Cardinal Plumbing Heating & Air Inc was founded in 2013 by a pair of plumbers who had extensive industry experience, but knew their Northern Virginia customers deserved a better plumbing company. Description of Work: Work was done well but they scammed me. After fixing one toilet, one of the plumbers asked "What other toilet would you like us to do?" implying that the special covered two toilet updates. After updating the second toilet, they gave me a bill for $129. Either they didn't understand their own offer, or they deliberately scammed me.

What we do know is that we went to your home to install an American Standard toilet which was part of the deal that you purchased. Once our technician arrived he immediately noticed you had a wall hung toilet, which is not compatible with a conventional toilet. So we asked that you contact Angie's List to receive a full refund of your purchase. Now we did NOT bill a trip fee, and we are here to help you locate the exact toilet you need. Description of Work: We scheduled a de-clogging for our bathroom sink. They offered us a $149 Angies List special. When he arrived, the plumber pointed out that some of the pipes under the sink were a bit worn and the repair might make them need to be replaced. I agreed to this. However, I was astonished when he charged me more than double our original agreed-upon price for a few inches of pvc. The entire fix only took about an hour. I could not possibly recommend this provider.

We apologize that we did not provide you with excellent customer service, which is our main priority. Just to note, we do have flat rate fees and for the two projects that were performed in your home we would typically charge $420 ($225 for drain cleaning and $195 for trap replacement with tailpiece on steel drain pipes). We did honor an Angie's list discount on top of the drain cleaning special that we honored as well. We sincerely apologize that the final bill was too high, but we feel that it was just given the fact that the drain connection was not up to code and corroding at the trap connection. We do hope that all the services that were performed are still in working order and we do honor a one year guarantee on the plumbing repair.
