We would highly recommend Augustine Roofing. They gave us an estimate back in December of 2011, but we weren't quite ready to move forward. Called them mid-March and spoke to Rick. We had our proposal revised slightly to include the shingles on a new screened in porch so that the warranty would be on the entire roof and not just part of it. This company was highly responsive and very professional. I asked Steve if they wouldn't mine removing an old antenna on our roof and he said they would take care of it. They not only took it from the roof, they hauled it away. I wasn't home when the roof was installed, but my husband said the clean up and the crew were amazing. They spent so much time making sure that our yard was free of all debris - this really impressed my husband. To sum it up, a great experience...from start to finish!

Called to get an estimate for fixing some shingles that the wind had flipped up and that did not lay flat again or were missing. Was told minimum charge was around $350 I think. I was wasn't sure if any shingles were missing since it was toward peak of roof and hard to see. Bill Augustine came out for the estimate. He arrived on time and saw the issue I was having. He said he would have one of his men come out the following week and fix the shingles and it would only cost me $150.00 and he would just email me an invoice to pay. The shingles were fixed the following week and Bill called to say there would be no charge, but to just keep him in mind if and when I need a roofer. What a way of doing business!!!! I will for sure call when I need to have my roof replaced, and I will recommend him to anyone needing a new roof or repairs.

It went very well. Like many others, his estimate was in line with what I thought it should be. the company was very professional and great to deal with.

This was one of three estimates that I received to do a repair/replacement on my roof. While I ended up not going with Augustine they were extremely responsive and offered competitive pricing for both the repair and replacement options. Rick, the estimator, was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything to me in detail and further answered additional questions over the following days as they came up. They were very professional, responsive, and competitive in pricing.

The Overall Experience" grade comes with an asterisk - until we get a heavy rain the jury is still out. But the company rep was very responsive and explained everything he planned to do and did. Seems like a very professional outfit.

Mr. Augustine come to my house to give me an estimate because was a liking on the roof of my house, however, it did not need any work. Mr. Augustine was very honest regarding to problem, he explained to me that becasue of havy wind and raining it couse the liking, and I did not have to worry about that it was not going to hapened again. I may another eight years before I have to replace the roof in my house, when the time come to have this work done, I'll be sure to call hime. Augustine Roofing came out to the house with fifteen guys and put a new roof on my house. They are very professional and responsive.

They came on time and completed the job in one day and came by the next day to complete finishing touches and clean up. They used the highest quality materials. And it looks beautiful!

We live in Texas and had to hire a roofing company for our townhouse in northern VA. This was scary considering we could not see the roof damage (from age and storms) and had to rely heavily on a company in which we had no connection to. However, Rick Newman of Augustine Roofing immediately made us feel comfortable with his extensive knowledge. He went above and beyond what ANY roofing company or contractor for that matter, would ever have done. He worked with our insurance company, a handyman service (for another job), and to see his crew work with another crew we had to hire for another service that overlapped the same work area, was in perfect harmony. We cannot say enough GREAT things about Rick Newman and the company he represents, Augustine Roofing. Not only did their quote come in the lowest of four, the way they completely took care of us (going beyond our roof needs) and ensuring insurance coverage, was MORE than we could have hoped for. We will definitely contact Rick in the future, and for sure, will refer Augustine Roofing to ANYONE needing roofing services. Amazing service, communication, and dependability. I contacted Augustine roofing for an estimate on a roof replacement for a 3-story townhouse. Bill was on time for the estimate and was very respectful and professional. He clearly explained the work that he would need to do and gave me a detailed estimate. The price was very reasonable and I was pleased with the experience, but I ended up using another roofer who could get the roof done sooner. I would definitely recommend Augustine Roofing to anyone needing roof work, and I won't hesitate to contact him in the future for other roof jobs I need done.

Augustine Roofing was efficient in scheduling an appointment to give us an estimate. Mr. Augustine showed up promptly and explained our roofing options after examining the roof. He gave us a quote and when it was accepted, he did not require a deposit for materials - the only quote we got that had that policy. He also had the longest guarantee on both labor and materials of the 4 quotes we received. The Augustine roofing crew showed up on time and worked steadily through the 2 days it took to complete the job. They were courteous and accommodating in allowing others access to a shared driveway and cleaned up as they took off sections of the old roofing so that we could allow our pets to use the yard. Although the process was longer than planned, the crew worked until the job was done and answered all our questions and concerns. I contacted Augustine on 11/17 and was happy to find out that they could come for an estimate on Friday the 19th. I called back immediately when I realized I had conflict, so we set the appointment for Monday the 21st. I called this company because it was one of the few without any negative remarks about no-shows for estimates. Unfortunately, they DIDN'T show up. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt (I wasn't sure if I gave them my ph #) so I called when they hadn'd showed up after being about a 1/2 hour late. I left a message wondering if they had a last minute conflict and made sure I left my ph#. Thay haven't called yet (today is 11/27). It's unfortunate, because if they had called me back I would have still considered using them.

