Bill Campbell personally reached out to me very promptly and was able to get me on the schedule for the day we wanted to move. He is incredibly professional and his prices are very competitive. His crew showed up on the day of our move ahead of schedule and got right to work. His team took incredible care of all our items by providing complimentary wardrobe boxes, moving blankets for all furniture, as well as large containers for some of the random items we had. Their load out/ in efficiency was pretty impressive. Best of all, there was no damage during the entire process. Overall, the final total met the expectations set by the quote. I highly recommend their services and will hire again in the future.

It went on time, not issues and on budget.

They did a great job. I have very heavy high-end furniture. After moving the entire house, only some buttons on a tufted ottoman were broken. They were very flexible and came up with some last minute changes to our two day moving plan that worked out very well for us. This is the second time I've used this company and I would hire them again.

Having moved many times with the military and Government, we have lots of experience with movers, unfortunately, many negative experiences. I did a lot of research before booking Campbells for our local move and it was a GREAT experience. We got 3 estimates from good companies and theirs was the lowest. It's a family owned and run business, which means they care about quality and reputation more than the big commercial companies. It showed. The estimator and managers were all friendly and had great customer service. They were flexible, as our move date had to be adjusted once the closing on our new house was finalized. The movers took great care in packing our items, wrapping our furniture, as well as loading/unloading and delivering in one day for our local move. All workers were very polite and asked us questions when necessary, rather than take a guess, and patiently handled our many questions as well. They moved very heavy furniture and items with great skill and expertise. We were very impressed. The move with this company was an exceptional experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

Campbell moving was absolutely fantastic. They quoted us $1300 for 6 hours for 4 movers but because we were apparently pack rats it took 8 hours. Plus we had to move 2 turtles! While only 3 movers showed up at the apartment there were 4 at the house. They were incredibly kind and considerate and extremely professional. I was blown away with how great they were. I would 100% recommend Campbell Moving and would not hesitate to hire them if we move again. Despite the move taking longer than expected, the final price was only 150 higher than what we were quoted. I was honestly surprised since I was expected 400 to 500 more. Next time though, I will hire them to help pack and move cause they were that awesome.

Campbell Moving helped us out in a pinch: we needed to make a last minute move from our old home to both storage AND our new home. The crew was so kind, fast and efficient. All of our household stuff, much of which is large furniture, was handled with care and delivered and even re-assembled perfectly. We are super grateful and while we hope not to have to move again soon, we will definitely re-hire Campbell Moving if we have to!

Campbell Moving was very responsive to my requests, from the first phone call, to emailed details about the cost estimate, to scheduling and execution. My husband and I packed our boxes, and Campbell Moving wrapped all wooden and upholstered furniture with blankets and shrink-wrap. The professional crew packed all of our belongings in their truck, stored it overnight at their office, and delivered all of our belongings the next day. The crew worked quickly but carefully. We had no damage to any furniture or belongings. We recommend Campbell Moving!!

The crew arrived on time and worked carefully but quickly to load the contents of my townhouse. I was moving two pianos as well and they were very professional in the way they handled my instruments. The company provided wardrobes for clothes and even loaded them for me! Once we got to the new house, they were very efficient at getting everything into the house right where I wanted it. They even paused to put felt pads on the bottom of the furniture (I provided the pads) since all the floors are hardwood. I feel the price was fair and the crew was exceptional and very friendly.

