Danny was either on-time or early. He stood behind his work. He was friendly, helpful and honest. He cleaned up after himself. He did exactly what he promised, plus what was needed. His price was fair. I will certainly use Cardinal in the future. He is my new plumber.

I purchased the "Big Deal" and scheduled Cardinal Plumbing for work at 10 a.m. I received a call from Nikolai around 8:45 and the work was actually completed before it was scheduled to begin. I was in the kitchen making my breakfast, heard the door open, and was told it was all done. No more leak. Though I needed the hose bib fixed, I wanted an estimate for some other work on a bathtub. Nikolai gave me the estimate which sounds reasonable and a lot less difficult than I had imagined. All was done in less than an hour. I found Nikolai to be professional, quite personable, and enjoyed talking to him. He explained that Cardinal Plumbing is dedicated to being professional, reasonable cost, and doing quality work. Sounds good to me. and I will definitely consider using Cardinal Plumbing in the future and will suggest my neighbors contact them for plumbing services. $39 deal for one hour plumbing services. I had a leaking toilet; broken faucet; and a toilet bowl that needed to be reset. The plumber was on time, fixed everything in under one hour. Only additional cost I had was the piece for the broken toilet. He was polite, professional. I will call him next time I need a plumber?

Daniel arrived on time. He was clean cut, presentable and professional. His van was clearly marked and professional looking as well. Given the scope of work and the cost I really wasn't expecting a whole lot. This is the first time we hire someone through Angie's List and the first time we hire a plumber as we are first-time home buyers. However, he did a good job in bringing a sluggish toilet back to life. He was careful to keep things clean and put everything back the way it was when he arrived. He also took a good amount of time inspecting all the visible drains and plumbing and answering all the questions I had. He gave me some good information on simple things I could do maintenance-wise. Daniel also pointed out some issues we may have in the future with the kitchen drain because it was not done properly. I also asked him for a ball park figure on the cost of installing an exterior hose connection from our laundry room which is already on an exterior wall. His reply of $450 seemed on the high side but Daniel's attention to detail and keenness on doing things correctly may make it worthwhile. He took his time, paid attention to what I asked and never rushed me. They are a small start-up eager to work and build a customer base and they seem to be doing it right. I would definitely hire Cardinal Plumbing again.

The service was very professional, quick and comprehensive. All three toilets are now running efficiently and we are aware of other conditions that we need to look into. We received an estimate of a possible future repair within a day of the service visit. Overall we were pleased with the service we received.

Our toilet had been leaking water despite my earnest attempts to try to fix it, and the toilet seat had just broken, so we purchased a $39 Angie's deal for a toilet tune-up and home plumbing inspection. Danny (one of the two co-owners of the company) fixed the leak and installed a new seat (the cost of parts is what brought the total to $77). Afterwards Danny took a look around the house and did a quick adjustment on our bathtub drain stopper, which wasn't tight enough when closed. Danny was great and extremely pleasant. He showed up within the half-hour window he'd given us, took his time doing the work, and made sure the problem was fully resolved by the time he left. I'm a member of a small condo association and I will definitely recommend Cardinal Plumbing to other members.

We called on a Wednesday for non-emergency service and Nikolai was able to get us in on Wednesday. He actually called a few hours before he was due to arrive to see if he could possibly come early, which was great because it opened up the rest of my day. He was very friendly and even listened to my 5 year old tell him all about his Legos. He explained exactly what he would need to do, and updated me as things changed (he wanted to try to replace gaskets but the pipe itself ended up needing to be replaced). I felt very comfortable with him in my home and would definitely call him again if we need plumbing service.

The company asked if 8:00 AM would work for me. I told them that 7:30 would be better because after the plumber finished, I needed to get to work, and they agreed. He arrived at 7:30, on time, and after assessing the problem, got to work. He finished quickly and not only eliminated whatever was causing the problem (he had a better augur than I have), but he also cleaned the jets from the tank into the bowl and lowered the arm in the tank, thereby making each flush use less water. He was professional, punctual, efficient and effective. He got the job done and allowed me to get to work almost on time.

