He's super. He does wonderful jobs on old houses.

He did good work in the bathroom. The two fans installed in the bedrooms both come on when one of them is turned off and the same goes for the lights on the fans. We have to coordinate turning them on and off to keep one going while the other is off. The light above the sink flickers on and off. He told us he would come back with a new light and would reset controls for the fans to fix the problem. That was about 6 weeks ago and we have not been able to get him to come do the work.

Steve is fantastic! He does great work and obviously has a lot of experience. He kept the work area clean and has tools to maintain the drywall dust that can get everywhere. He worked super late into the evening to finish a job so that it would be ready for the drywall contractors the next day. We have several other home remodel projects lined up and Steve will be the one that I call again and again.

Steve was a very nice, efficient guy once he got on the job, and worked hard all day to finish what he had quoted. It took him longer than he anticipated but he stuck to his original quote without complaint. We used him on two or three different jobs. He did not show up a few times but had good excuses (family issues) so we continued to use him and would call him again, except we've now moved to NC!

Steve has been great each and every time we use him. He has a positive attitude, works hard the entire time, and is an honest guy. He also doesn't nickel and dime you - a couple of times he had to run out to Home Depot to pick up some parts, and he never charged us for that extra time. I will rely on Steve in the future whenever I need electrical work, and will recommend him to my friends and family as well.

Steve came the same day I called to look at and quote the job. He was helpful, friendly and professional. We agreed on a price, and he returned to do the work a few days later. It took him all day to straighten out our mess, but he persevered and continued on past 6pm at night. He charged us exactly what he quoted, even though we all knew it should have ended up being more. For his honesty and tech savvy and general customer I would definitely use him - and recommend him to others as well.

We have used this firm before and always found him to be responsive and competent. I first contacted him online and he responded within a day. We had bought the fan/light, but he said he could supply the other light. We set a mutually agreeable time within the next several days, and he was there on time. He finished the work in a couple of hours with minimal direction from me. Another well-done job. I

I had used Castle before so knew he did quality work. I e-mailed him on a Wed., he came to look at it on Friday, and installed the lights on Tuesday. He did the usual excellent job at a reasonable price.

They came out and gave an estimate. The cost ended up being exactly the amount of the estimate. They were very personable and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The job that they did was acceptable but I did have one problem with the whole process. They put in a wall outlet and the thing is so loose that if you were to plug something into it, the whole outlet will come out of the wall. When I called them they didn't return my calls so I had to find someone else to do it for me. They didn't have very good follow up and they are not too customer service friendly.

Steve arrived promptly and immediately asked where were the brackets for the lanterns he was to install. Fortunately, I still had the boxes where they were taped inside. He then proceeded to replace the old lanterns which he placed in the boxes of the new lanterns. We tested the new lantern installation and both illuminated perfectly.

They do really good work. I've been trying to get them to come back out to do some other work but they haven't been too responsive, so I feel they could improve on that. Everything else was just great, their quality of work is exceptional and their price was really good for the job's value.

Steve and Gary worked form 9:00 AM (yes, they were on time! until around 3:30 PM. They had to make one trip to Home Depot and another the Lowe's, to complete the job and were expecting it to take around 2 hours. They were clean, hospitable and worked clean. They were professional and Gary does carpentry on the side and will be doing some more work for me soon. Unlimited warranty, according to, Steve, the owner. WOW! Can't recommend anyone more!!

Steven and his partner showed up to do the estimate and they were very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. Spent a lot of time going through the house to cover all the projects necessary. Steve said he would get back to me via email with an estimate in a couple of days but he did not. When I called him after about 3 days he initially could not remember me and then said he sent me the estimate via email. Not true. Also, during our meeting, Steve's partner told me Steve was a master electrician. My neighbor suggested I verify the status of any electrician I was thinking of hiring by checking the Virginia licensing website. After I was blown off by Steve, I checked the site -- I should have done it initially to save me the time waiting for this guy to get back to me. I learned he was only a journeyman electrician. The thing that irks me the most, however, is him lying about sending me the estimate.

Steve responded more promptly than ANY contractor/service company I've EVER dealt with (i.e., the next day -- he even apologized for not getting back to me sooner!). He and Mark showed up on time, were efficient, friendly, courteous, and clean. We couldn't be happier with the job they did, and will definitely use them again. We've already recommended them to two of our friends.

Steve was very responsive, he came out the day after I called and he was right on time. He charged me $100/hour for his time and a helper. I think this is a little high, but I will use him again because he is very easy to work with and he knows what he's doing. It's hard to comparison shop with electricians because some charge travel time and some will just quote a price for a given job. I actually prefer the quote for a job system rather than an hourly rate. But Steve is very easy to work with, I have already referred him to my next door neighbor, and I will call him again.

Very well. I had a very good experience with Steve during a prior job. Hired him on the spot to complete a second job. Because of his ability to get the job done well and on time. I hired him to put additional lights in my family room in the hope that it would be just as painless. It was.

It went very well. Steve was impeccably reliable, courteous, and hard working. He stands out above the typical contractor. I thought his prices were very fair and honest. I particularly appreciated his willingness to accommodate changes thrown his way and to work hard through unforeseen problems to reach a good end result. I highly recommend him for electrical/lighting issues in this normally tough market.

Steve did a great job. He called when he was running a little behind schedule to let me know when he would be there. All the work was professionally done. He was great about asking what I wanted done & making sure that he accomplished the task. The price was reasonable for all the work he did. He is coming back again to do additional electrical work in the future.

It was a very pleasant experience doing business with him.
