I will say that I found another company with a little bit of a cheaper rate but there was not that comfort level I had when booking with Campbell Moving. They were friendly, professional, efficient, and put me at ease that they would be there as scheduled. That kind of peace of mind is priceless when you are about to shift your life to a new town even if it is only 12 miles away. I also cannot say enough good things about Jonathon and his crew. They arrived ontime and gave a coursity call to say they were on the way. I have never seen a crew work so hard and fast and yet be so careful with my things. We bought them lunch and they actually asked if it was okay that they stopped to eat. I was like yes please before you pass out on my stairs. This definitely went better than expected. I would absolutley reccomend them to a friend and even gave their name to my realtor to refer to any other local moves in the area. Thank you Campbell Moving for a great experience. My husband and I are very pleased. The guys were top notch.

The move was a mixed bag. Crew arrived on time, worked their tails off, and arrived in Hickory as scheduled. Sadly, some items were missing after the move, and others suffered minor damage. Because of our schedule and limitations, we did not meet the written requirements to file an insurance claim. Ultimately, the company agreed to return the purchase-price we paid for added (replacement value) insurance.

i was very pleased with the packers........a key component for any one who has ever moved before. they took their time to do it right but were efficient and pleasant. i also was pleased with the estimator who helped me figure some ways to save money on the move. lastly, they were willing to deliver to more than one address which made the delivery more complex. i would definitely call them again!

This team was fantastic. I felt like we had tons of stuff and it was moved out quickly. A lot of our furniture had glass parts, and they protected them really well. Nothing was damaged, they did not hit any corners while moving in, and they set up the furniture the way I wanted it. They put all drawers and shelves back in, and made sure everything was placed well. They had great attitudes, worked quickly, and most importantly, were really careful with my stuff. Definitely the best movers we ever used! (Sal was our team lead and was fantastic)

Great company and professional staff. The movers were on time, were professional, and efficient. The management company of the previous building in which I lived went out of their way to inconvenience us. The movers were professional when dealing with the management staff and were able to work around them to accomplish the task. I was shocked at how fast everything was packed and moved to the new house. In total, they moved all of my things from my highly overcrowded apartment to a full size house, unpacked everything, and were gonein about 4.5 hours. I would definitely recommend this service providers to others.

They were easy to schedule with and easy to work with. They sent 4 or 5 guys out to help with the move and they were punctual. They honored a military discount which I liked. They did not tack on any additional charges and they were very gentle with our things. They were able to get it done within one day and they were very professional.

On the day we had scheduled Campbell's to pack some china and glassware, Al and Dave offered to load our stuff into the truck as well. They suggested this in order to beat the impending rain and snow storm. We hadn't finished our own packing at that point but Al and Dave were able to bring in additional help and pack and load our entire household. They were also able to bring in a crew of house cleaners to give the house a final scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing. Al and Dave showed up exactly on time at the new place and unloaded everything promptly. Everything had been packed securely and arrived in perfect condition. Nothing was broken, damaged, or lost. When we learned that our local trash company had failed to make a scheduled curbside pickup at the former residence, Al arranged to have that done also. Al and Dave are outstanding professionals who take customer service to new heights. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Campbell's was very flexible and accommodating every step of the way. I give Campell's, especially Al and Dave my highest recommendation.

Arrived a few minutes early, which is fine by me. Got started right away, and worked continuously throughout the 5 hours they spent moving us out and back in. No damage to any of our items. Price was very reasonable (price above does not include tips), the guys that came were professional and efficient. I would use again and will recommend to others.

They sent lots of emails asking us to detail everything we wanted moved, but never contacted us or offered to come to our house and provide and estimate

Campbell Moving and Storage were the most professional moving company we have ever dealt with. The price we paid was EXACTLY the same price that was estimated to us AND they went above and beyond during the move to provide extra service to ensure that our move went smoothly. We packed ourselves out and even with that, when we needed some extra boxes and tape on moving day, Campbell Moving and Storage did not hesitate to provided us some extra materials at no extra cost to us. They even assisted with helping us pack out a closet we had forgotten about. One of the items to move was a difficult oversized sofa that other moving companies had struggled with in the past. Not Campbell Moving and Storage! They were able to trouble shoot and move this piece of furniture out in half the time as other movers and with no damage to the furniture OR to the apartment. This company is punctual, priced fairly and professional!