Nikolai fixed problem with toilet in master bathroom. He reported everything else he found. The outside faucets need to be replaced, but he told me it would be very expensive, so I opted not to do it. I just get wet when I use them! He put shoe covers on when he entered the house and cleaned up any trash he had created. I was very pleased. I can't believe this deal was only $39!

Plumber arrived on time and was resonably priced.

The plumber looked at the main pipe bringing water into our townhouse condo and noticed it did not have a pressure reducing valve on it,, which may well be a violation of code. This valve would have protected us from the toilet issues. After fixing the toilets we discussed putting on the missing valve and other future needs. The plumber, Nikolai, is the owner. He is a master plumber and was professional, patient with all my questions, and a pleasure to work with. I will absolutely use his services again.

The owner, Nickolai, called me to confirm my appointment, and again just before he arraived. When he came in my house, he immidately put on plastic shoe covers to protect my carpet. He did an inspection of all the plumbing in my house (told me to go to Lowes and change out my plastic washing machine connectors with metal ones, or offered to do it for a fee.) Then he fixed my broken toilet, and installed all new parts, and only charged me $90. He was very polite and professional. I will definately use his services in the future. AAA+++

He was excellent, but when we contracted with him to have other work completed the bill seemed high.

Service rep showed up right on time, work was done efficiently. Checked over my other plumbing fixtures, gave recommendations of what would need watching, without pressuring me to purchase unnecessary service. Even tightened a loose handle on my sink.

Danny and Nik were punctual, professional and clean. They were responsive from the start. They even called to confirm the appointment. Before they began the work they protected our flooring from the front door to the bathroom. The finished work looks clean and professional. During the process they even pointed out and took care of things we hadn't considered. An example is the toilet drain. Our original floor was higher than normal and had we not cut the toilet drain, it would have been sticking up too high for the new flooring. That could have been a costly mistake had that not been caught before the tile went down. As a homeowner contracting their own work, it's good to know that there are some contractors out there looking out for you. They will be the only guys we call when we have future work.

I used Cardinal Plumbing for actually a couple of issues I was having in my home. One, my water heater broke and another my faucet was damaged. The first time I called them, I think I spoke to a young gentleman named Danny and when he attended my call he was very pleasant and informative. When they got to my home, they were very professional in handling my issues and responded to all my concerns. They thoroughly explained what was going on and explained all my options. I did not feel pressured with them and I really appreciated that. Their pricing was very reasonable and I would honestly recommend these guys to anyone having plumbing issues. I am the type of person that whenever I receive excellent service, I always either let their manager know that they have a hard working employee or spread the word of a good company out there that can do the job and have friendly service! I called Cardinal Plumbing after finding them through a Google search for "gas plumbers" in the area of service. Cardinal Plumbing was courteous and was able to accommodate my schedule in a very timely manner. The repair was done by the President of the company and he was very knowledgeable and courteous. Since they offer free estimates, he assessed the work to be done, identified the problem, and quoted me $250 for the repair of replacing the gas regulator. During his assessment, he attested that our flame was low - a problem for which I initially called a Gas Fireplace service company as well as Columbia Gas. During the repair, I was notified that one of the two tubes - which are not hidden - was corroded and had a leak. He then stated he would simply cut the corroded area and reattach the tube. After the work was done, I was regretfully not happy with the work due to the following problems: 1. The final price for the repair went from $250 to $300, because of the tube that needed cut and replaced. Since this tube was not hidden, I believe this problem should have been identified to begin with - Not at the end. 2. Cardinal Plumbling preferred to not accept Credit Cards, due to the "service charge" by the Credit Card companies. This is not a consumer's problem, and businesses should be willing and able to accept any form of payment. 3. In the final testing of our fireplace, the flame was no more than 1-2 inches higher than before the repair. Therefore, although we have a new regulator, the price charge does not justify the work that was done.
