Very well. Scott came out, took measurements, gave me a nice brochure of work done by their company and then emailed me the estimate--which was very thorough and professional.

I had an appointment for an estimate with Tim. He seemed irritated from the start when he arrived at my house. I had a good idea of the area we wanted to fence, but it was possible it would change within a few feet in certain areas on the backside. I was looking for fencing suggestions based on my needs of needing to contain dogs, but still keeping the view open to the rest of the property. Tim was very short with me, visibly irritated, and continually talked down to me, multiple times stating maybe I should double check what I wanted with my husband. Mind you I paid for the fence not my husband and I make all final decisions!! He would not suggest any materials and treated me like I was stupid for wanting to price a couple types. In the end I asked him to give me quotes on two different options of fencing materials. He told me he was heading out of town for the weekend and that he would get me something by the beginning of the following week. That was the last I heard from him for 3 weeks! He called me weeks later and left a message stating he couldn't remember if I was supposed to be getting back to him with info or if he was supposed to provide me quotes. He is extremely unprofessional and should not be representing this company. I have seen fences done by Builders and was looking forward to working with them, but after dealing with the very rude sales rep I went with another company. I received multiple quotes from other companies and every one else was extremely helpful and great at giving me suggestions and treated me with respect.

The construction people were great, except for putting the gate handle on the wrong side of the double gate. The salesman was friendly but did not always call when he said he would.

Set a date for a salesperson to come by and discuss estimate. Cancelled 2 hours before the appointment, called and notified me, and I was ok with rescheduling it, though I had taken the day off work to be home for it. Rescheduled date and time comes, I take the day off again, and they again don't show When I reached out to them to ask where they were, they had 'forgotten' about it, and asked if they could reschedule again. Needless to say they didn't get a third chance.

Builder's Fence Company did an excellent job in building my fence. The team was very punctual and professional. The cleaned up after themselves and answered all of my questions. I am amazed at how strong the fence is. I do plan to hire them in the future to do additional work to other areas my fence.

Both the fence and deck look great! Builders Fence helped us come to a plan to replace our deck that was within our budget. They offered options and walked us through it. They came out when expected and finished quicker than we expected! The fence was done in a day. With regard to the deck, they stayed all day during one of the colder days in February and then came again on Saturday and stayed all day to finish. The end result is wonderful!

Service was efficient, friendly, and punctual. Best price I found, and the workers were on time and completed the job in only a few hours. Both sales and installation were great and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company for your home project.

The estimator arrived on time and was thorough (unlike the other fencing contractors that I got an estimate from) in examining the fencing and posts that were to be replaced, Provided an estimate that seemed to be reasonable compared to the other estimates I obtained. The job got scheduled about 2 weeks later. The two men who were doing the work arrived on time. I had a little difficulty communicating with the man who was the lead worker to ensure they didn't walk on areas where plants were beginning to poke out of my flower beds, but did get him to understand and they did a great job of avoiding those areas. The workers were very polite and professional. I did have an issue with the construction of the double gate. I assumed that the new gate would be designed and installed identical to the one that was being replaced since there was no indication during the estimate that it would be different. The main problem was they installed the new gate to swing the opposite direction, which I did not want. I didn't realize it until they had completely finished installing the gate. Also, I went out to inspect the gate when it was being built and saw that the pickets on one side of the gate were spaced unevenly by a lot. They removed the pickets and respaced them. A few days after the installation I called the company and asked to speak with a manager to provide feedback on my issue with the double gate. I talked to Ted who thanked me for providing the feedback and agreed to inspect the fencing job. Ted came to my house at the scheduled time and we discussed the issues. I was not asking to have the gate rebuilt but we found 2 pickets that he readily agreed to have replaced. I was very pleased with the customer service provided by Ted. Even though I may be disappointed about the direction of the gate swing, it still looks great and is completely functional. Overall, I am very pleased with the new fencing. The guys did a great job cleaning up and taking all debris away. I would definitely use this company again.

They arrived as scheduled and finished on time.

By the time I got all the bids in I choose to go with them. They used aluminum fencing in some areas which looks okay, but there were issues with the wooden fence installed. They claimed they did it how they usually do it, I looked around at other fences and disputed that it wasn't. It took a lot of back and forth, they gave me a lot of BS and they finally came back and re-did some boards. They took a down payment but it took them four weeks to start. I had to take pictures and complain before they would follow up. I was careful to tell them about the drainage pipe I had. One hour later they came back and told me they punctured the pipe. Thankfully they used enough cement to cover it. By the time I got the bids in they were almost within a couple of hundred dollars of each other. The price was within reason. They had no one come back and review the work after the work was done. There was no follow up.

It was good and payment was flexible.

Professional from start to finish. Tim Mardis from Builders Fence provided the initial estimate and made sure I was aware of property line concerns, grade, recommended a surveyor, and laid out the job I requested. He spent an hour and a half measuring and taking all of my requests into consideration and was very patient and knowledgeable. Tim came out a second time to address my concerns after our property lines were marked, again being patient and answering all my questions and re-marking where the fence would go. I received estimates from two other fence companies, but neither were as thorough as Tim was, which is why I selected Builders. Builders just installed the fence today. Tim also came out to the job site today to ensure the crew was familiar with the work to be performed, and the crew did an excellent job. I am extremely pleased with the final product and would definitely recommend Builders Fence to everyone!

