He gave an estimate on the spot, and told me how much carpet to order. He did a great job installing the carpet, but it took him 2 days when had quoted 1 and he had to come in for a 3rd day to install the stairs. The additional time was not an issue for us, but I could see how it would be a problem for someone who was on a tight schedule. He did a great job, the carpet looks great and the stairs look really well done. One thing to note is he tried charging me more after the work was done. I ended up paying the original estimate but it was a slight annoyance having to negotiate on that. He does take pride in his work and will make sure that the work is done right. The carpet installation the stairs was done really poorly and he took the time to re-template the stairs and make it look good. I would use him again because his pricing is very reasonable and he takes pride in doing a good job.

I called Carl in the morning and he called me back in the afternoon saying that he had some time and could come and look at the job in about one hour. When he showed up, he had his crew with him and said that they could do the job on the spot. It took about one hour for three men. They moved the furniture, loosened and stretched the carpet, and cleaned up afterward even running a sweeper. We were very happy with the results and would recommend this company for carpet work.

Carl Bailey is a very experienced carpet installer, having installed all types of carpet in both commercial and residential installations. As a commercial Interior Designer, I have used his services many times in the past and have always been pleased with his work. I purchase the materials and he provides the labor. He can also provide carpet and padding, as well as labor, if the customer wishes.
