Very professional and we like the design plan very much!

Walter and his crew were very professional and did a fantastic job. I am very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend this contractor for design, hardscape and landscaping.

She was spot on for what we were looking for in both design and maintenance. We have not yet signed the contract with them to perform the work as we are working towards saving up to get as much of it done in one shot as we can. Price was reasonable, within other bids that we had received, middle of the road. Can't wait for the actual project to get underway.

For the initial consult, Walter B. showed up on time; he was very punctual, knowledgeable and professional. He left and I sent him some of my favorite pictures from the web about designs I liked that day. I was to have a detailed plan within two weeks (that was 4/28). I have no idea what happened, but after 8 weeks, I emailed him to ask him about the delay. No reply. After 10 weeks I left a voice mail saying that I would either like my $90 back or I would like the plans. On July 4th, I received two computer drawings that I swear are so basic you would not even believe them. It looks like the back of my house with a small walkway, round paver patio, four chairs and a fire pit. Are you kidding??? The second picture was the same with a small plant bed pictured in the back with 7 plants in it. No names...nothing to say what plants they are. I am terribly disappointed.

This was a big and expensive job for us, so we gave it a lot of thought before taking the plunge. Friends of ours recommended Walter and his company. We are delighted with the results. Just as important, Walter Bainbridge, Ashley, and the entire team were terrific to work with. They listened to our needs, wants, budget and submitted a design that reflected their knowledge and experience with our tastes and input. The materials are of great quality. The team was knowledgeable, respectful, pleasant to us and to the neighbors. At the end of the project we hit an unforeseen problem with a storm drain. Walter took care of the issue with professionalism, courtesy, and attention to our wishes. I don't think we could have asked for a better outcome. We highly recommend this company without reservation.

Walter came out to the house and walked the grounds with us. We discussed our wants and concerns with the property. After two weeks we sat down again to review what we thought would be a full landscape plan for our back yard, but was really just a sample of what we could do if we worked with them. He left the drawings with us, but it was nothing we could use in the future. I was disappointed that we did not get a complete plan for our backyard from which we could work, but I was very happy with the ideas he provided. However, I would not have paid for the ideas. We tried to coordinate our schedules to have him come back out, but we have been too busy

Ashley came out from Bainbridge and looked at our yard. We provided a plat for the property that she used to make a beautiful landscaping design for our yard. I am very pleased and looking forward to getting started implementing the suggestions.

They said they couldn't do the installation part because I am not in their service area. Basically, the service was for plan and installation but they couldn't do the installation. However, they came and they did the design for me so I did the installation part by myself. Their business motto is they give this good deal and they want to take the other half like do the installation and plants and all that. It seem that they knew that they couldn't do that and they see there's no gravy on my deal but they still honored giving me the plan. That was probably why there was a delay and it was a little difficult to get those plans from them. There was a delay of at least a month and a half.

It went very well. This is a big job and my Dad always taught me to get at least three estimates for any big jobs and their's was the first and I was able to use it as the basis of the other estimates as well so I was able to compare apples to apples estimates. The final estimate from a competitor came in several thousand less so I went with the competitior. However, this would not have been possible without the solid plans and drawings by Bainbridge. I especially appreciated that their salesman did not press me with a hard sell or call me repeately.

Since the design consultation in late April went well I was expecting the rest of the planning to go well also . We were expecting to have a design plan in 2 weeks (Mid May) per our agreement with the owner. Two weeks passed and no design plan so I called the owner and left a voice mail... no response. I called again a few days later and still no response. At this point I was beginning to have serious doubts about using this contractor. I called again on 24 May and was told that the design plan would be ready on 29 May... well guess what happened. It is now 3 June and still nothing from Bainbridge. I spoke to Walter this morning (3 June) and he said he is working on the design plan and it would be ready in one week. At this point I have lost all confidence in this contractor and will not be using them. Reading the other reviews I got the impression that this was a good contractor but I am glad I found out early on that this contractor was a LEMON.

I wasn't impressed by their concept. My impression was that the conceptual plan was put together in five minutes. The implementation cost was very expensive for whatever they proposed. They quoted me for around $9000 to plant a few large American hollies, one magnolia and one dogwood. Responsiveness, Punctuality were great.

Through an Angie's List deal I purchased a design consultation with Bainbridge. Walter Bainbridge himself came out to see the space, take measurements and pictures, and designed several options for us. Based on his design, we decided on several options, and his crew came to get started within a couple of weeks of our deposit. The crew was very knowledgeable, did great work, and made the yard and patio areas much more livable, including putting in drainage systems in the yard to carry water away from areas where it used to pool and cause a mess. I had one result that I wasn't too happy with, and Walter met me out at the house to look over it. The issue dealt with a gutter downspout that was in the wrong place. Walter and I came up with a great compromise, and he agreed to get it fixed for free so that the remaining downspout would tie into our drainage system. The other reviews on Angie's List singing praise for Bainbridge Outdoor are correct as far as I'm concerned. While their work isn't the cheapest, it's certainly quality. I would definitely recommend Bainbridge Outdoor to friends and family in the future.