BEWARE - Dishonest and Harassing Moving Company! Move from Alexandria to Centreville I called Campbell Moving on November 6th and spoke to Paul Hawkins – Moving consultant. I asked them to give me a quote on moving our household goods on November 17th. I requested that someone from Campbell Moving come out to our residence and give us a quote to move our household goods. I told him I had another quote from Interstate Moving but would like to get an estimate from Campbell as well. Mr. Hawkins asked me to give him the moving list from Interstate. I sent him the list and again requested that they come out to ensure they could confidently move our belongs for the price quoted. Mr. Hawkins stated that the list from Interstate was all he needed to confidently give me a quote. Campbell’s quote was $1,300 less than Interstate’s quote. When I received the quote from Mr. Hawkins, I questioned how Campbell Moving could do the move for so much less and once again implored him to physically come look at our belongs, stressing that we do have many large, antique pieces and a lot of outdoor furniture and planters. I wanted to be 100% sure that his company could move us for the quote of $2,100 in one day, with 2 trucks and 4 men. Again, Mr. Hawkins assured me they had done moves like this many times, all his men were full time employees, and he guaranteed me there would be no issues with our move. I then asked him for a binding quote for the move. He said they only gave nonbinding quotes for moves. I called him and for the 4th time asked that he, or another representative from Campbell Moving, come by the house to double check our goods and ensure the quote, number of trucks, men and timing were absolutely doable. He stated he was out of town but was 100% confident in his company’s ability to move our belongs at the quoted price, with the number of trucks and men in one day. I should have backed out of the move with Campbell Moving company at this point! Moving Day - turned into 2 moving day(s): One truck showed up with 2 men at first, then a smaller truck showed up later. When the movers entered the house, they began discussing how they didn’t feel like this move could be done in the allotted time, with allotted trucks and men. I questioned them after over hearing them. They stopped talking within earshot. I called Mr. Hawkins and expressed my concerns. He said there would not be an issue. The trucks were soon filled to their maximum capacity and we still had plenty of furniture that would not fit. We were told that Campbell Moving would send a big moving truck back to the house on Saturday morning and pick everything else up. The 2 trucks got to the new house in Centreville around 7:30pm. The move on Friday, Nov 17th lasted until 1am the following morning. We had the majority of the boxes labeled with numbers that corresponded to a map/layout of the new house. We explained to the movers how the numbers corresponded to the map. They all said they understood the map and how it corresponded to the numbers on the boxes and furniture. Furniture and boxes were shoved in the wrong rooms or in the garage. We had several pieces that were missing or damaged. A glass table was broken, and the glass was then stashed behind several large picture frames in the basement to hide it. We didn’t find it until a few weeks later. One of our antique hall trees pieces was broken at the top. Our Master Bedroom dresser has been damaged on the top from the mover’s tape. Nothing was said by the movers about the damage to any items. We wrote a check for $3,470.00 Friday night – the guy in charge said he had to collect the payment, or he could not release our goods that were sitting on the truck. He was holding our household goods hostage! The guys who showed up on Saturday were not full time Campbell employees – they were literally “3 guys with a pickup truck and a horse trailer”. Much of our outdoor furniture/planters did not get moved. We paid the guy with the pickup and horse trailer $975.00 on Saturday. The total ($4,445.00) was more the twice what I was quoted by Mr. Hawkins ($2,100). I called Mr. Campbell directly on Monday and explained the debacle over the weekend. Mr. Campbell then began using verbally abusive language telling me that our house had not been packed up properly and there was a lot more items than what was listed on the Interstate moving quote. I again stated that this is precisely why I asked Mr. Hawkins on 4 occasions to come see for himself so we didn’t end up in this situation. He again started yelling that his movers did a decent job and that I should just pay because he was a veteran owned business that was barely getting by and his guys had to be paid. I told him I AM also a Veteran and own a reputable Woman-owned service disabled veteran business. However, I don’t lie and cheat my clients. Good luck with your move and please make a better choice than we did!

From my first conversation with the owner Bill Campbell to the final boxes being brought up to our new apartment in Virginia, the experience was flawless and exceptional. The employees were courteous and took pride in their work. I was especially happy with how they situated the boxes around the perimeter of the spare bedroom, so that we had access to all boxes. I highly recommend Campbell Moving!

The movers were very careful, efficient, and polite. They did an excellent job. They made an unfortunate mistake which was resolved satisfactorily by the company headquarters. I have moved professionally multiple times. This is by far the best company I have ever worked with.

They did a really good job. They moved us on the day where there was a power outrage because of wind. They showed up on time despite the weather. They packed the house, moved us 4 miles and unpacked all within 7 hours. No damage, fast movers, courteous, and reasonable pricing. We had no problems.

Punctual, professional, hard-working, efficient. Great crew. Great attitude. We would definitely use them, again (but, hopefully, we won't be doing this, again, anytime soon!).

This was an excellent experience from beginning to finish. The moving crew was extremely hard-working and professional. Not only did we have a whole house of furniture and boxes to move but we also had a grandfather clock and a pool table to move and both were disassembled, moved, and reassembled very professionally. Great job!!

The move went smoothly. The three movers arrived at scheduled time . One stayed backed at the apartment loading docks while the other two loaded the furniture onto the elevator. The packers carefully wrapped the furniture for protection, and took care handling all the lamps and loose items. Unloading the furniture at the new apartment was more difficult as the movers had to carry the furniture up a couple flights of steps. Once the move was completed, the final accounting of the cost was explained in full. Paying by check costs less. This was the second time I hired Campbell’s moving. I was so pleased with their performance and great service the first time a few years back, I decided to hire them again and was not disappointed .

These guys are the real deal, I’ve been through a handful of home and office moves and I’ve never seen a harder working group of individuals. I’m picky and they overdelivered, A++

They were really hard working. They were on time. They were pleasant. They wrapped things very carefully. They dining room chairs looked like they had custom made covers for them. They broke down and assembled both beds at each place, I thought that was great.
