Randy, the technician, was great. He was friendly, on-time and explained what he'd be doing.

Randy was on time, nice & professional and addressed all of my concerns. He sprayed the area I asked for, and payed extra attention to the areas I pointed out. This just happened today, So I'll have to come back to grade the effectiveness to see if it really lasts a month and if I dont have mosquitos or other flying pests over the next month.

I call Century out every year around this time for just a general inspection and treatment more to prevent issues than to get rid of anything. Their technician is always on time and professional. He points out anything I need to be concerned about and does a treatment inside and outside. I don't usually have to have them back out, but when I do, they are out quickly and again take care of the issue.

When I called they sent out the guy & he checked for the ants & even got the treatment completed the same day . I have not had to call them back ( even though they told be to call back if they did not go away ) . They were very nice & helpful. I will definitely recommend them to friends .

I feel like they just took our money. They should have never treated the house knowing that it would not be successful. All of the other companies provide a check list of the things that need to be done before treatment that takes place.

No service was performed.No work was done !!!

The tech apparently hadn't done a good job of explaining that we were sigining a "service contract" at the time of the initial visit. I called to complain that the problem was not solved, and they said they would send someone out to refill bait boxes ( I wasn't home for that visit). This is not what I requested and did not solve the problem. I had paid a bill at the initial visit for $95 and then wrote a letter to cancel service, after the problem was not getting resolved. They called us, not to help, but to remind us that we had to pay a cancellation fee of $285. They offered to send a manager out after I complained again. I asked if the manager would have a different strategy. Instead of responding to my question, they asked if we had seen any rodents since the bait boxes were installed. I responded that we'd never seen rodents, ever, just the damage. $375 later, no resolution. Century seems more interested in collecting fees than helping customers.

They walked around the yard with me and told me some things I could do to prevent snakes from coming in. Later, they claimed that they came to my house afterwards while I was not home without telling me that they were coming. They now want to charge me $85 for a service they may not have performed.

They do a good job. They come when they say they will. They are professional and friendly.

I just cancelled my service with them. I'm too frustrated with their accounts management system, and too busy to deal with it anymore. I've been paying them automatically from my checking account since 2007 for quarterly service. I set up the payments that way, and don't even think about it, it's done automatically. Last week, for the second time in a year, I got a nasty letter from them saying my account was deliquent and threatening a collection agency. Both times when I contacted them, they casually dismissed the letters ("a mistake, don't worry about it". What if I don't call? Since there are other good companies around and Century isn't cheap, I'm taking my business somewhere else. Oh, as for pest control? They're fine, but sometimes it takes a few visits to fix the problem (mice or ants).

On the positive side, they come back very quickly if you ask them too. We have an ant problem in our neighborhood and it usually takes more than one treatment which they come back quickly for. Once I was home when they came, the guy got out and did a brief walk around the house and then left. It didn't seem very thorough or a great value.

TL;DW It went as described above except that the only advice is that you get names and phone numbers because it is easy to not hear from them as agreed. Also, when you have an appointment, make sure you call them the day before to confirm and to avoid time slot changes. They were professional, thorough and friendly.

They did a wonderful for us. I would use them again in the future. They were very punctual and professional.

The guys who came out were great. We set up a quarterly contract with them. They came out weekly and they were supposed to come once a month to check how things were going. These guys came out weekly for about six weeks. They kept adding traps and they kept doing kinds of yucky stuffs. Since they got it under control, I actually have not seen them out. I totally recommend them, even if they are from Angie's list or not. I called them and they came right out too. They had a flat rate and the flat rate cover me quarterly basis; but they came out and bought the trap. They didn't send the regular guy; but they sent the same guy every time. He brought the supervisor out just to make sure they were doing everything right because he could possibly do to take care of the problem. I?m not locked into the contract with them. They did send the same technician to the house because he would know the problem. They will send out the supervisor as they need to make sure, they were covering all the basis of the project. They did inside the house and inside the attic. I had couple of sheds and they also cover the shed. They covered the outside as well, all for that price; so they were very reasonable.

They had to do a lot of work. They sprayed all around the house and sealed up the roof. The guys who came out were really good. There was a person who did the initial inspection and everything. Then they have technicians who come and finish the work. I had to get two different technicians to come out because one did not go up on the ladder to seal up the house. That is why I had to pay a lot of money for it. They did all the work on the inside and went up in the attic. They were here for a couple of hours but I didn't have them go up on the outside of the house. So I had to get two people to come out.

The service amounted to a service man appearing each month who was always pleasant and as far as I could determine did some routine spraying around my house. Each Spring I am invaded by small ants in my kitchen. Each Spring I had to call about the ant problem, the service man reappeared, went through the same motions, and left. The ants stayed. Each year I had to do my own close inspection and spraying for the ants. This went on for a number of years. Eventually I became proficient in controlling the ants so I cancelled the service. Since the ant problem was never solved, I wonder whether any protection against termites was accomplished. I am currently looking for a new service provider.

They would not provide pricing or treatment information over the phone, but did promptly schedule an Inspector. Inspector arrived at the house, and while he was late, he was courteous enough to call and let me know. Did a very thorough walk-through of the home and property, and provided a written estimate. The costs seemed higher than I anticipated - we were doing extensive remodeling, and perhaps were mistaken for a "young and dumb" couple, but we left not real comfortable with the cost of the estimate. Called around and got two other quotes from recommended Angie's List services. For general pest treatment, the services described were the exact same and the cost was $175-$225 cheaper (!!) for the initial treatment and the same quarterly cost thereafter from other area services. The termite treatment was $75-$125 cheaper from other area services than Century. I was a little surprised Century never called back and followed up after their visit. But, I ended up going with someone else anyway.

Century was able to send someone out for the inspection within a couple days of calling. The inspector was on time. He finished the entire inspection within 10 minutes. I was concerned about termites because this house had problems with termites with the previous owner. The inspector brushed off my concerns, and told me there wasn't anything that could be done because he "can't see through walls." The previous owners had some termite bait centers put around the foundation of the house, and I asked the inspector what they were and whether we should be using them. The inspector didn't even know what they were and had never heard of such things. He seemed very inexperienced and disinterested. I decided to cancel my contract with Century and went with another company after this experience, and am very glad I did.

Excellent service. The two representatives that visited me recently, Dun Boseman and Zac, were both very informative, and very happy to explain all treatments to me. The quarterly pest control is guaranteed. After a treatment, I found some ants, and Dun returned to my house, and treated the areas with ants for no extra charge. He explained how a recent deck washing had probably brought the ants to the surface, and showed me exactly how they were entering the house. He then treated the outside as well as the inside, and the ants are now gone!

When they stained the trim they left blotches all over the trim. They came out once and agreed the job was not done to satisfaction. I have called them a number of times and they have not returned my phone calls so they can finish the job. They then came back out and treated the house for termites and billed me when I did not approve the work.

They were very responsive to our inquiry. They gave us an estimate and made arrangements for the work to be done the next day giving us a two hour window. They called on the day to let us know when they would be there and were on time. Everyone I spoke to and worked with was friendly, helpful, and professional.

Had a real stubborn ant problem, but they came out every single time I called. Incredibly proactive in finding the source of my problem and I can now say, we are ant free.