I called around to numerous companies and this was one of 3 that actually had time to come out within the month. they provided an estimate that was very reasonable. The quote was less than half of what I heard from other companies. When the work was done it turned out to be much more intensive and required more work and materials than expected. The company stood by the intitial estimate and proformed the work in a timely manor with excellent customer service. When it comes time for another repair or roof replacement these folks have my business, we are very happy with this company.

They came in and got everything done in a day. Everything looks good. The roof is working fine and the price was also good.

Most responsive contractor I ever dealt with. Final price matched estimate exactly. Rick even did some extra work (fixed a leaky window for a great price). The work was delayed a couple of times because of weather, but Rick called me every time to make sure I knew I was not forgotten. Job done in one day with the workers literally going through my lawn to make sure There was no debris left behind.

My first contact with Augustine Roofing was a call due to a leaking skylight in my family room. I called a few companies but they were the only one who was willing to respond in a short period of time. They made a couple trips and phoned me to make sure that they had fixed the leak. So when I decided to have my roof replaced I definitely gave Bill Augustine a call. I called 3 different roofing companies that were highly rate on Angie's List for quotes. One company was $4000 more than Bill's quote and the other quote was close to Bill's but based on my experience with Bill I decided to go with him. The building materials were delivered a couple days before the work started. They came out and finished the job in two days which included replacing the roof, 2 skylights and a sky tunnel. There was a small problem with the sky tunnel installation but was resolved to my satisfaction. All in all I was quite please with the work done and Bill and his guys were very easy to work with. The roof has definitely been tested with all the rain and I am please to report - no leaks! Thanks Bill.

Following hail damage in the spring of 2011 and torrential rains in June and July, our old roof began to leak every time it rained. Bill Augustine had come several times over the past several years for to repair sections of the roof which had been slowly deteriorating due to poor workmanship by another company (which had been hired in 1996 to add a roof onto an addition to the house). Bill Augustine suggested we call our insurance company as hail damage was evident and the roof really needed replacing instead of patching. He offered to show the insurance inspector the damage and was extremely helpful during this process. Following several bids, we chose to have Augustine roofing replace the roof as his price was fair and in line with others. We are very pleased with the outcome. The crew came early Saturday morning and finished 3/4 of the roof that day. They returned a day later and finished the roof. Cleanup was very thorough. There wasn't a lost shingle or nail anywhere to be found. We certainly can recommend Augustine Roofing.

Was scheduled to inspect roof - called and left a message that he couldn't make the appointment. Has yet to call back to reschedule.

We had a large hole in our cedar shake roof which needed immediate repair. I called several highly rated Angie's list companies but Augustine roofing was the only one who seemed genuinely concerned with getting my hole fixed immediately. I called Augustine on Friday and Rick came out on Saturday AM and repaired my hole. He did not charge us ANYTHING to do this emergency patch. He gave us an estimate for a new roof. (We knew we needed a new roof but didn't realize how many holes were in our roof until we went up in the attic.) I got several estimates for our roof based on neighbors referrals and highly rated Angie's list providers. We selected Augustine because they had the lowest price and I believed they would do the best job. They exceeded our expectations in terms of doing a great job, providing a generous warranty, completing the work on time and taking great care to ensure that our yard and plants were not damaged. They paid attention to every detail, even taking the time to clean roof debris from our attic. Other vendors warned us our attic would be soiled but I was pleasantly surprised when our roofers offered to do a quick clean up in our attic (on a blazing hot day no less). I was very impressed with the skill level and work ethic of every employee in this company. They completed this large job without a hitch!

Awesome!! That's all I can say about Bill Augustine and his company. They replaced my roof and gutters on my home. I came home and there were roofing materials in the yard. The next day when I returned the roof was complete and I didn't see any signs that they were even there. Awesome job at an awesome price. I have been recommending them ever since to all my friends. Augustine was great about coordinating the visits with our tenant. They found the leak but it was a window issue not a roofing or siding problem so they couldn't fix it for us. Even though they put a fair amount of time into this project, they didn't charge us anything.
