AMAZING! Don't go anywhere else! Rick, the Rep is fantastic, he's quick to respond, professional and patient with any issues that we brought to them! The crews were all kind, courteous and worked professionally and efficiently. They respected our property and in the end cleaned up carefully. We needed our roof replaced including all the plywood, it was a big job! We needed siding and gutters as well, a very big job that was done on time and very efficiently, The end result is spectacular! The inspector came today and said its the best job he's seen! No loose ends, just amazing results! Really, this is THE company to use for gutters, roof or siding!

Augustine was professional and prompt throughout the entire process. I interviewed 6 roofing contractors for the job. Augustine won the contract based upon their ability to meet all our needs at a competitive price. The salesman was excellent and quickly followed up on each question, at times the company owner, Bill Augustine, provided responses. The installation itself could not have gone better. I was kept informed of the likely start date and when this was delayed due to poor weather on a previous job. (Only one day delay.) The team was extraordinarily hard working. They put in 12-13 hour days for 3 straight days to remove the prior roof and install the new one. I cannot recall seeing 10 men maintain such a high pace of work for so long on a hot day under the sun. The materials were all of high caliber, the work done professionally, and the job site cleaned thoroughly after completion. We had one minor issue with the replacement of snowguards. I discussed this with the team and it was fixed immediately and satisfactorily. I intend this comment as a positive, since issues arise in most large undertakings. A contractor earns his stripes by his ability to respond and solve the unexpected problem. To be honest, I have not a single complaint with any aspect of the work, and would use or recommend Augustine Roofing at any future date. They were professional, diligent and competitive.

Augustine installed a new roof after our fairly new home's roof showed wear and tear. A couple estimators including the one from Augustine said our home's roofers were sloppy and the home inspector doesn't check the roof. Augustine was professional and courteous. They were responsive and got the job done on time. They did a good job cleaning up and worrying about the kids coming and going near an area they might be working on. I was very pleased with them

Excellent experience - left for work and returned to a complete job!

Bill came out and surveyed what needed to be done. We discussed different roofing materials and he gave me guidance about how the shingles I picked out would get lost on the style roof that I had. He walked the rood and measured the dimensions, gave me a quote and followed up on all the questions I had. We coordinated when the work should happen based on the siding work that was also being done. His company came when they said they would, did exactly what we agreed upon and completely picked up after themselves. I have dogs at home and they were careful not to throw debris into the yard on the side the dogs had access to. Wonderful overall experience and would highly recommend.

They arrived early Tuesday morning (around 7:30 AM) with a team of six guys, and those fellows worked very hard and didn't leave until after 7:00 PM. Before they left Tuesday they cleaned up EVERYTHING - there was NO litter left (they used a large trash bin for all the old cedar shakes, and tarps for all the debris as they installed the new roof). They completed almost everything Tuesday, and when they came back Wednesday all they had to do was the gazebo and install the new skylight. One thing we had requested was that, while they were here they remove some decorative shutters on the house (with their tall ladders, it was a lot easier than having my husband do it). Due to miscommunication they didn't do that Wednesday but they came back Thursday just to remove those shutters. The entire company, from the owner all the way to the guy picking up debris, shows an excellent service ethic. They obviously take pride in their work and are very professional. The owner clearly stands behind his work, and the final cost was exactly what was estimated. I would highly recommend this company.

Prompt, professional and did a great job.

My boss had his roof done in 2011 from Augustine Roofing. He gave them an A rating so I invited them to the table with 2 other competitors. In the end, each of the roofers that I spoke with brought the same skill set, but it was Bill's (Augustine representative) professionalism and manner that sold me. Just for scheduling purposes I spoke with Augustine the 3rd out of 3 and I discussed what I had learned along the way. Bill was concerned with 1 thing...that I got the roof that was best for my home. We ultimately agreed on a price and the "system" and the work started a week later. He came by the job site about a 1/3 of the way through on the day of installation and checked on his team. There was a forman on site at all times. The job was done thoroughly and they cleaned up everything to my satisfaction. The roof looks great, but the "system" put in place was my main concern. I was very concerned about sub-contracting and was assured that each worker was actually a salaried legal employee of Augustine Roofing. They do not sub-contract and all workers showed up in Augustine Roofing trucks..not personal vehicles. Nice job all around!

We contacted Augustine Roofing over the Christmas Holiday. Rick came out to the house for measurement and discuss they types of roofing options that were available and the product/manufacturer that they sold and installed. He wrote up a quote for me while we was here and and reviewed it with me line by line and answered all the questions that I had. After meeting with several roofing companies with selected Augustine and were extremely please with their work and professionalism. We choose architectural singles for the replacement. Augustine delivered the materials to the house the day prior to installation. The crew worked efficiently and quickly and completed the entire job in one day, including removing the old roof , clean up and disposal. They communicated with us on delivery and installation, because weather can and did cause a short delay. I would definitely recommended working with Augusine if you are looking for a professional and qualified roofing company. Thanks to Rick, Fidel and the crew.

Augustine Roof did a very good job of communicating, keeping us touch, making appointments and rescheduling the job due to weather.

The service has turned out well. I looked at three different roofers and this company was thorough and gave a good estimate. They came and did the work with no issues. They had good references and I even spoke with one of them and they were pleased as well. The estimate was the lowest and they did not try to hard sell.

Augustine Roofing was very responsive to my request for an estimate and the start date was very reasonable compared to another highly rate roofing company on Angie's List who indicated it would 4-6 weeks before they could perform the requested services. The estimator, Rigo, was courteous and responsive to my questions and inquires about others services that they provided. The roofing crew was on schedule and complete the job within 1 1/2 hours.