Huck came out to give me an estimate and was very helpful in discussing the overall design to meet the purpose of the fence. He even had to come out a second time when I realized the property lines were different than I had expected after the survey was done. He was prompt in giving the estimate and was very responsive to any questions. He was on time for both appointments and was pleasant to work with. The company honored my request for a particular day when I could be home. Hugo and his team arrived on time the morning of the scheduled work. They worked hard all day only breaking for lunch. They were respectful and professional. Hugo reviewed the plan with me prior to beginning the work. They took away my old fencing not leaving even a scrap. They placed the fence close to the house and they placed the wire low to the ground as requested to keep my little dog in. They placed any additional dirt along the base of the fence wire. Everything looked neat and clean when they finished. People have stopped to inquire who did my fencing work and I have had many compliments on the fence. I am extremely pleased from start to finish and would recommend them highly.

They could be more competitive with the pricing.

They seem not to understand how appointments work. I am home and they need to come to my home to do an in person estimate. I received an email saying to call the estimator and he wanted to discuss it over the phone, which is not why I made an appointment. I am a very responsible person and I have never missed an appointment. I tired of this type of company where they call and if they cannot reach you they don't come. Then why did I make an appointment???? I did receive a call but I did not recognize the name or the number and I blocked it. If companies want to call before they come then they need to furnish phones that show the company's name. I will not be doing busy with this company again.

Overall, It went great -- really excellent customer service from Kevin and Ted and the final product seems solid. There was a significant amount of back-and-forth on some details because we were trying to keep one section of newer fence that was attached to an old, rotted fence, and re-use our existing gate which was improperly attached to a 4x4 by previous fence installers (not Builders). I really appreciated the time Kevin took to make sure he understood what we wanted and to discuss options for how to proceed. A lot of contractors would just make assumptions and not worry about getting it wrong, so it was great that they called to ask questions when they came up and confirm everything in advance. The team arrived as planned and the installation went pretty smoothly (finished in one day). We also have a lot of trees in our backyard, and while it was necessary to prune some branches along the fence line, the crew did not disrupt or dislodge any of the plantings and didn't make a mess of things back there. There was one issue with the reinstalled gate latch because of the trickiness of reusing those parts with a new 6x6 post (where the old 4x4 used to be) and changing out the way the post was attached to the garage. When I called them to let them know we thought it looked less than perfect (mind you, it worked, just looked a little weird), Ted came out to the house to check it out and fixed it so that it looks neat and works nicely. It was a really nice touch that shows the company cares about its customers and the products they build. All this and they were not the most expensive bid we got for the work. We would definitely use them again, and would recommend to others.

They arrived on time and were very kind and professional. They worked quickly, yet thoroughly. They first took the old fence down and hauled it away and replaced it with our new beautiful vertical board fence with a cedar gate. It looks amazing. I would not hesitate to hire them again. In fact, I am telling everyone I know about them.

Their quote was lower than several other companies and they finished erecting the cedar fence in a single day without issue.

Just an FYI for everyone I had contacted two other contractors for the job (including Home Depo) both companies came out and did their measurements but never called back or sent an email with their estimates. I'm guessing the job was to small for them to handle. I would recommend Builders Fence to complete another job for me when it's time to replace the other side of the yard with a new fence.

We worked with Jarrod for our estimate and we were impressed right away with his level of customer service. He answered all our questions and put in a great deal of thought into his suggestions and recommendations for how to position the portion that needed to be fenced in. I knew were were dealing with a stand up person when I asked if the back of the yard (which was previously fenced by the house in the back) was in good shape or if we needed to put our own fence. He examined it and said we were okay and noted where some minor repairs could be done to address my concerns and he would take care of it because they were so small. I appreciated his honesty and it saved us time and money. He also worked with us to get the right angles to allow for future plans like adding a garage. He took the time we needed to feel comfortable with the entire process. Jarrod stayed with us for the rest of the process. His customer service sealed the deal for us and I knew within a few minutes of meeting him we would get a fair estimate and good work. What meant the most to me working with this company is that we had a family medical emergency come up with a parent the day before the fence was due to be installed. I knew my spouse would not be able to be with me so we could both see the final walk thru for the fence lines at the start of the job and I was really worried about making the final sign off. Jarrod made it a point to assure me that he would be there and not to worry. He would be my second set of eyes for the sign off and make sure all those angles we had discussed were done right. True to his word he was there with the crew at the start and check up on me through out the day. Jarrod also asked about my father-in-law that day and then again this week. That meant the world to me. I wish more businesses were like this one. The fence looks great and our dog loves having a fenced in yard. I would highly recommend this company because of their customer service and final product. We got what he promised and are happy with the result.

With such a large job on the line, we sought several quotes for a complete rebuild of our deck. We eventually chose Builders because of their promised schedule, and their cost estimate being right in the range of what we'd received already. They had also repaired/installed part of our fence a couple years back and we'd had a good experience, so we trusted their work. They arrived right on schedule, and worked long hours throughout the whole process. The laborers took care to work around our kids and dogs (i.e. closing the fence and being careful when they were near the work area). The team at Builders is amazingly responsive and were always attentive to our concerns. We would (and have) recommended Builders to our friends, and will likely be using them for a much-needed patio install soon.

Estimate was appropriate for other estimates we received. Estimator sent numerous emails with prices and availability to begin work.

Builder's Fence exceeded expectations from the start. The representative was well versed on his products and listened to our needs. Made logical recommendations and was always responsive. Even assisted us with permits and surveying. The entire job was done within 5 weeks, may be less. Delivered on time, polite and a crew that was respectful of our property. They did such an excellent job our neighbors are asking who did the work. We are very pleased
