Perfect! The Angie's List deal was about half the price of the normal service cost. Cardinal Plumbing did an excellent job (about an hour of labor), and their prices seem much lower than other plumber's I've used in the past. They came out within 2 days and were on time as promised. I will use them for my future plumbing needs.

Daniel was very friendly and knowledgeable. He not only came and quickly unclogged the drain, but also took the time to answer my questions about seemingly low water pressure and ended up replacing my broken hose bib (which wasn't planned when I made my initial service call). Working with a small business owner was great and I felt like I was able to ask questions without worrying about watching the clock. I would highly recommend Cardinal plumbing and will certainly keep their information on hand should any other plumbing needs arise.

I had a very stubborn bathtub clog in my house I just bought and after trying everything I could do myself I finally broke down and brought in the pros--and these guys are 100% pros in every way. Showed up on time,minimal intrusion, and stuck with the job until absolutely certain it was done effectively.

Initial inquiry call went great with a quick response, he provided the brand of hose bib to be used, answered a few questions about the installation process, provided a price estimate that was much more reasonable than others and the ability to come evaluate and perform the work (if estimate validated/approved) over the weekend for no extra charge due to their availability. They arrived on time, evaluated the needs, performed the work and explained the differences to expect when using a frost free hose bib. Everything went great, would highly recommend, and will likely use them again for any future plumbing needs.

While calling around trying to get estimates to replace my front hose bib, most companies would not give me even a ballpark number on the phone, and instead wanted to charge me to come out to the house to give me a quote. This estimate fee was anywhere from $69-89. Cardinal Plumbing, however, gave me an estimate on the phone and also answered any and all questions I had about the job. Based on this, I hired them to come perform the work. Nikolai, who I later found out was the owner of the company, arrived at my house five minutes early and was very professional throughout the process. Although I had original scheduled an appointment to just replace the hose bib, I experienced a leak that morning, and Nikolai was quick to diagnose both the new issue and still found time to replace the hose bib. In addition to being professional and helpful, he was also very pleasant and customer focused. Lastly, Nikolai was extremely neat and left my house exactly as it was before he arrived. I would not for a second hesitate to hire Cardinal again, though I hope to not need them for some time. Highly recommended.

The provider arrived early for the appointment and although the "Deal" was to replace the hose bib, he pointed out the brand currently installed was top of the line and he wouldn't want to replace with a lesser item. He also discovered that it was simply a freeze proof gasket that needed replacement rather than the whole hose bib. I rated the price as a "B" because the cost to replace the part was quite steep, although it was the price of the Deal so I don't really have a good metric to rate it on.

Had a leaking water line and a water treatment system to remove from the line. I made my Angie's list purchase on a Sunday evening ($119 special with 1 hour service), and within hours Cardinal Plumbing responded. As requested, I called them first thing Monday morning to get my appointment scheduled. I was super happy to hear that they might be able to send out one of the two technicians who were both in my area that morning. Steve called me a couple of hours later and told me he was done with his first call and could be out at my house within 30 minutes. Steve was very professional. He did have to get some supplies (new pipes) from the store to be able to connect the lines. He removed the water treatment system and now the lines work (and look) great. While the issue at hand wasn't a difficult one to solve, I really-really appreciated the fact that Cardinal Plumbing was willing and able to schedule me in on such a short notice/request! Overall a good experience. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Nickolai was our technician; he was very pleasant, professional and clean-cut. He kept me informed, and took great care to clean up behind himself. The bathroom fixture turned out to be the most complicated. We surmised that there must have been a small plastic ball dropped into a pipe some how during construction (the house is 10 years old) that eventually made its way to the feeder for the bathroom fixture and blocked the flow; it was quite difficult to find/fix. Nickolai was not sure the ball really came from the pipe, but after he explained what he did and showed me the ball he found upon emptying his bucket, I was certain his guess was correct, and that it came from the pipe - must have been floating around our system for years until it made its way to a pipe small enough to block the flow like it did - I don't presume it could have come from the water system into my pipes, but who knows. Anyway, very happy to have use of that sink again. Compared to another plumbing bill I paid last year from another company, and given all the work Nickolai did (he was at my house for 6 hours), the cost for all the work seemed very reasonable to me. I would also point out that Cardinal was able to respond to my needs on only 3 days notice; in fact, they were ready to send a technician the same day I called, but I was unable to leave work. I had planned a day off mid-week; I had other appointments and asked he arrive after noon - like clockwork, that's when Nickolai showed up. I would definitely recommend Cardinal to my neighbors, and I will call them the next time I have any plumbing needs.

The technician was fast courteous and competent

They returned our call for work to be done immediately and took time to answer all our questions. They arrived ahead of schedule to do the work, which was done within a week of our call. One of the toilets we wanted was not available so they upgraded with a different brand for no extra charge. The owner was very knowledgeable, which helped us make decisions about what to buy. Very impressed with this company and highly recommend.

WOW, this company understands excellence. They will be our plumbers from now on. Here's why: 1. Efficient and courteous communication. This alone sets them apart from most home maintenance professionals, who are often unresponsive to calls OR blunt and less than pleasant to deal with. My calls were answered promptly by a human (not a machine) and my questions were handled patiently and thoroughly. 2. No hidden charges. Their prices are straightforward and what you are quoted is what you get. I have come to dread the common practice of service providers who use a rock-bottom quote to get in the door, and then start adding fees and other costs. None of that nonsense with this company. 3. Since we had the first appointment of the day, they gave us an exact arrival time (no window of 1-3 hours) and they arrived promptly, actually a few minutes early. 4. Mr. Matveev worked efficiently and did an excellent job in just one hour. There was a complication with access which I was afraid would result in a much longer time than he actually took; he was able to work around it and we now have a much more ideal situation than when he started. 5. No price gouging on the parts, and he had everything he needed; he did not have to go out to get anything more, despite the unusual situation with the pipe. We live in an older home (25 years old) and I have learned that almost everything we have done seems to end up taking more time than we thought it would. Today I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficiently our plumbing problem was fixed. If only all companies were more like Cardinal Plumbing, home maintenance would not be nearly as stressful as it usually is. Thank you, Cardinal Plumbing!

After researching plumbers on Angies List, I called Cardinal Plumbing at 3:30PM on a Friday. I expected the earliest appointment I would get would be Monday. I was stunned and delighted when Daniel indicated he was finishing up a call just 5 minutes away and could come by NOW. He got my garbage disposal working again and replaced a part in the toilet tank. Not only didn't he charge me for the part, he gave me a great deal on the price due to Angie's list. Daniel was knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. I would absolutely hire him again.

Nikolai took the time to explain the materials he planned to use (actually during the site inspection and during the service call), made a very clean installation, cleaned up after his work, and showed me what he had done and how it worked.
