We did not hire them and went with a less expensive option. However, they were very punctual and responsive and gave us an estimate quickly. There team was very professional. I would consider them for other jobs.

We received a notice from Loudoun Water that our meter was moving at a rate of 3 gallons per hour, which indicated a possible leak. We called Cardinal Plumbing, which has done work in our home in the past, to check it out. Jose O. was the technician dispatched. He determined that one of the toilets needed a flapper replacement. He indicated that, while Cardinal would be glad to do the repair, a flapper replacement was a very easy job for homeowners to perform themselves if they wished to save on the cost of the repair. We decided we would replace the flapper ourselves. We asked about a dispatch fee for the evaluation, and Jose indicated that there would be no fee charged that day, and that our calling Cardinal Plumbing was appreciated. He was very personable. We're so glad to have a trustworthy local plumbing company to call -- thank you!

Nick K. was on-time & professional. He listened carefully to our concerns about a shower leak. He inspected the area and was able to resolve this issue. I am a repeat Cardinal customer and have recommended them before and will recommend them again.

Cardinal Plumbing responded rapidly to my request for an estimate. The price they quoted was competitive, but what particularly impressed us was Mark's detailed explanations about what would be required to do the work and what our options were. Once we selected Cardinal to do the work, they came out in a matter of days to install the water heater and utility sink. Mark showed us what he had done and indicated how to maintain the equipment. When one of the water hoses sprung a slow leak, he rushed back to replace it. We are very pleased with Cardinal and intend to continue using them for our plumbing needs.

All things considered, it went excellent. I contacted Cardinal via Angie's List on November 19 and scheduled an appointment for November 26. They could have come earlier, but it was not an emergency and we were not available. The technician, Larry Dunn, called before he arrived to confirm the appointment and then arrived promptly at 8:00 AM. He diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes and then had to leave to purchase the expansion tank I needed. He returned and spent over an hour installing the tank and the parts for the toilet. Larry was courteous, answered my questions, and very careful in the house. He also had the booties for his shoes, which we like to see. He showed me the pricing estimate upfront on his tablet and did what he could to contain the cost. I rated the price as Fair because it seems like a lot for what he did, but I realize some this is a function of living in Loudoun County.

We were pleased with Cardinal Plumbing and would use them again.

Tony arrived as scheduled and explained what needed to be done to correct the plumbing issues we needed addressed. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly and completed all the work quickly and kept all the areas clean. He replaced our old main water shut-off valve with one that is much easier to shut off and on. He also demonstrated how the new shut-off works. Our prior shut-off was over 20 years old and we were unable to turn the water off. He was also kind enough to replace the shower cartridge which we had obtained from Moen at no additional charge. This helped resolve an ongoing water dripping issue with our shower. I will definitely use Cardinal in the future and will recommend him to my friends and neighbors. I have used other plumbers with mixed results and now am so happy to have found Cardinal and Tony.

GREAT - the gentlemen that did the work was professional and fast. They actually responded the same day I called them to request service. Will defiantly call them again if I have a plumbing need.

I had Cardinal replace much of the horizontal hot and cold copper piping on my first and second floors. Additionally, they installed a pressure regulator and a shutoff valve for my external hose bibs, and reset a leaking powder room toilet. I was very pleased with the work that Cardinal performed. Larry, the technician that performed the services, did a great job guiding me through my options and then implementing my decisions over the course of 2 days. The results were neat, and site cleanup was great. Would definitely hire again.

The company was very nice to speak with on the phone and they set up a same day appointment for me. The plumber , Mark, was very prompt and courteous. He quickly determined that the old machine was burned out and would need to be replaced. He purchased a replacement, installed it and completed the job efficiently. The replacement was expensive, but I knew that these devices are costly. The experience with this company and the plumber, Mark was excellent. I will call them again for our plumbing needs!

This company is fantastic. Willie, my technician/plumber who visited my home for an estimate, was punctual, courteous, informative, and polite. The customer service that the company's representatives provided me with was excellent, too. I had an issue with a slow bathroom drain and he fixed it within 10 minutes. When I went to pay him for his services, he waived the fee saying that since it was such a minor issue, he would not charge me! That kind of courtesy is rare these days and it did not go unappreciated. I would definitely recommend this company to potential customers.