Roof repair was completed quickly and professionally.

Bill Augustine (President) was excellent, and the service and support superb due to the fact that his roofing team are full time employees and not folks off the street. This provided an integrated team that worked very well together and in unison.

Overall the story from start to finish was a positive. Augustine did a good job (no leaks yet after one winter) and was professional and punctual. They did the work as advertised and completed it with minimal intrusion to our daily schedule. Estimate was right on. I am still waiting for gutter covers (made a call but never heard back). They recommended against them, but I asked for the covers to be installed anyway. Still awaiting that call back. Once that piece is completed, we will be completely satisfied.

Company was very professional and knowledgable. Another company had been hired to fix the leak, but leak continued. Unlike the other company, Augustine Roofing immediately knew what was wrong, how to fix it and guaranteed their work.

They were exceptionally professional and customer service oriented the entire time I dealt with them. Because it would take a couple days before they could do the work, they even offered to come out and put a tarp over the broken fan in case of rain at no additional cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roof work done.

The company was responsive to our request for an estimate. The estimator was courteous and provided a professional, detailed proposal. The price was probably the best we received out of four highly rated companies on Angle's List, but we decided to go with another company who's venting options we liked better even though they were more expensive. I spoke with Tony shortly after we had selected the other proposal, and he advised that Augustine could have altered their proposal to include the different venting option. We could have possibly saved some money by giving Augustine a chance to bid on the same options, but it didn't occur to me to ask. Even after learning that we had gone with a different company, Tony remained just as courteous and professional as he had always been and wished us luck. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them as I have every reason to believe they would do a fine job and offer a good price.

The estimate alone was simple and painless. Everything was done over the phone and via computer using Eagle View. The only small holdup was the weather. Roofing crew showed up on schedule and had the roof installed before 4pm. Very courteous and professional. Considering the amount of debris from the roof, clean up around the perimeter was exceptional! Yes, it does cost to have a new roof installed, but Augustine came in with a great price and delivered with a fine product!! I would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs

The service and work went better than expected. There were a few delays due to lack of correct supplies being available, but the work was completed before the next rain. Thanks to Tony for his excellent diligence and responsiveness.

We were in desperate need of a complete new roof. We received estimates from 3 companies we chose from Angie's List and decided on Augustine Roofing. After a date was set, the crew arrived as scheduled and completed the task by evening. They also showed us all the rotted boards that had to be replaced. After completing the entire roof, they removed all debris, raked for staples and nails, and left our yard as they found it. I have only praise for the workers and this company.

A large crew of men arrived at our home and worked incredibly hard and efficiently. My home is about 3500 square feet and our roof is pretty steep - and the crew finished the roof over the main part of the house in one day, stopping around 4:30/5:00 pm, and completed the area over the garage the following morning. They cleaned up the exterior of the home quickly and effectively. The roof looks fantastic. I'm actually pretty amazed what a difference it makes aesthetically. I received multiple compliments from neighbors, several of whom remarked how quickly the work was completed. Bill arrived later with the crew to do a walkthrough. I asked a few questions and I had found no issues with the work. He reminded me that he is just a phone call away. I wish more businesses operated like this one. These guys truly are fantastic, and I'm very grateful to have found them on Angie's List.

Rick, the project manager came out and gave us an estimate as well as his cell phone number for any questions we may have. He was very professional and even climbed up to put a quick patch on our leak even though we didn't sign a contract. We then signed the contract as his estimate was close to others and I read the reviews that it was a reputable company. Once our insurance adjuster came out to see the damage due to Hurricaine Sandy he agreed the roof needed to be replaced but that the quote was too high for our square footage I showed him other quotes and he adjusted our check to come very close to Augustine Roofings quote. It did take awhile to get on the schedule to get the roof replaced (all said and done 3 weeks but due to Hurricaine Sandy, Rick said it may take at least 2 weeks). The day we were supposed to get our roof they canceled because they said that their truck broke down. They came the next day and the guys didn't have any power source and needed to run an extension cord from the inside of our house to the outside it tripped our circuit breaker 3 times. It seemed a little odd they didn't have their own power source but used ours? I had asked that they take down the antenea that was on the chimney as I had it written in our contract to get it taken down. The roofers didn't understand me (language barrier). They also only replaced half our front porch roof and it was contracted to have the whole thing done. All of this was in our contract but I had to remind them to follow through on these things myself so I was glad I was home and able to make sure these things happened. They did do everything once it was brought to their attention. Over all the experience was a good one and I would use them again. Communication just seemed to sometimes not be clear (not from Rick he was very communicative). We have yet to get our final bill from the work completed.

I did not know any roofing contacts and tried Augustine Roofing out of the blue based on reviews on Angie's List. When I first called, a live person answered and an appointment was made for an estimate. On the day the of the estimate their estimator arrived exactly on time, performed a thorough inspection of the whole roof and provided a written estimate on the spot. The price sounded fair to me and he then immediately scheduled a date the following week to do the work. When the second date came, a crew of three people showed up and knocked out the job quicker than expected. They also arrived a couple hours earlier than promised which was also very nice to see. I highly reccomend this company and will definitely use them again!

We've been needing to replace the roof for some time now and once the cover of our attic fan was blown off by one of our many windstorms this summer/fall it was time to pull the trigger. We called around and got a hold of Rick at Augustine. Rick was great to work with, very punctual and offered us an excellent deal. Everything else being equal we would have gone with Augustine and Rick's crew. The contractor we ended up going with was in the same price ballpark and came with an endorsement from our immediate next door neighbor who had her roof replaced earlier this year with them.
