We contracted with Augustine Roofing to install a roof on our townhouse, and we were more than happy with their professionalism and performance from beginning to end. First, Jon came to give an estimate, and inspected our roof , which my husband had noticed had suffered wind damage during a severe wind storm. Jon suggested we call our home insurance agent, and although we had a large deductible, our insurance paid for more than half of the roofing cost. During that initial inspection, Jon made temporary repairs to our roof so it was waterproofed, as it was December and we were concerned about snowfall and rain and possible future damage to our interior. The date of the work was rescheduled twice because the temperature was too cold to meet the required conditions of the products being used, but Augustine Roofing kept in close touch with us and gave us advance notice each time. Eventually, the temperature cooperated with us, and the work was started and completed on January 11th, 2018, and we were pleased with the new roof and the clean up. I would recommend Augustine Roofing, and would definitely hire them again.

Everything went very smoothly. I was impressed with the thorough and professional work. There was regular supervision of the workmen and the roof was finished in the promised time. A few days after the work was completed, the supervisor came by to follow up and we both noticed that there was a leak in the screened porch near a skylight from rain the night before. A couple of workmen were dispatched who addressed the issue, and they returned a few days later to confirm that all was well.

From the first day when Jon came to do the estimate and go over the materials and pricing available to me until the crew completed the yard cleanup and I contacted Nancy to make payment, everyone kept their word, was on-time, courteous and professional. Highly professional staff and crew. Everything went perfectly from the estimate to installation to clean-up. I compared five roofing companies for the same product but Augustine's went above and beyond! On the installation day they arrived at 7:55am like a swarm of bees. By 5:30pm, they were driving away. They left my yard and sidewalks cleaner than when they started! The roof looks great! I would recommend Augustine's without hesitation. So far, they've done at least four roofs in my neighborhood with two more homeowners ready to call them, too!

Augustine roofing lived up to their reputation. I had a whole roof replaced in Dec 2017 and am a very satisfied customer. They did a great job, on schedule and in terms of price, they are the lowest of all quotes I obtained. Augustine Roofing was very responsive to my emails and sent someome right away for an estimate of the work to be done. I had been dealing with another roofing company before I spoke with Augustine Roofing and I was glad I chose Augustine Roofing because the other roofing company was not responsive and Augustine Roofing was also very reasonably priced. The worker was very polite and punctual. He completed the work in a few hours. I would recommend Augustine Roofing to a friend.

Everything went excellent from estimate through install and clean up. Jon Frye is outstanding, very professional and courteous. The job was done within the price quoted (beat three other estimates) and done within the time frame quoted with allowance for minor delay due to weather (that is understandably not within anyone's control) that did not/not result in an inconvenience to us nor to the quality of work performed. The team showed up early Am (7:00 AM) as promised and got to work immediately tearing old roof off and installing new roof - all work performed in near freezing temperatures by a professional and competent team. Due to the time of the year (winter) the short days and early onset of darkness prevented job being completed in one day, (completed in 2 days) but based on how fast they worked, professionalism of the team, and the organization, coordination and oversight of Jon Frye I am supremely confident they are able to get these jobs done in one day during the summer, spring or even fall. Cleaned up afterwards and the new roof looks great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new roof. Thanks!

It went very well. The weather was our only issue, (which is out of everyone’s control). I was notified anytime there was a scheduling issue due to weather. The team showed up at 7am and took the old roof off, put the new one on and had my front and back yard cleaned up from the old shingles and nails by 4pm. They also answered all my questions and were very nice and professional. Everything went very smoothly.

They provided an estimate in a timely manner and were able to get us on the schedule quicker than anticipated when I mentioned that we need to get the gutters replaced ASAP so we could get the house powerwashed to be in compliance with our HOA. The workers were efficient, did the job and left no mess, scraps, etc. I would definitely hire them again.

The estimator arrived right on time and was very professional and knowledgeable about the materials and roofing layers of my old cedar roof. The repair was scheduled and done very quickly. The crew was on time and professional. They did high quality work and took extra care to find and repair problem areas. I’m always pleased when a roofing contractor advises minor repairs instead of trying to convince you to replace your roof. The overall experience makes it highly likely that I will hire this contractor for the bigger roof replacement job in a few years.

I had Augustine Roofing install my roof last year and needed a small repair. They never hesitated to take care of my needs and provided a quick and thorough repair.

All went exceptionally well. We needed a two layer tear off. We interviewed five companies. All had their various "sales" and "discounts' except for Augustine. The salesperson, Rigo who also oversaw the job, was knowledgeable and direct with no tricks of the trade employed. Rigo was quickly available to answer any questions we had before, during and after the project They did a beautiful and detailed job and they were the lowest bid. The team worked hard and cleaned up well .We would not hesitate to recommend them to others or use their services again.Thank you Augustine.Roofing.

After interviewing a few companies, I selected Augustine Roofing and am very pleased with the result, and especially with the process. Jon Frye is excellent. I knew nothing about roofs, so had a lot of questions and concerns, especially since I had to get HOA and Reston Association approval to change to architectural shingles. Jon always responded very quickly, thoroughly, and patiently. A pleasure doing business with this company -- very professional and courteous. Everyone I spoke with was always very nice. I could tell they appreciated my business, though a relatively small job. I highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job with the roof. It looks noticeably better than the other roofs in the court I live in. I got bids from several roofing companies and went with them because they had the best offer. The roofing crew was friendly and got the job done quickly. Roof replaced as proposed, within time predicted and within the price. On day one, the team (or crew) arrived, prepared for the work (laying down tarps), removed existing roof materials, installed new moisture barriers and new roofing material in one day. Cleaned all areas around home, and cleared all nails with powerful magnet broom device. On day two, a smaller team returned to finish up the work, installing storm guards and materials to seal all joints between the house and the roof. On day three, we received the final invoice for services, and paid in full. All work was performed professionally, and looks great. With a fifty year warranty on materials and labor, we know that this roof will last for a long time. We have only purchased new homes in the past, and never had a roof replaced in my thirty-five years of owning a home. If you need your roof replaced (or repaired), then I recommend using Augustine Roofing. TC

Very well. After a few days of sub-freezing temperatures the work was done and completed on the first day of non-freezing temperatures, a Sunday. The crew and project manager were very professional and kept me informed of the work as it progressed.
