Very well. Dave is a real professional. He communicated us well, provided a good quote and executed on the work really effectively.

Dave came out to look at the light for a replacement and let me know he'd have to call me back to let me know how much it would cost. I never heard back from him.

They came out and did a good job. They were very very good and thorough but they couldn’t find the cause. They came out the time they said they would.

Bottom line: They did a very good job. I asked for a card and saved it. I will use them again in the future. Details: I bought the floor thermostat ($150), Dave Hensel Electric provided the two wall switches at $40 each. They guarantee their work, to include the switches for 12 months. The repairman arrived about 30 minutes late, which was a surprise because I was the first appointment of the day. Regardless, once he was here things went smoothly. The bill was $265, not counting the thermostat.

Had a new gas range delivered replacing an electric one. However the salesman did not advise us that we would need a dedicated power line for the range. Range was installed but installer advised that we needed to get the outlet/line installed prior to the county inspector coming. This was the day before Thanksgiving and the range was the only thing we had to cook the Thanksgiving meal. I contacted Dave Hensel Electric and I was told they would have the men out on Friday at 9am. Figured that was OK because inspector probably would not be there yet. Got another call from Dave and he said a crew was just down the street and they could come over right after they were done with the current job. They arrived, very professional and friendly. Did what they needed to do at a reasonable price and we are now good to go. I have other electric work that needs to be done and will certainly use them again

I was intermittently losing power in two rooms. Technician Will replaced a GFCI outlet which seemed to fix the issue. The issue occurred again and Will returned a few days later and did some rather extensive trouble shooting and eventually replaced multiple outlets which fixed everything. Office staff very friendly and employees knowledgeable and arrive VERY promptly at scheduled time which is always great. The owner also called me several times for additional information and to make sure everything was fixed. Overall great experience.

These folks are the very best. Knowledgeable, honest, on time and reasonably priced. When a repair takes less than an hour they ask if I have anything else I need, since I have paid for the hour. There is always something of course.

The estimate was done in January, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the installation was delayed until September. Our plans changed slightly, and I had some questions that Mr. Hensel most generously answered. The work was scheduled quickly, within days, much to our surprise. My husband and I were completely satisfied with the quality of work done by his employees, Keane and Jay, and we will not hesitate to have them back for other work when needed. I have to say also that the office staff is wonderful, quick to respond and follow up. Outstanding service all around!

Outstanding. Electrician arrived precisely on schedule, quickly determined the primary problem (aging wiring, corrosion and loose connections), repaired it and the ceiling light in record time. Hensel is a front line operation - prompt, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Best electrical contractor I've dealt with in over 50 years of home ownership.

Couldn't be happier. Initial contact was prompt, estimate was performed within a couple of days, and the work is top notch. Dave was very flexible and accommodating with me and my wife's ever changing schedules. They also left the place very clean and neat, which is always appreciated. Finally, the price was reasonable. I have been thru a number of electricians over the past few years and will definitely use these guys again.

Mr. Hensel's electricians (Josh and his assistant) did an outstanding job with the installation of an additional recessed light in the rec room and three additional light fixtures in our utility room. There was no drywall repair work or touch-paint required and the crew was extremely professional, skilled, and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. They did a perfect job and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely hire Hensel Electric again in the future!

Office lady, owner, technicians all very responsive. Got a appitment within 24 hours, guys (Eric and Alex (?) arrive on time and fixed problem (mud room ligt had a sort), very quickly and charged me the onsite service call, Gave me the Angie list dicount. Happy from A to z. .I'm going to put them in my own repair list for other projects.

I misheard a repairman and I thought I was told that we immediately needed a new electrical subpanel so I put out for estimates. Mr. Hensel was very prompt in responding and when I explained the work I was having done, he told me I did not need the subpanel. He could have just done what I asked and made a fast $750.00. Instead he was honest and told me that the other company doing the other work should include the electrical work in their price. Because of his TOTAL HONESTY, I will be sure to call Dave Hensel Electric first next time! Thank you. There is still goodness in this world.

This was the third time we used Dave Hensel Electric (the other times were before we were Angie's List members). The scheduling process is very easy, starting with the helpful receptionist, who got us an appointment in a timely manner, and gave us an estimate over the phone. The crew even works on Saturdays, which is a nice benefit. We have had several crew members and each one was prompt, polite and professional. This job involved installing an outdoor outlet, as we never had one before and we wanted one to plug in our Christmas lights. In the prior 6 months, they also installed recessed lighting in our kitchen and under-cabinet lighting, extra outlets and replaced some switches. We will definitely use them again for any future electric needs.

Dave (the owner) came to give a detailed estimate of the work promptly as scheduled. Dave mentioned his crew had a good deal of experience with attic and bathroom exhaust fans and really seemed to know the best, least intrusive way to do the work. Dave's estimate was right in the middle of the 3 we received, so we went with him (he even provided an Angie's List discount unprompted). The crew showed up right on time, set up, explained the process, and kept me informed during the morning of work. They patched up the drywall nicely and cleaned up well. We were/are extremely pleased with the work and will use them again for future needs. It was really great to find a team with exhaust fan/ductwork experience as quite a few other contractors had limited knowledge (they would only either do ducts or electrical, but not both). Dealing with Dave Hensel Electric Inc. was a breeze and we're extremely happy with the work!

Showed up on time and performed excellent work. Ran new wire with cutting minimal holes to patch. would definitely recommend to anyone.

The smoke detectors were quickly installed. The doorbell took longer to install. The doorbell ended up requiring a second trip to install a transistor. The doorbell works great now. We have not had to put the smoke detectors to test yet (thank goodness).

Although price for his service seems steep, Dave took the time to read directions and install light fixture. Worked with caution in delicate situation.

Dave Hensel Electric installed the lighting beneath our new deck and installed the required 240v line for the new hot tub on our patio. They were extremely professional and did excellent work. They visited the house on several occasions and always arrived on time, completed the designated tasks, cleaned up after themselves and took the time to explain everything they had done to us. They obtained several required permits for us and assisted in preparing for the building and electrical inspections which we passed without incident. They offered us several alternate products and explained the strengths and weaknesses of each. The LED lights in the ceiling are attractive and give off more than adequate lighting for the area. They also installed a set of security flood lights with a motion detector for the back yard. Dave Hensel Electric is by far the best electrical services firm I have ever hired and will definitely call them for all other electrical needs. I highly recommend them.

Dave came out a few weeks before and walked through our house with us as we described everything we wanted done. A few days later we received a thorough proposal and estimate and scheduled the work. Dave and his team showed up promptly on the scheduled day and got right to work, there were at least 6 people here. The work was finished in that same day all to our satisfaction. They were VERY professional, neat, and clean, and managed to do all the work with minimal drywall damage. We would definitely recommend them in the future.
