Two weeks after the capacitor was fixed the unit stopped working again. When the repairman came back, he said there was no freon. The pressure switch was leaking. The same company had repaired the same switch less than a year before. We paid $500 to have it repaired in August 2009. When I pointed this our to the repairman, he said he'd lower his price from $500 to $300 - to fix the very thing he fixed less than a year before! We called two other services for estimates, both of whom said (and showed me) it was obvious that the "fix" in 09 was not complete. To fix the leak originally he needed to solder a pipe, which he did, he just didn't solder completely around the pipe, leaving room for the leak to continue. When we called the company back to tell them this, they said they'd have to look at it determine if that was the case. So my husband told them to come on back (this was the owner he was speaking with). The owner said he would have to have the technician call us back. After many days, and many phone calls back to the company, my husband said he was going to be calling someone else if his call wasn't returned. The receptionist siad his call would be returned within the hour. After an hour, he called someone else.

Called them on a Saturday and someone actually answered and suggested I call back the office first thing Monday morning. i did and they were able to give me an appointment same day. The person who showed up knew his job and quickly went about the removing my old pump and putting in a new one. Only thing was before taking out the old one he said it seemed to be a lower quality plastic housing but after he took it out he realized it was the same brand he was going to install which he said was very good quality 'Zoeller' if I recall correctly. All in all a satisfactory experience starting from their responsiveness, to scheduling to actually completing the work

Called Bowman's & scheduled appointment - they were able to schedule for next day between 8-12. Service provider arrived a little bit later than that window - approx 12:30. He was very knowledgable & able to very quickly identify and repair the problem (didn't take him more than 15 minutes to complete). Very satisfied with service.

Called Bowman's when I found hot water heater leaking. Was not able to reach them, but left a message & they called back later that day. Given the age of the hot water heater, made decision to replace the hot water heater & scheduled an appointment for service. The service person arrived as schedule (was from the plumbing company recently acquired by Bowman's - I want to say Everett's). He removed the old water heater & replaced with new. He also took care not to track in dirt from outside while carrying in/out - that required a bit of effort since back yard was rather mucky that day. Pleased with quality of service & professionalism of service provider.

He was fast, friendly and thorough. His only fault was that he was late. Apparently, he got caught up in another job that went on long. He did apologize for the delay and confirmed before showing up.

Appointments are available quickly. Plumber called before arriving, arrived on time. We did a walk through to talk about the problem Plumber kept the work area clean and invited me to look at progress during the job. Felt plumber was knowledgeable and friendly--I would hire the company again.

They were excellent. They were reasonable in pricing. I would absolutely contact Bowman's in the future for any heat or a/c service needs.

Disaster. He attempted to change the cartridge in the kitchen sink but did not turn of the water first. Water sprayed all over the kitchen and soaked everything! Unprofessional appearance to boot. Did these guys go to plumbing school?

The owner, Dana Bowman, was able to schedule a plumber to come out to our house within 2 hours of when we called. The plumber, Doug Hess, was very professional and knowledgeable and explained the tests he was running to check the function of the pressure reducing valve in layperson's terms. He showed me how he was adjusting the screw that should be increasing/decreasing the pressure on the water supply line, but how the pressure meter attached to the nearby faucet was not fluctuating at all in pressure. He provided a reasonable quote for replacement of the valve so we decided to move forward with the work then and there...he worked very efficiently and was done within an hour. Unfortunately we discovered that evening that one of the new seals for the replacement valve had a microleak (seeping a couple milliliters every 12 hours or so) so I contacted Dana Bowman again to get this resolved. She stood behind her work and had Doug come back out immediately to take care of the leak.

Bowman?s Heating and Air Conditioning fixed a leaking line on the 15th of this month.

Since they didn't call me back, no service was performed.

They were extremely punctual, professional, and polite. When I told them I'd been given a lower estimate by another company, they beat the estimate. I wanted to use them based on recommendations from my parents so with the price matching and recommendations I chose them. I will probably use them for every air conditioning/heating need that I have in the future. They also came back out the same day that I mentioned a possible problem.