The crew did an outstanding job. They had to excavate around irrigation pipes and outdoor lighting wires. They dug about 4" deep and removed all sod and soil. They laid landscape cloth and then stones with a perimeter of stone dust. The entire area was regraded for perfect drainage. The stones and dust were tamped down to provide a secure surface. The crew cleaned up perfectly and left everything in order. They were very careful to avoid damaging any existing landscaping or hardscape surfaces.

It was right on point and it was better than I expected. She recommended some great ideas that I hadn't thought about.

On May 2nd I emailed Ashley and gave her my specific availability of M-F and the specific hours I could do this as well as anytime they could fit me in on Saturdays. The response was : I would be happy to schedule a time to meet. If you could forward me your address and also let me know what dates work for you best. Right now we are scheduling for May 28th and beyond. Weekends are limited, so I will have to check on those to see if any designer has an opening. I did so but 4 days passed with no response. I emailed again asking: Why is it taking so long to schedule an appt? The response was: I am sorry you feel that it is taking so long to make an appointment. This is our busiest time of the year and like you, most people want weekend and evening appointments, so they fill in very fast. Both myself and the other designer try to get everyone in as fast as we can, but because this is a very busy time of year, we have filled most of the evening and weekend slots. If you can meet in the day, I would be happy to find a time sooner, but for evenings, I am only taking appointments for the week of May 28th (as we are closed on the 27th). If anyone has an opening before then I will be happy to let you know. I emailed AGAIN my specific availability and this time have received no response whatsoever. She could have scheduled me out till June and it would not have been a problem. How hard is it to schedule an appointment??!!!! At this point, I question their design skills if they can't manage to book an appt for a customer who has already paid for service.

Great. The compnay (specifically Ashley) is incredibly responsive. There was an issue with a section of fence that didn't match the plan. They agreed to the issue, and came out and fixed it in the next couple of days, as they said they would.

They proposed only work they thought was necessary to alleviate the drainage problems. We had received an estimate for $25,000, which the contractor said was necessary to take care of the problem. After about 9 months, we still have not had any drainage problems. The head of the company stopped by every day to talk to us and oversee the work. In addition, the work was done in a timely fashion. Highly recommend them.

We originally purchased and Angie's List deal for landscape design, and decided to have this company complete the work after they submitted a quote with the design. We worked exclusively with Ashley, and she is great to work with! I had few requests, but those I did were incorporated into the design. We had newly installed hardscape retaining walls in front of the house that needed plants badly, and Ashley drew up an easily understandable plat. When she brought it to the house, she also brought photos of each plant type in the drawing as well as an estimate for Bainbridge to complete the work. They were higher than some other estimates that we got, but I liked the idea of having the same company install the plants who created the plat, for continuity's sake. The installation was quick and took roughly one full day, two mornings in a row. We won't be able to truly appreciate Ashley's hard work until the plants grow into the spaces, but it already looks so much better than the empty beds did. Since we're putting the house onto the market soon, this landscaping work put the finishing touch on the front of the house. I would certainly recommend Bainbridge for landscape work.

Walter Bainbridge was on time, presented us with a complete computer generated plan, made changes to our specifications while we looked on and had an interesting design. We have not made a final decision but Walter is definitely in the running.

It worked out great and we ended up using that design. They came out within a week, looked at our yard, took pictures, went back and made a design, and submitted it to us.

The experience so far has been great.

Walter Bainbridge from Bainbridge Outdoor Design Building Inc. provided us with an estimate to renovate our backyard. He was extremely professional and responsive to our questions and requests. He provided us with a lovely design but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to sign a contract with him at this time. We will definitely be looking to use his services in the future though.

Our first appointment had to be rescheduled, but not a big deal. He came the following week. The next time he came with the drawings and cost estimate, he brought donuts for our kids. Sometimes it's those little things that make a good company great. We've paid our deposit and hope to have actual land-moving begin in a few weeks.

From the very first visit with Walter and Ashley they exceeded expectations. The consultation we purchased was a bargain. After spending time to understand our wish list and the unique challenges of our site, they returned with impressive renderings for potential options for the project. Our project had a lot of scope creep - but that was not on the part of the Bainbridge team, we were simply impressed by their workmanship and expertise so we continued to take action on wish list items. Before the project commenced Walter provided our neighbors with notice and demostrated much thoughtfulness and consideration through out the process which was a relief to not have people "irritated" by our project. The crew was exceptional and they have worked with Walter for years so they are very reliable, trustworthy and conscientious. Walter and Ashley went out of their way to help us trouble shoot situations and were extremely patient and supportive while we (as clients) overthought parts of the project. I was most impressed with the quality of workmanship and the commitment to meeting our schedule for completion. I get the sense that they schedule their projects carefully as not to take on too much to ensure jobs are done in a timely fashion. I certainly felt like we were their primary focus during our entire project.

They did a deck for me. They are phenomenal, they are a great company. Walter is the owner, he is very professional. He came out on a Saturday and a Sunday to go over everything. They gave us 3-D renderings of all the designs. He was willing to let us do some of the projects on our own and then doing some of the projects. Basically, we told him everything we wanted to have and he came up with a great idea. He even came up with things he thought we would like that we are very excited about. They are very good company. We haven't gotten pricing from them yet but so far they have been great.
