This rating has nothing to do with the technician that arrived within the agreed time frame and installed our garage door and reviewed how to work the door. His grade would be an A. However, Roy, who I assume is the owner of the company, is another story. I followed all the directions, that came with the new garage door, on how to link our cars so we could operate via the homelink devises in our cars. After many many unsuccessful attempts I called Roy to obtain his knowledge on how to link his newly installed door to our cars. He did not return my call after I left many messages in his voice mail. I was grateful and appreciative when he did return my call after multiple attempts. He offered some advice and said and quot;call me if this doesn't work and I will help you.and quot; Well his suggestions did not remedy our issue and I called him again. And I called and I called and I called and my husband called and I spent hours watching youtube videos, trying and re-trying and asking help from many sources. I was not successful in being able to open our garage door from our cars. This is a pattern with Roy...as I see his lack of response from another review and it was difficult for me to get in touch with him one other time in the past. I have never written a negative review about any business. My motto is...and quot;if you can't say something nice, don't say anything.and quot; I am a tolerate fair individual and Capital Door Inc has crossed the line. I feel it is important to prevent someone else from going through a similar experience. I realize garage doors can be tricky to link...but his lack of communication/assistance has been very unprofessional. We were able to get our garage door linked to our cars...but it came from a source outside of Capital Door Inc.

Had a little accident with the garage door - rollers and door came of track. Couldn't close the door, so Roy sent out someone the next day and had it repaired by the time I swung by at lunch. Very happy with the results - got the door working without a lot of additional work or repair.

I contacted Capital Door, Inc. by telephone around September / October 2011 to get the door seal replaced. The owner told me the seal would be ordered and he would call when the seal arrived to schedule installation. After not hearing back for over two months, I called and left word asking if the seal had arrived and when the work might be done. The company has not returned any of my phone calls. I've called repeatedly for 3 months now hoping to reach them to find out if the part has arrived and to schedule getting the work done. I agreed to have them do the work, but they don't communicate. Their phone is still in service and their voice mail takes messages, just no return calls. Since it has been over 5 months since I called and arranged for the work and they have not responded, I'm moving on to another company to do this service work. Just wanted to let others know about the problem is getting Capital Door to respond to phone calls.

We went to their warehouse area which is not far from us. There was someone right there to greet us immediately. At that point we walked into another room where they had door samples and a manager came in to talk to us about the doors. It was clean and a very professional environment. I thought they were very personable and seemed to know a lot about it. They had been in business for quite a while. I had a good impression of them, we just went with someone who had a little bit lower estimate for the exact same door. They were very professional.

The guy that came out to do the estimate was very nice, polite, and courteous. He was mindful of my time. I had about a 10-minute window for him to do the job, and he was completely fine with that. He did what he needed to do and gave me the estimate. We ended up going with another place because they were slightly cheaper and more responsive.

Amazing! Not only did they show up when they said they would show up and do a great job, they self-noted a handful of small follow-up fixes needed and self-scheduled coming by to fix them. I had prepared my list of these items and intended to call them, but they came by to fix them before I got around to calling them. This is unprecedented; I have never had a contractor be so meticulous in tracking and returning when he knew something needed correcting.