Each appointment he was early for the assigned appointment time and called ahead to make sure I was aware of arrival. Both times my technician was Nick Parr and he was polite, professional, knowledgeable and through when explaining the pricing.

This is the second time I have hired Cardinal Plumbing for a time sensitive repair. Both times, they have been quick to respond and diligent in assessing the problem. Their technicians present options at very reasonable prices, give honest recommendations, and go above and beyond the necessary work. I have used Angie’s list for years, hired several companies to do a variety of work, and have found excellent companies- but none more professional than Cardinal Plumbing Heating and Air.

I called Cardinal Plumbing at 8 a.m. and Shawn was here by noon at no premium cost for same-day service! Also, he was great! Really knew what he was doing. He said it was going to be a big job, and it was. The pipes were extremely hard to access and at weird angles and he had to work from both sides of a wall and into the ceiling. The more he got into the wall, the more stuff he saw, but he never upped my original estimate. I think I was undercharged -- he was here the good part of a day, and his work was impeccable. I would definitely hire again.

Cardinal Plumbing was terrific. Special kudos to Nick, Tommy, and the service manager, Limbert. They were the most professional, hardworking, and decent crew I’ve ever hired, for anything at my house. For the powder room sink, in particular, Limbert and Nick did an exceptionally good job in a tricky, confined area, at a fraction of the price that a larger, general service renovation contractor would have charged. Everything about the experience was great.

Larry was fantastic educating me about the problem and explained what needed to be done to address the issue. Work was done promptly and with care.

Great! Mark K. was on time and ended up needing to spend most of the day here to get all of the work done. Was able to find the leak source quickly (had to cut through a wall to do that). Filtration system was installed with no issues. Mark was very friendly and professional. I've used Cardinal on several occasions and have found the service consistently excellent. The cost was not bad, but plumbers are not cheap, which is why I gave that a C for average / to be expected.

Great experience; very professional, explained clearly the problems and provided options and quotes for repair options, was clean and careful of floors and surfaces. Would hire again for future work and would recommend highly to others.

The project went extremely well and the plumber discovered that I had to replace my original builder grade piping which drove the price up but overall I am satisfied.

We heard from Cardinal less than an hour after claiming the deal, and the plumber, Tommy, was at the house not more than an hour after that. I decided after consulting to expand the scope of the work to replacing all of the cutoff valves in all the bathroom sinks - a total of six - and he showed me on his iPad the parts that they use and their cost. He was back early the next morning and finished in short order. Cardinal is now our go-to for plumbing services.

Cardinal responded quickly to my Angie’s List request for an estimate to repair a leak on my main water line. They sent out a technician to work up a quote and explain the possible options depending on where the leak was located. Once I accepted the quote they were quick to schedule a team to come out the next day. The weather cooperated and they were able to dig down and locate the leak in short order. The team was able to make the necessary repair and then fill back in the sizable hole they had to dig. Because of the recent rains, in addition to the leak, it was a little bit of a muddy mess but they did a great job of putting the yard back together, seeding the grass and general clean up. I appreciate Cardinal for their responsiveness, professionalism and willingness to work with me regarding financing.

Overall great; I supplied some of the hardware (specialty mixing valve), one of which failed the pressure test. Tech (Larry) had to come back at nominal fee (very reasonable) once Moen had replaced my valve; Larry gave me great system q/c and walked through everything I needed to think of in finishing my project. Great to work with and very helpful throughout. Would definitely work with Cardinal again.

I called Cardinal Plumbing, Heating & AC about my kitchen sink fawcet. They scheduled a plumber to come out the next afternoon. He took my fawcet apart and located the faulty part. Since the fawcet make is a Blanco, he said he would try to locate a replacement even though the fawcet is about 12 years old. While on the call he also repaired a leaky outside fawcet on my front porch and repaired a fawcet in my master bathroom sink. Nick returned the next morning with a replace part for the kitchen sink fawcet and installed it. It now works just fine. I let him know that I am a senior and he gave me the discount. Nick was friendly, courteous and professional.
