I called Bowman's for a problem with a leaking pipe in the basement. The appointment was scheduled for between 1-5 p.m., but the employee called around 11:30 a.m. asking if he could come earlier because he happened to be in the area. He arrived about 10 minutes later, looked at the problem and gave an estimate. While he was there, I also asked if he could take a look at the garbage disposal under the sink that stopped working a few months ago and a water valve that the previous plumber said was "stuck" and could not be fixed without some major work. The plumber quickly fixed the problem with the garbage disposal after looking at electric breaker first and then unscrewing the bottom to determine that something was lodged in the system. He also very efficiently fixed the leak and cleaned up the work area and turned the valve that was previously determined to be "non-fixable." There was additional charge but, considering that I had not been able to use either garbage disposal or the valve to the outside water and that I did not mention the problems when I scheduled the appointment, I was extremely happy. The plumber brought with him an apprentice, who he said was his boss's son learning the job. Both were very polite and professional. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The price was reasonable compared to "flat fee" estimates from other companies. Very pleased with the service overall. I will be contacting this company for any other plumbing problems in the future.

It went perfectly. They were clean and professional. They didn't make a mess. They cleaned up their things they left in the laundry room when they were replacing the water heater. They were polite. They had the best price.

We noticed out leaking water heater in the morning and called several places. Some would not give a small enough range of the price to replace our water heater. Others could not come before the afternoon or offered too unspecific a timeframe for arrival. We called Bowman's (old name: Everettes) and they were able to give us a narrow enough range of the cost AND told us they'd be able to come that morning. They said they would have to order one, since they didn't have the correct size in inventory, but that they could pick one up that morning. They arrived on time, were professional, and got the job done. Total time about 4 hours. When later we noticed a slight dripping from one of the valves, we called and one of them came right away. It required a simple tightening of a screw. The person didn't act like it was an inconvenience to come out, and was just as friendly as when the team first arrived. We'd definitely go with this company again.

When I called to make the appointment I talked to Dana Bowman. She was very professional, gave me all the information I needed. Appointment was set for next day. Repairman called prior to arrival to say he was on his way. Repair was completed in a profess- ional manner in a short amount of time. He even checked another plumbing problem I mentioned and gave me a recommendation on what needed to be done. This was done for the price he quoted upon his inspection of the problem. I also used the $20.00 discount coupon printed off the website. I would highly recommend Bowman's and will use them again.

We began to see water coming up through our hardwood floor in our kitchen a little under a week ago. Having no idea where it was coming from we waited a few days to see what was going to happen. Once it got worse, I knew it was time for a plumber. When i called Bowman's, Dana was super friendly and asked me several questions about what was going on. She told me right away that she could get someone out the same day and we scheduled the time frame. Dana also called me back about 10 minutes later and said that I should also call the Water Co out to see if there was a water main break. I did that as well. Thomas (Plumber) arrived right on time and also gave me a call about 1/2 hour before his arrival to ensure I was home. Thomas was knowledgeable, friendly and totally down to earth. He investigated everything, was thorough in explaining to me step by step what was going on. He was extremely clean in the work space and also fixed the handle on the kitchen faucet that was loose. He stopped the leak (which was apparently VERY bad) and did recommend the next 2-3 steps that I needed to take in order to get the water out of the subfloor. I would 100% recommend Bowman's in the future and will call them again.

We called to get an estimate and the guy was going to come between 1-5pm on a Monday. My wife had to leave at 3pm so when the plumber called to come over she said he could not because it was too late. Since she said on Tuesday she needed to leave the house by 10am, the plumber volunteered to come over first thing in the morning on Tuesday so we did not have to have the leak for an additional day. He said he would arrive at 8:30am and he promptly did! It was great. As I said above we discovered a wet spot on the ceiling of our kitchen and realized it was coming from the second floor. Plumber came to do an estimate (I think that was $50). He cut a hole where the main spot was, hoping the leak was there, it was so he asked my wife if she wanted him to fix it. She said yes and he fixed it right away. They provided a good service and with the Anglie's List coupon we got $20 off. The only bad thing was that they do not paint or do drywall so someone else had to do that. I have no idea if that is standard for plumbers or not.

Bowman's plumber took his time in analyzing the problem and deciding the best way to fix it. He diagnosed (correctly it turned out) that some of the leak was going into the wall even though that was not visible. Therefore, he decided that he needed to go through the interior wall to the pipes. He located the pipe perfectly and took a small portion of wallboard out. There was dampness in the wall. He removed the pipe that leaking and welded a new piece in. Then he went outside and replaced the faucet. It all works beautifully. The previous plumber did not take time to assess the issue and consequently, did not really fix the problem. Bowman did an awesome job, explained our options before proceeding and charged a reasonable price for the repair.

