Technician Jorge came out to troubleshoot our HVAC system that was knocked out due to a lightning strike that actually came through our roof then hit and traversed throughout our electrical system. It fried the air handler system in the attic and condenser unit outside as there were burn marks on the control panels of both units where they got zapped. Jorge diagnosed the problem and replaced the control panels in both units along with some other parts which saved us from having to purchase a whole new system. He was very professional and polite and explained everything to me in terms I could understand. When he was done everything worked fine just like it did before the lightning strike. Highly recommend them!

They were fantastic, beginning to end. They sent someone out within 24 hours of our HVAC breaking. Jorge was great - came on a Saturday, was very professional, pleasant, thorough, explained things clearly and patiently and answered all of our questions. Javier came with the installation team just two days later (on a holiday!), and he and the other guys were also pleasant and professional. What we were most impressed with was the quality of their work - they did not cut corners, but actually helped us to improve the location and base for our new HVAC, and all of their work looks great. They also laid down drop cloths everywhere they were working, and when they were finished and had left, the floors were spotless. We are beyond pleased with Donmar's service and will definitely stay with them. :)

My cooling system stopped working. I called the other contractor I was working with and they were much too expensive. I tried Donmar and they were quite a bit cheaper and I thought the quality was very high. So far, it's doing fine. They were terrific up and and down. I had a problem. It was 100 in my house and they were very attentive. I am using them. I have a service contract.

July/August 2015 my air conditioner died. I called multiple companies and Donmar was the only company that could respond quickly. Similar situation when the hot water heater had issues (April 2017). On each occasion i worked with the same repair representative - he was on time, friendly, and tidy.

Because I bought my system from them, they come and inspect it for free. I believe that is good for 2 years. They helped me out. They get the job done. It takes probably 15 or 20 minutes. The workers were great. They diagnosed and solved my problems. I don't have to follow up with them at all. They get the job done.

They were great and actually saved me money by making me aware of special program available from the manufacturer. Another provider incorrectly advised me that we wouldn't qualify for the discount.

They are always prompt and professional. They always give us pricing up front so we know what our options are and what it is going to cost. One time they found some mold in the unit and showed us a picture. They explained it could use more coolant or advised we get it sealed properly. We had them seal it. We would highly recommend them.

Installation of new heat/AC system went great. When our electronic filter had issues, they sent a tech over immediately. Couldn't be happier with the install and service. Highly recommended!

The process from the beginning of receiving an estimate to the end of the installation of the AC systems was easy, professional and without issues. I had to get two AC systems replaced right when it started getting hot outside in June. Donmar responded to my phone call within an hour and came out the same day to look at my aged and broken down systems. Estimate for two new systems was very fair price and importantly they could do the installation within three days. Don the owner of the company explained the details of the different systems, what the installation would entail and answered our questions with patience. At the day of the installations, the work crew was early and on time and proceeded with the work swiftly. Lead person of the installation crew was knowledgeable and explained well the aspects of the new equipment and the operations. Quality of work from what I can tell was great. Crew cleaned up everything once they were finished. We are happy with the systems that Donmar installed and also the entire installation process from beginning to end. Crew came back to check on a minor adjustment on AC without an issue. We used Donmar again in September for a new Water heater installation. Process was efficient and professional and fair price. I definitely recommend Donmar Co. Inc.

Donmar was able to quote and install the replacement systems quickly. Don came out to perform site visit and provide a quote for the replacement units. We were able work out the right options at the right price (all with no high pressure tactics). Don was also able to schedule the install very quickly. The install was a big one due to the fact we were replacing both systems in one day. The team of installers started early and worked hard all day to get the systems up and running. They were very courteous and laid down protection on all the services they used to travel through the house. It was a long day but we got two beautiful systems that run quietly and cool the house nicely. As part of the installation, we have one year service warranty with two visits. Donmar also filed all the manufacturer's warranties and provided us proof for our record. Overall, the experience has been a great one.

The staff was courteous and efficient during the installation. Most important, the company's knowledgable owner came out in person to evaluate the system and provide me with a price quote. He was extremely fair and advised me to buy a smaller a/c unit for the home because he felt that my original unit had been too large and had thus been strained going on and off all the time, rather than running for longer periods which also helps lower humidity in the home. Thus, I was pleased to pay less for a smaller unit that will serve me better. (My neighbors have a virtually identical house with a much larger unit for the same space.) After installation my summer electrical bills with a new efficient system dropped from about $200 a month to $80, while I now use lower temperatures. The company's owner is also knowledgable about my in-home split units and a high efficiency furnace I use, so I went ahead and signed a service agreement and the staff notated which members of their staff to always send who are most knowledgable about the manufacturers and models of equipment that I use. It is hard to find an expert in heating and air conditioning and I am extremely satisfied with the work that is completed and am confident I have a reliable service provider for the future.

