It went great--George fixed the warped rubber flush valve seal -- toilet is working fine! Great customer service--was on time and very friendly + it only cost me $55 (included the Angie's List discount of $100)!

Cardinal plumbing did an excellent job repiping our house and left the site clean at the end. We then had another firm close up the dry wall holes.

After a series of pinhole leaks over three years, we had Cardinal Plumbing repipe our 38-year-old house with L copper and install a whole house water filter to remove the chloromines additives in Fairfax Water. From start to finish the project went surprisingly smoothly. Cardinal Plumbing was not the cheapest of our estimates and they do not do wallboard repair, but we consciously chose to go with a quality plumber and dry wall repair specialist rather than a do it all contractor. The Cardinal installers, Wilmer and Hecter, were professional, competent, and very polite, and they worked very well together as a team. They showed up on time each day. They listened when the customer spoke and explained what the best approach would be. We had water turned back on before they left each evening. Wilmer and Hecter were exceptionally careful to clean up at the end of each day and to check their connections for leaks before leaving for the evening. Before they cut holes in wallboard, they hung plastic from ceiling to floor and vacuumed as they went to minimize spread of dust. Holes cut in walls and ceilings were as even and small as feasible. At the end of the project, our home was almost as clean, albeit with wall and ceiling drywall holes, as when the four-day project began. The company vice president, Daniel Fuentes, is a master plumber with 18 years experience. He came to the project the first day and several more times to ensure work was being done to our and his satisfaction. His attention to detail and the training he provides his employees was clearly reflected in the plumbing work in our home. We highly recommend Cardinal Plumbing for quality plumbing services.

He arrived on time and was very pleasant, careful around my belongings, and focused on completing the job. Most importantly, he was successful in repairing the toilet in ver short order.

Initially, I thought the work was expensive but at least the leak on the floor was corrected. After the plumber left I realized that the toilet now had a constant drip inside the toilet that was not dripping prior to the work being performed. Also, the components in the two toilet tanks seemed to be cheap universal components. I phoned Cardinal Plumbing and registered the complaint. The plumber phoned back and stated that the problem with the dripping into the toilet is unrelated to his work.

The technician was polite, professional, and arrived on time. He explained their services. I thought that the price was high for the job considering it only took him ten minutes to do it.

Cardinal Plumbing came in and found the problem right away. Suggested a short term solution and a long term solution with the cost. I choose the long term solution and he had all the parts and went to work right away. The pipe was fixed and water flowing in short order. I would have Cardinal Plumbing again.

Cardinal Plumbing arrived at our door at the exact hour scheduled (we really appreciate punctuality). Our shower had been running cold after a brief period, and the plumber, who was very courteous and efficient, turned up the temperature and gave us a good evaluation of our current 13-year-old hot water heater. Some extra work was completed upon recommendation of plumber (scraping some rust off of an area of the hot water heater), which in retrospect I'm not sure we needed, but overall we felt it was an excellent experience. The cost I'll mention in the text box below will include the price of a visit and the extra service. I bought the Angie's list "offer" which made the cost of the service less than what I'm listing.

The technician was pleasant, but seemed hurried. He conducted an initial assessment and concluded that it was possibly coming from the bathtub directly above the bathroom and the overflow valve was loose or not properly sealed. He sealed both bathtubs above the bathroom and fixed a handle in our master bathroom. The handle works great. I expected that they open the ceiling to find the source. I'm in the process of calling another plumber to fix our leak.

The plumber arrived on time. He was efficient in diagnosing the real problem, finding the incomplete connection, connecting it to the waterline and making the hose bib operational. The cost of the work was fair and I am completely satisfied. I wall call Cardinal plumbing in the future when I have a problem. Thank you Angie's list for making me aware of this service provider!

Excellent. Replaced my existing toilet with a new toilet (Gerber Piper 12" round front white toilet). The guy arrived on schedule and was very professional, organized and proficient. He completed the job quicker than I expected (about 1-1 1/2 hours). The new toilet works great and looks very nice. He removed my old toilet and discarded it. I should have done this a long time ago as both of my toilets have been a pain in the ... for several years now. I plan to purchase another special and have them come back to replace the toilet in my master bath. Thanks.

I purchased a $59 Plumbing Service Call Plus Credit Toward Repairs at Angie's list convinced that I will get a fair and honest price. The plumber came on time to look at the issue and I was told that it will cost $375 to fix it. It was a shocking amount to cut and replace a 15 1/2 inches long quarter inch copper, so the plumber offered additional $30 off to the $100 credit and it was down to $240. I paid an unfair TOTAL of $299 including $59 with the discount applied for the repair. I can pay another plumber for less than the total/final amount with out discount but I will be losing $59 since its non-refundable. So it left me no choice but to get it done. In other words the coupon was USELESS!

Service was excellent. The plumber showed up on time, in fact early. He installed a new part which he said would work better than the more traditional one I had bought, which I found convincing. Then he checked everything, including settings on the flapper, to make sure all was operating at optimal efficiency. He even tightened the loose toilet seat! At my request, he also checked a toilet that I had repaired more successfully and assured me that it was operating fine. Despite the fact that the $59 Deal included a $100 credit, I still had to pay an additional $95, confirming once again how expensive plumbing services can be. However, I was certainly satisfied with the result.

The result looks well done & there is no further leak. They provide a 1 year warranty parts and labor on work.

I will only use Cardinal Plumbing from now on and have already recommended it to several people. Danny, one of the company's co-owners, came out to diagnose the source of sewer gas in a basement bathroom. He thoroughly investigated all of our basement pipes, tightened some connections along the way, and pinpointed a couple likely sources. Danny then told me how to monitor them. It quickly became clear that the toilet was the culprit, and I scheduled a follow up to replace the seal. I really like how clearly Danny explains what he's doing and why. He was incredibly prompt - arriving exactly when the scheduler said he would. The company is way less expensive than several other that I got quotes from, and has more availability in the schedule. They are very professional, too, in everything from the pleasant way they answer the phones to the electronic (tablet-based) billing and invoicing system.

Tony showed up 2 minutes early to the job. We were scheduled for 8am and he showed up early ready to work. When he arrived he checked out what was going on and started to work right away. Tony measured several times to make sure what he was doing was going to be the correct decision and then told me what needed to be done. He soldered a new piece of pipe on the tub and then installed the tub spout. He did a great job, checked his work several times, and it all looks great. I am very happy with the work and glad that we called Cardinal!
