We wanted just to fix a leak on the roof initially. After we talked with their estimator, we decide to go ahead with a whole roof replacement because the price was very reasonable in comparison with other quotas we had. The work was done quickly in one day, the site has been cleaned. They forgot to instal back a couple of gutter screens, after a call they fixed it..No pressure for payment in advance. Tony, the manager, was very friendly and very professional. Very satisfied, would do business with them again.

Augustine Roofing is incredible!! Mr. Bill Augustine arrived at the scheduled time and provided us with a very competitive quote. Our house was built in 1961 and Bill answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns. After evaluating his quote with the 4 other ones we had received...we chose Augustine Roofing and we are very happy we did! Francisco and his crew, arrived at the scheduled time and removed 2 layers of shingles down to the plywood. They notified us that the plywood which was original to the house was in very poor condition and recommended that it be replaced. They stripped the roof to the rafters and replaced all the plywood, this additional work was done at a very competitive price and efficiently with such short notice. We were very happy that this was brought to our attention before the new shingles were installed. Augustine Roofing's work ethic and professionalism is to be commended. We are very happy with the whole roof replacement and would recommend Augustine Roofing 100%!!!

We had been referred to Augustine Roofers by a neighbor who had their roof replaced as well. We were given a similar price to their home. We had one rain delay but the crew arrived on Friday and completed the entire job by 530pm. They did an excellent job cleaning up and that was actually commented on by one of our neighbors. We were very happy with the experience and enjoyed working with Tony, who did all the scheduling. I would recommend them to my other friends and neighbors.

I was very pleased with the work. They arrived on time and got right to work removing the old shingles and checking the decking. They laid the new underlayment and winter guard. They then installed the architectural shingles which look much better than what I used to have on there. They finished by 4pm and did a great job cleaning up. Their price was significantly better than I had been quoted by another provider. We found them because 2 neighbors had used them and were happy with their work. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The work required a couple of workers for about three days. Overall, I was very, very pleased with the work they did. Before they began work, when it rained the shed's roof leaked so badly that you could almost take a show inside the shed. After they finished their work, all roof leaks were stopped. In addition, due to lack of gutters, a lake used to form under the shed when it rained. Now there is no lake, because the rain water is now channeled off to harmless locations. The work was very reasonably priced and done in a very professional manner.

Great service and good price. I had new shingles installed on my roof. The roof was approximately 44 squares in size. The price offered was very competitive for a well known company ($2,000 cheaper than a direct competitor). The owner came and provided a quote. Was responsive with questions I had. Provided samples of the shingles we wanted and arranged for the installation. Installation was done one week later in just over one day. The crew worked from dawn till dusk and then came back the next day for an hour to tidy up in daylight. New roof looks great.

They were fantastic and they did a really good job. Insurance covered part of the expense.

Riggo came out to do our initial estimate and was nothing but professional and honest. We had a couple small issues with the initial installation of the 8 skylights. There was no issue with the construction and the install, it was cosmetic. Riggo came back with a partner and fixed everything with high quality craftsmanship. He was sincere and an overall a pleasure to deal with. In the end, we were satisfied with the services provided. We were not pleased with the interior look of the install. Riggo came to check it out and immediately wanted to fix the interior painting and caulking around the skylights. Please note that this did not cause any rain or bugs to enter the home as the skylights were fully sealed from the outside. Even though we told them we were fine with white paint, Riggo and his partner made 2 trips to the hardware store to match the off-white recessed window paint exactly. No one would be able to tell if the paint did not match which was why we did not want to force a perfect color match.When they were working on the family room skylights, they noticed that the lightbulb had burned out. Since they were already on ladders, they pleasantly surprised us with a replacement bulb - and they didn't even point out that they had done it. We didn't notice until the evening after they had left. Finally, they quickly fixed some VA earthquake damage we had on the ceiling near the bathroom skylight where some drywall had chipped off. They went above and beyond at no extra cost. We had several quotes and they were significantly lower than the other 3 bids we received from Angie's listed companies.

Excellent service. One-day follow-up from initial phone contact, estimator was on time, thorough, and we received estimate within 1 business day. After signing the contract, we were provided a projected start date for the estimated two day project. The supplies were delivered one day before the start and the delivery team was very courteous and prepositioned the materials on the roof. The crew showed up on time and finished our roof within one day. Very professional, our crew assured all debris was removed from site. We had two other estimates for our project: one was $3,000 more, the other was $1,000 more.

I work in the remodeling industry and have worked with many contractors. I did a lot of research and obtained 9 bids before deciding to go with Augustine. Aside from the fact that they were among the least expensive, I was very impressed with Rigo Leon. He is the project manager that I first met when I was interviewing for bids. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, professional and answered all of my questions. I received his quote a few days after meeting with him. The quote was easy to understand and very clear on the items that would be addressed. A number of the contractors I met with supplied me with quotes and numbers that I could barely understand. So, aside from the professionalism, the cost was what solidified my decision to go with Augustine. Once the work started, it went very well. It took two days to complete most of the work. There was one skylight that needed to be ordered (because we changed our mind about wanting an operable skylight). It took a while for the skylight to come in, but once it did, Augustine worked with me to arrange a time to install it. My job site was left clean, every time. I have two dogs and was concerned about nails, but they did a great job getting rid of all the waste. Rigo came to the job site when the job was in progress to make sure that everything was going well and was always available to answer questions. When it was time to pay for services there was a mix-up with my credit card company. Tony, in the office, was wonderful to work with and was very patient while we sorted out the problem. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have any roofing work done!