I received five (5) reviews to replace my existing system. I came in with a bias (due to my own research) for either American Standard (Train) or Carrier. All five quotes (2 Carrier, 1 American Standard, 1 Train and 1 York) were similarly priced (within a few thousand either way). I chose Don Wills (owner at Domar) for several reasons. Firstly, he had a quiet, knowledgeable disposition. The other salesman acted too cocky and ready to slam the competition. Secondly, Don gave me several options and helped me choose which one by giving expected savings numbers along with the cost. This was very professionally presented and, again, with the humility of someone that does not have to prove himself. He also did not push for things I did not want (air purifiers, extended warranties, etc.). Afterwards, he was quick with tweeks to the estimate, emailing updates within the hour. Lastly, he sold Carrier. They showed up on time. Work was finished in one, very full, day. So far, we are very happy with the system.

It was great. It was a good service. They are always good.

The gentleman that came out was really great! I liked their responsiveness. The gentleman explained everything to me and looked the system over. He seemed very knowledgeable about the system. It was a good experience all around.

very thorough, they cleaned the inside of the furnace and checked all the connections for tightness and checked the voltage when the system was running to make sure it was operating within specs. Changed the air filter and humidifier pad

The initial appointment the service man was very knowledgeable and spent time explaining what he was checking and alternatives. Once the appointment was made the firm accommodated our plans and finished on time as promised. They covered and protected our floors.

The tech called when he was about 45 mins away. I was out and rushed home, and he was waiting on the doorstep. There was another guy there and I asked if they were together and the Donmar guy said the other guy was from another company. Turns out he was from the company that installed the A/C two years ago and had quoted me $90 to come out and then $220 to install a new thermostat because I thought that's what was broken. I said no, went to Home Depot, bought a thermostat and installed it myself, But that wasn't the problem. So, having told the other guy to leave, the Donmar guy came in, ascertained the thermostat works, and then we went downstairs, where I suspected the problem might be in the wall switch. He took off the panel on the A/c and said there was supposed to be a light on. It wasn't. He explained that the light needs power from two switches -- one inside the a/c unit and the suspect wall switch. We turned off the breaker and he took the wall switch apart and said there was a wire loose, and fixed it. Then he put the panel back on and it all worked... but only for three hours. When it broke down again, he was long gone and it was about 7 pm. I phoned Donmar, told them what was happening and who had fixed it. Within minutes, the tech -- Marco -- phoned me and basically talked me through everything: what kind of screwdriver head I needed to take the nuts off the panel, what to check (I'd watched him fix it so I knew that anyway). I got the panel off and the switch inside it was basically just dangling there with a suspect strip of electrical tape that the initial installers must've put there to hold it up. I think it was knocked loose because we opened and closed the unit a few times to fix it. Anyway - I fixed it all and posted my saga on facebook, whereupon a friend said she had no a/c, so I sent her Donmar's number and told her to ask for Marco. She did and he fixed hers, too! AND... Marco charged me for a service package, which means they'll come out again in October or November to check the heating. The total bill was less than half the amount I was quoted by the other lot and the service was prompt and professional and very pleasant. Marco's from Ecuador, so I am now cheering for Ecuador in the World Cup. Well... along with the US...

The service was fantastic. We called in the morning and were given a 12-3 service window. The technician called at 11:45 and stated he was 30 min away. The prompt service and call ahead were greatly appreciated given that it was a work day. The repair was diagnosed and completed very quickly. The technician was very friendly and professional.

First I needed convincing that the tankless water heater was the way to go. Called several local companies. Most would not provide a quote and offered little info. I called Donmar since they installed and serviced my Trane AC system and I had a service contract with them for my entire Trane heating and AC system for years. I had always s been pleased with the quality of service. I didn't know if they installed tankless hot water heaters. I called the company and received a call from Don Wills , President of DONMAR. He just had a Navien tankless hot water heater installed in his home and was quite impressed with it. He discussed the pros and cons of each unit and described the installation. I settled on the 210A for my size home and he gave me an estimate over the phone. Sent me an email with more information. Pretty nice! Had one of his team show up that week to scope out the job and location to install. Got an exact price which was right on with Don's estimate. Installation team showed up early the morning of the day agreed too and preceded with the demolition and preparation. Went very smoothly. Very professional job. Helped relocate washer and dryer after water heater installed on the wall next to the basement utility sink. Reused the existing PVC vent pipe and the condensate pipe drains right into my basement utility sink. Looks really nice and works like a charm. Highly recommend Donmar and Navien tankless hot water heaters. Price is about $1000 higher than just going with a similar replacement tank unit. But the warranty is longer and the reduction in gas usage cost makes it well worth the extra up front cost. Plus a got all that floor space back! And it barely make a sound compared to that old power vent unit. After three months of use, have had no problems.

I have an annual contract, which includes fall and spring cleanup. I have got discounts on parts and labors. They were definitely prompt. They came and informed me when they were going to come. They did the work ahead of time and did it professionally. They cleaned up and didn't leave any messes. They made sure all the parts were working. They made recommendations on anything that needed like a filter and stuff that might need to be replaced.

They were very professional and kept a really clean environment. They did a really good job and installed a very efficient unit. They showed me how to use the unit and walked me through it. They explained the new features. They kept everything nice and thorough. They did a really good job. They let me know how long everything was going to take. They didn't have any complications at all.