. The main water pipe leading from my home backed up on a Saturday morning into my basement shower. I called before 8 am and by noon the job was completed correctly. Jackie was the technician and he called me several times during the morning to keep me appraised of his schedule and he told me the overtime fee up front ($89 -reasonable to me). He was very knowledgeable over the phone asking several questions to try and get a better idea of the problem. He explained everything he was going to do, what he might have to do and again had the costs clear and up front. He was also very friendly and discussed general household plumbing system with us, something we don't know much about. We also used a coupon we got of Angie's List for this company for $20 off. Overall we were very happy and quickly referred Bowman Plumbing to 3 family members in the local area.

Called in the afternoon and they had someone here within an hour. He was very nice and he told us some things we didn't know. He found the leak and fixed it.

Our experience was that Bowman Plumbing was quick and performed the work well. A good experience overall.

We've been using Bowman's since 2002 and will continue to use them due to their professionalism and outstanding customer service.

The work was done superbly. The plumber quickly verified what needed to be done and provided an estimate. The work was done professionally and the results are great. The only issue I have is that the charges are done on a flat rate for each job. While the work was great, I ended up paying $700 for 2 hours of work (plus travel time and about $100 of materials). This works out to $200 per hour, including paying for the 30 minutes of driving time each way. I would use them again when I need anything major, because the work was great; but I will not expect a bargain. But, I'll keep looking for a lower-priced handyman who can do the more common plumbing jobs.

I called Bowman's after researching Angie's List. The repairman came out promptly on Friday, Dec. 30 and gave me an estimate which was a little less (with discount) than 2 others I had called. He ordered the water heater and was able to come and install it on Monday morning. The whole process went smoothly and even though my space in the basement closet was very small, he was able to make it work. I was happy with the service and responsiveness.

These guys were professional and got the job done in time. However I think their charges are at the high end. They charged me $400 for a job that took only ½ hr.

Great exeperience overall. A repairman was sent out immediately after we called about our leak. New waterheater was installed the same day. Very friendly servicemen.

They showed up the first time to fix it. There were no callbacks or issues. They just fixed it.

I have a water pipe broken from the property to the water meter. I called the company on Tuesday morning on 01/24/2012 and asked if they do the water line repair under the ground and was told yes. A lady said that she would have someone to call me back to sche dule an appointment for an estimate. Nobody ever called me back on that day. I called the next day to see why they did not cal me back but got their answering machine. Anyway, I left a message to inform them that no one had called me yet and ask if they could call me back to schedule an appointment for an estimate. No one called me back again. I called them the third time on Thursday morning and explained to the lady who answered the phone that I would need them to come to tell me how much it would cost to fix it. She apologized that they did not call me back and promised that she would have someone call me back immediately. As of today, no one has ever called me back to schedule an appointment. I guess they don't want customer's business any more since they don't return the phone call from customers. I finally called them this morning to inform them that they provide a very bad service and that they did not respond to customer's requests at al and told them that I would report this experience to Angieslist. The lady immediately told me that they don't repair broken water pine under the ground and that they contract someone else to do it. I am very disappointed with their service. I do not recommend this company to anyone at all. I will never call them again.

Jacky was very polite & professional and called to ensure I was home & asked for an overview of what I needed done to ensure he had all that he needed. While he was here he was very quiet, but quick in completing his task. I loved that he tested everything to ensure all was working as expected!!! I highly recommend Jacky and will definitely use him again if I have more plumbing needs.

Jackie was great! He called about 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know when he would be there. When he arrived, he looked at the broken drain to figure out what needed to be done and then provided an estimate. During the work, he explained what he was doing and why the problems had occurred. He replaced the pipes under the sink, correcting the way they were previously installed. After he was finished, he cleaned up his work area and offered to look at my water heater to make sure there weren't any problems, since I had mentioned that it was kind of old. Happily, it's still okay, but he showed me what to watch for. Overall, a really good experience. One interesting note on price - this company charges by the job (e.g., I think it was $190.02 to replace a garbage disposal), rather than by the hour. I appreciate that, because I knew the price for everything, before he began the work.

It was a pleasure dealing with Tom from Bowman's. He has a lot of experience in plumbing, was prompt, and communicative. The cost was reasonable since they supplied as well as installed the faucet with the needed copper tubing and connectors. Tom was efficient and did a great job.

Bowman's provided service on short notice that enabled us to continue Christmas holiday preparations. Jackie was courteous, personable and professional. Would definitely use Bowman and Jackie again.

Doug came in to try and identify an internal leak. He found a couple of issues and fixed them right up. He was clean, efficient and very knowledgable as well as professional.

We purchased a Dual Fuel Professional grade stove for our Kitchen. Originally there was an electric range in place. I had Bowmans come out and give me an estimate to run a gas line to our kitchen. I had 3 other companies also provide estimates and I knew right away that the Bowmans estimater knew what he was talking about. We had bowmans come out and do the work, the technicians were professional and the install was done on time and the guys went the extra mile to level the stove and make sure everthing was just right. I would definitely use Bowmans again should the need arise.