From start to finish, Augustine Roofing was very professional and courteous. Their estimator came quick and once I accepted the deal I was quickly scheduled. The job looks great. No complaints and thank you to Angies List for making them easy to find.

All contractor's should make a telephone call to every one who is requesting information. Since I never even heard from them, I would have to give them a "f", and I would never tell anyone to use this company if they need a new roof. I guess they don't need new business.

They did the work very well. They were prompt, clean, neat and honest. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. They were very reasonably priced as well.

Augustine repaired and replaced the roof and gutters on my house which I'd recently purchased. I'd used Augustine at my old house and was very happy with their workmanship and professionalism. So when my roof started leaking at my new home, I knew immediately I would use them again. Rick provided a fair estimate and walked me through the damaged areas on my roof (even showed me pictures of the problem areas immediately). Since my roof was leaking, he did his best to make my roof a priority. I was very pleased with the clean up. And fingers crossed, the roof and gutters are working well! I would definitely use Augustine Roofing again and have recommended them to friends and neighbors.

My first choice was Augustine?s based on reviews/ratings from Angie?s List. Rigo was Augustine?s estimator who was very nice, professional, communicative and knowledgeable. He clearly understood what was needed and provided insight and suggestions. His team of three roofers came out to do the work and Rigo came onsite mid-way through the job to review the progress and make sure all work was going as planned. The job was finished on time and on budget. Rigo also made sure to touch up some of the flashing/sealant/shingles around one or two other existing roof caps at no extra cost. Aside from having to pickup one or two nails that came off the roof the job site was clean and free of materials/debris. Rigo was good in following up after the job to address any questions and see if I was satisfied with the work. In my opinion, the price was good and the job was done well.

A thorough quote was provided and the repairs made early the following week, at the agreed price and meeting the specs outlined. Iw as very happy with them and would use them again!

When we purchased our home we were advised to have a roofer complete minor repairs/maintenance for the roof. I recieved several quotes from different companies but choose Augustine Roofing based on reviews and customer service during the process to set up appointment. Tony was very nice and explained what they would do when they came out for the estimate.The service from the initial call, reminder call prior to the appointment, and the quality of the service from Rigo when he came to provide the estimate was outstanding. Rigo did a great job explaining the repairs needed and provided an estiamte on the same day. The price was within the range provided by our home inspector. Our appointment had to be moved due to weather but they did a great job communicating with us and keeping us informed on the rescheduling process. Rigo completed the work on our house with another gentleman and the work was completed in a few hours. Rigo explained what work completed and answered all my questions regarding the condition of my roof. This was especially important for a new homeowner. He was very informative and provided my very useful information on replacing a roof. We unfortunately had an issue a few days later when we found a drip in our master bathroom. We called and they immediately came out to check on the roof and the repair needed tostopthe drip was completed. They were able to find the issue and fix the problem on the same day. I appreciated the quick follow-up and the concern they showed on the issue we were having. We have been so impressed with the service and quality of the work that we know we will be calling them for all future roofing needs and will refer them to frends,co-workers, and family.

The roof was completed for the price and in the timeframe quoted by the company. Communication with the company was very good.

Their service was good and we were pleased. They were always available when I needed them and very responsiveness. They first came to give the estimate and explained everything effectively. They worked efficiently and cleaned up well. I have no complaints with the service.

I took my time shopping around for the replacement of a cedar shingled roof for my end-unit mansard townhouse. After several calls I was happy to speak to Bill Augustine. While more than a few companies do not, or no longer do cedar shake roofs, he assured me that it is a project his company has a lot of experience with. He dispatched his supervisor, Rick for the estimate and consultation. I had estimates at this point that ranged from $17,500 to $28,000 and I wasn't feeling too confident with the abilities of the lower end quote. Rick came to inspect the roof and walked me through what Augustine would do for me. Rick was friendly, prompt, and knowledgable about product and process. His no-pressure approach was refreshing and his 'piece of cake' confidence about his crew's ability to tackle my project really put me at ease. When his estimate of $20,250 came (which included beautiful, top of the line Anbrook medium, fire treated, Hand-Split Western Red Cedar Shakes), I was sold. His crew arrived early on the appointed day. They worked hard and fast all morning ripping off the old roof and by lunchtime had already begun the new one. The crew supervisor was clearly very experienced and immediately responded to any concerns I had. Rick too came around to check the progress and was totally open and responsive, on the spot, whether in person or via cell phone. He said I was in good hands. He meant it. The crew worked very hard. I have a two story elevation on the front of my house and a three story elevation at the rear. I was amazed at how well they did on this project. From start to finish was a six day span which included a holiday, and a snowstorm followed by a day of high winds. What they couldn't do one day, they safely made up for it the next. Pretty impressive. They cleaned the property upon leaving each evening. The final price was exactly what the initial quote stated. No sort of down payment was requested. I got the invoice (a few days after completion) only after Rick called to ensure that I was completely happy with the entire job. He further requested that I call him for any issues or questions I have in the future. I wholeheartedly would recommend Augustine to anyone.
