed her a picture of the gutter screen she had requested so as to save her a trip to our showroom. Our Operations Manager called her on the 21st of November to let her know that the work had been scheduled for November 29th – again she was notified in the beginning that our repairs were at that time approximately 2 weeks out. As for her statement that representatives from our company are “probably only doing New Jersey repairs since they can probably charge an arm and a leg after all of the damage” is extremely offensive. For her information, DryHome has always been involved with giving back to our community – not taking advantage of them. As of today – two free roofs have been awarded to those in need during this Holiday Season - a single mother in Loudoun County and a women’s shelter in Arlington, Virginia. As for not having any empathy for her situation – it seems that she wants to blame us for a repair that she needed and she didn’t act on as quickly as she should have. Again, waiting 10 days from when she received the original estimate and another 7 days after receiving the same estimate for the second time. We do sympathize with homeowners and the issues they have with their homes and try our best to accommodate as quickly as we can. Unfortunately, by the time she responded hurricane Sandy had done its damage and we were receiving hundreds of phone calls and emails daily and did our best to respond as quickly as we could.

They were prompt and professional.
Description of Work: Dryhome conducted both a roof inspection and some minor preventive repairs (recaulking some areas and nailing some flashing). I have not been on the roof, but everything appears to be well done when viewed from the ground. They also pointed out that my 15 yr old roof may need to be replaced in 3-4 years. As we had "25-year shingles" installed when we last had the roof replaced, that seems a tad early, but reasonable. I will definitely keep them in mind when it comes time to do that replacement.

Description of Work: We developed a leak in the upper side of our house. We selected Dry Home from Angie's List. We set up an appointment and they gave us a solid price for the replacement of some siding. The leak probably occurred because the two pieces of the original siding were to short. Roberto Chapman got the replacement siding and came out and installed it in about one hour. We were very pleased with Dry Home and Mr Chapmen. Will use them again if needed.

Very well.
Description of Work: They quickly provided estimates and squeezed us into their schedule to replace a rotted portion of roofing before we web to settlement on our new home. They responded quickly and professionally -- in person -- to address and walk through an additional concern regarding gutters. They provided sound advice and good workmanship on the subsequent gutter install (as they had on the roof repair).

Response from DryHome Roofing & Siding Inc
In response to member. I want to clarify that on April 8th she had an appointment scheduled between 8 and 12:00. When our representative realized that he was running late we called to inform her and were able to get someone else out there by 12:03. In scheduling our appointments we try to allot enough time for our representatives to meet with each customer. However, sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control it does take longer than expected.