5-man crew 2 trucks Arrived right on time (actually a few minutes early). They worked non-stop the entire time - no rest breaks. Packed everything up in about two hours. Arrived at new address about 35 miles away 45 minutes later. Unpacked, set up and were done in about 2 hours or so. Everything placed where we wanted it. Nothing was scratched, dented or broken. All packed nicely. The crew was professional and friendly. Happy to do anything we asked. Would clearly use Campbell again AND would recommend to anyone else in Northern Virginia for a local move. The team from Campbell movers was great!! They arrived right on time and worked hard all day on our move. The furniture was padded and wrapped and I felt very confident that the items were secure. The team worked hard and rarely took breaks. They were friendly and very careful moving our items. We were extremely happy with the decision to hire professional movers in spite of the close proximity of the move. During a stressful weekend of moving it was a relief to have Campbell handle the heavy lifting!!

Their service was wonderful. They were very accommodating. I haven't finished packing when they got there so they helped me do that. They gave excellent service. Not a single thing was scratched or broken. I'm very happy with them.

Fabulous. The crew was careful, courteous, and worked harder than any I have had..and this was my fourth move in five years. They covered and wrapped everything, moved carefully while inside, and never stopped for lunch!

They were very good, great, nice and professional. There were a couple of times which is about how they would charge, so, I picked what should be. The guards turned up in very good times and they were efficient about packing and work very hard. Actually, it is a hot day. They did not charge me for any of the done time because there was a period time between completion of time and the time when we could leave into the new apartment. They did not charge me for any of that and they finished in less time in regional estimate and they charged me for exactly what they did. No complains at all. They charged me for $220 and 4 guys in the truck. That was July. Well, I do not know what you want to say but pretty much that they were all the same. I do not think any done with more or less any others. My only commitment would be, they would charge and nothing more.

Campbell Moving was not the cheapest moving company that we had quotes from but seemed to be the best value. They showed up with a larger crew than the others quoted us for and even brought two trucks to ensure the move was done quickly. They diligently wrapped all of our furniture as part of their standard procedure whereas some of the other places that came in with a cheaper quote charged per piece for that service. They even moved our piano from the second floor of our old house across wood floors without scratching them. Started at 8:30 and were done by 4pm including a lunch break. All in all, they were clean, professional and got all of our household moved without breaking or damaging anything. When a small discrepancy arose between the quoted price and the charged price, they honored the original estimate and quickly sent us a check for the difference which we received within days. Overall good experience and value.

This was a local move and I scheduled it a month in advance. A week later, due to a change in the closing date for my son and daughter-in-law's townhouse, we needed to move the date up one week earlier. I was concerned that this would cause a scheduling issue, but I was assured that it was not a problem to reschedule the move for the new date. The movers arrived promptly (actually 15 minutes early) and wrapped everything with padding and shrink wrap. They carefully loaded and unloaded it from the truck and made sure everything went to the correct rooms. The one glitch that occurred involved the bill and the fact that the move took more than 3 hours. I felt that I was overcharged, but I paid the amount. Later, I found the miscalculation and I brought this to the company's attention and I was promptly reimbursed. I was pleased with the move and would definitely recommend them.

Great experience. Teams were great. Was supposed to be a 3 day move - 1 day to pack up house, 1 day to load 2 trucks, 1 day to unload 2 trucks. Teams were very efficient and hard working. At our request, they were willing to unload the same day as loading the trucks - an 11 hour day for them. Only negative was the expense, but they did a lot. They packed up the entire house - even packing empty plastic bins into boxes - a little unnecessary as it added to the expense - more boxes, tape and paper, but that was the worst of it. Quality company and people. I will definitely use them again.

They were fantastic. They wrapped all of the furniture. They put all kinds of padding to protect everything. They worked really hard.

Due to the timing of our requirement to vacate our rental home in Chantilly, Virginia, on a Monday and move into our new purchase in South Carolina on Thursday of the same week, we requested loading at 8:30 a. m. on Monday and delivery at 3 p. m. on Thursday in South Carolina. Campbell met our requested times exactly as specified. When our load exceeded the capacity of the 30 foot truck that was dispatched on Monday, Campbell immediately provided an extra truck and extra crew to complete loading on Monday as specified. The same crew delivered and unloaded in South Carolina on Thursday, completing the job that evening at 10 p. m. The work was done extremely carefully, with no damage, and boxes and items were unloaded and placed where directed. Our move included a baby grand piano, which was accomplished without any damage to the piano or to the floor in either location. The contract we agreed was a fixed price contract and Campbell honored the terms despite having to dispatch an additional truck. We couldn't be more pleased, as we selected Campbell on the basis of the hundreds of reviews posted on Angie's List and we are pleased to add our review to the many highly complimentary reviews we saw.

The movers showed up on time and did an excellent job. They did go over by one hour, but they stuck to their original estimate and we only paid the estimated price.