Vendor arived on time, with pre-filled Work Order based on the phone call that set up the appointment. I was explicit in identifying that it was a solar hot water heater that had issues, and this was reflect in bold print in the W.O. Vendor's first comment was that he was unfamiliar with most solar hot water heaters. Vendor believed that a malfunctioning pump was the cause of all three symptoms we were experiencing. He quoted ~$400 plus parts expense to replace the pump, and another ~$450 to install a pressure monitor to address water hammer sound. And he then charged $80 for the visit. Two days later, a company more familiar with solar hot water heaters arrived, recharged the glycol, reset the PSI, identified a small leak on the solar panel on the roof which could be leading to water hammer sound by allowing air in the water lines, and left us rather satisfied. My dissatisfaction with Everett's (now apparently called Bowman's, though their website still says it's Everett's) is tied solely to the fact that after I was very clear about the hot water heater being "solar", the first comment from the on-site tech was regarding his lack of experience in solar hot water heaters. Second, and of equal importance, was his seemingly incorrect diagnosis of the problem.

Went very well. They were able to send someone over less than two hours after I called them, and the man they sent over took care of the entire job in less than an hour. I'll definitely make them my first call for any subsequent jobs.

The installation itself went fine. The garbage disposal works. The faucet is loose and will require some kind of tool I don't have to tighten it. However, we started having dishwasher drain issues and in the past couple of months they have gotten much worse. We are now bailing the tub out after each load. I spoke with a friend who had the exact problem and only after replacing his dishwasher did he find out that the his new garbage disposal hadn't been properly installed. So, today, I called Everett Plumbing (who has sinced changed their name). I explained the situation and was told, to my dismay, that I would have to pay to have them come out whether or not it was their fault. It appears that you have to be able to diagnose the problem within 30 days - even if it what they did causes another devise to malfunction. That doesn't strike me as the kind of service that deserves an "A" from Angie's list. It was very disappointing to say the least. Is it really too much to ask for them to be willing to back up their work for more than 30 days? And if that is the policy, perhaps it should be written somewhere on the receipt.

I called them this morning, left a voicemail, they called back, they came within the hour , and fixed it. No surprises.

Our waterheater failed during a record snowstorm. Wen I called Dana actually answered the phone after hours. She responded the next day by having a plumber get to the house and replace it by noon. They saved us an incredible inconvenience and luckily beat he next storm which blew in the next day. Everett's Plumbing did a great job of handling the situation and did it for a fair price without taking advatage of our situation.

The tech arrived very punctually. He listened to the problems we had and was very responsive. Repaired the shower in the second bathroom after checking all possibilities as to where the leak could come from. He then repaired the shower in the master bathroom, removed the stopper in the tub so we could get a replacement. A very pleasant person, polite and straightforward.

Found this Plumber off of Angies list called them and He arrived 20 minutes later ! found the issue instantly and fixed it in about 45 minutes , very very good service I will be doing business with them in the future for sure !!!!!!

Everett's responded to my request for service the same day I called. Within 4 hours of making the call they came and finished the work in less than an hour. Very professional. I will be using them for my plumbing problems for many years to come.

After a quick description of the problem I was having, the plumber took a quick look at the home and the overflowing drain pipe in the driveway. He was able to very quickly assess the problem and take the appropriate corrective action. My plumbing problem was cleared within an hour. I was exceptionally pleased.

Everett's Plumbing came out promptly and took care of the problem quickly and for a reasonable price. I know of several plumbing services that would have charged much more.

The appointment was easy to schedule (I did it about a week in advance), and an 8:00-10:00 am window was given. The tech (Doug) arrived right at 8:00 and we talked through the work - very straightforward. He finished in about an hour. One item I asked about was whether I need to have the drains cleaned based on some symptoms I had observed - no backed up water, just a bad smell on occassion. Doug probably could have sold me on a drain cleanout but didn't. He said it was more likely dirty traps and suggested a home remedy. Nice. While I didn't get any other estimates, I do feel that $400 is steep for an hour's work, assuming the materials weren't costly. But it looks like a quality job, so.... Overall - a good experience.

On Thursday I noticed water dripping from my kitchen ceiling just as I had finished my shower. I called Everett's to see if they could send someone over this morning and they could. I requested between 8 and 10 AM. Jackie arrived at 8:30. He was neat, clean and very professional. I showed him the ceiling and then we went up to the shower area. With a flashlight he could detect many areas of missing grout. I was happy to have my thought confirmed. Everetts is a very respectable company to deal with. I will use them again.
